A rebellion led by General Geard G Howard led an army of 32,000 men to attack the British forces a verse from his journal reads
"The redcoats are over the hill they outnumber us 10:1 they have Artillery, Calvary and Grenadiers we have an army of Farmers and the odd veteran led by hope of a free Hellofad I will deliver it if it is the last thing I do. If I must fall on the battlefield for a free Hellofad and so be it what ever happens Hellofad will be free."
