Since noone had cars, hardly anyone could escape from the capital fast enough, and before we knew it, so many had already died. Unclearable smoke filled the streets for hours as many choked to death on the air itself. Millions more starved from a lack of social welfare and health care due to the collapse of the government, and the remaining survivors fled to Vigil. It was here we decided this bloodshed must stop, so we took it upon ourselves to destroy this opposition and protect the citizens of the Zekian Commonwealth.

Now the bloodiest war in Human history was without a doubt The Interplanetary War, we are talking about a war that was on a scale not matched, a war were the smallest battle took more lives than the greatest conflict in the second world war. Nuclear waste has been dumped into space, on Mars, even on Earth a little, the war nearly ended Human civilization as we know it, but we got out of it alive.

It is quite a heartwarming story, very few civilizations will make it out of type 0 to be type 1, and you are only really save from destruction at type 2. Now that we look back on it, the past has no idea how good they had it in war, at least for a decent amount of the wars would let Humanity continue to march on in a way, this one killed more, damaged more, and threatened our existence, might have ended up like those Protheans.....maybe...we don't know how they died...

Over 40,000 lost their lives, for an overall 33% casualty rate in the single battle alone.
