Conscription: Conscription is very rare and will only happen if the country is in direct serious threat.

Church and State: Church is completely separated and will never have any business with the state.

Education: The Government actively supports education and funds it heavily for free education, but dose not state-own it. All are freely allowed to go to any type of Education. All citizens must attend school for at least nine years. The government provides primary education for six years, starting at age six or seven, followed by six years of secondary education for ages 12 to 18. Some provinces may have five years of primary school but four years for middle school. There are three years of middle school and three years of high school.

Narcotics: All recreational drugs are allowed to be sold. BUT to enforce abuse, all drugs you buy must be recorded by any shop selling them and bring the records to your doctor on a check-up. If you are caught abusing, you are fined. The fine will grow three more times until you are sent to a 2-4 month jail sentence. Maximum sentence on continued abuse is 1-2.5 years.

Marriage: Marriage as defined by the Republic is a union between two persons. All genders are allowed to marry. The age you are allowed to marry is 16, 14 is the age of consent.

Poverty: Some provinces can get poorer than overs, the governors of these can request for government funding in housing and infrastructure. Social Security will be enacted in these areas temporarily. After these are enacted they have a couple months before the governors can give the green-light, as they should know, the support can drain government funds.

Geography

The Karish River, the third longest river in the country

Total: 196,723 km2/76,000 sq mi

Climate:
Russanland has a tropical monsoon climate characterized by wide seasonal variations in rainfall, high temperatures, and high humidity. Regional climatic differences in this flat country are minor. In general, maximum summer temperatures range between 38 and 41 °C. April is the hottest month in most parts of the country. January is the coolest (but still hot) month, when the average temperature for most of the country is 16-20 °C during the day and around 10 °C at night. Heavy rainfall is characteristic of Russanland causing it to flood most of the country every year. With the exception of the relatively dry northern province of Dashkar and parts of Mesvei and Loukel, where the annual rainfall is about 1600 mm, most parts of the country receive at least 2300 mm of rainfall per year.

Terrain:
Roughly 80 % of the landmass is made up of fertile alluvial lowland called the Russan Plains. Although altitudes up to 105 meters above sea level occur in the northern part of the plain, most elevations are less than 10 meters above sea level; elevations decrease in the coastal south, where the terrain is generally at sea level. With such low elevations and numerous rivers, water—and concomitant flooding—is a predominant physical feature. About 175,000 square kilometers of the total area of Russanland is covered with water, and larger areas are routinely flooded during the monsoon season.

Moral and Social Stances

For a better feel of what acceptable and what's not in Russanland, here are a few issues and what we feel towards them:

National Stances
Communism: We agree and like the idea of Communism, but many Government officials agree that the abolishment of the state and the abolishment of private property would be to chaotic to handle. We believe Communism is good on paper but also believe it is impossible to achieve due to its extreme philosophies.

Capitalism: Disagree, Capitalism, in the governments eyes, is a unfair and promotes the creation of social hierarchy. We agree to the freedom of opportunity which capitalism wishes to promote, but it never reaches to freedom of the worker, who lives in a repetitive work then relax society.

Socialism: Promotes strongly, due to us living in a Socialist society we promote equality, fairness and the freedom of the commoner.

Fascism: Against Strongly, a backwards and oppressive society that abuses the commoner to the utmost extreme. Their is no freedom for anyone except the state. We completely are against Fascist states altogether.

Anarchy: Disagrees With, although freedom is a good thing the last thing any state wants is chaos and breakdown of order.

Democracy: Promotes, the freedom of choice and for anyone to choose a leader is promoted highly.

Dictatorship: Disagree With, the way of living under a iron fist without a say is not looked kindly in Russanland.

Republic: Promotes, (See Democracy)

Empire: Neutral, although we like to see the power of a nation grow, we may not like it if they use force.

Technological developments: Promotes, Technology is always promoted as a society evolving use of the mind.

Militarism: Against, the military is never the most free thing to be under, we usually are against this.

Education and Science: Promotes, like Technology, it evolves society and should always be upgraded in infrastructure.

World Assembly: Neutral, we don't think the World Assembly is very useful, but it causes little harm.
