Panther was, in only that its drivetrain had a habit of breaking the weak final drives, rendering it immobile. Had the planned Panther II upgrade been implemented, it would likely have been the best tank in the European theater, and have been able to still maintain its relatively high production rate.

Fictional nation of Cooksland produced about 200 of the version posted there; more were made of the 2pdr and 6pdr versions because the 17pdr was a massive overmatch for Japanese tanks.

CCV was produced until the end of the Korean War.

No more than 2,500 were built in history, but for Cooksland that is enough

It's the most famous thing to have destroyed a Challenger, for the obvious reason.
The second shell fired sprayed fragments into the open turret hatch and touched off the ammunition. It shouldn't have happened in the first place, for a long list of reasons.

There was an incident where an RPG-29 hit the LFP of the Chally II and penetrated. Not sure if it totaled the tank, though.

My nation has only modern Light Tanks. It's mountainous territory with deep forests and inside the country, there are many settlements everywhere, and hills and forests again.

So no friendly place for MBT's.

Did America ever capture any T-34's or did they just ditch them? Would be nice for study...but I have no clue how to go on studying an enemy tank without buying one.

actually, if he's talking about extremely dense, muddy, umid tropical jungles, then yeah, there might be some problems.

that's one of the reasons the brazilian army uses the Leopard 1A5 instead of a proper MBT. brazil did have a proprietary MBT design - see EE-T1 and EE-T2 "Osório".

it was created specially for a saudi competition. it kicked the Abram's ass, but as always the US resorted to politic intervention and stuff, and the saudi army ultimately chose the Abrams for this very reason. it was then rejected by the brazilian army as well, since it'd be hard to use such a tank in the amazonic forest. without funds, the company that designed the Osório broke down. surely a shame - with proper upgrades, it could be easily on par, if not above, other modern tanks such as the Abrams and T-90.

It won because it met the requirements, not that it was better. The Abrams has insane FCS and computers, so I doubt it.

Panthers were a bit shit the entire war, comparable to Sherman 76 but grossly inferior in terms of mechanical reliability.
