Hello inquiring nations! Welcome to the Treaty Exchange Program for the Double State of Hyfling! The Hyfling Federal Government has decided it would like to expand international economic and scientific relations, we therefore, warmly invite you to engage in the exchange of treaties with our great nation. If you are interested in more information about Hyfling, please, visit our factbook here.

These treaties are legally binding contracts between the governments or councils of different nations, such treaties include: defense pacts, free trade documents, technology sharing treaties and open borders. In order to obtain a treaty with Hyfling, one must first construct an embassy in our nation. To do this, simply go to the Hyfling Embassy Program, and fill out the form.

The name 'double state' is derived from a nation with two capital cities, our secondary capital being the prestigious Green River district. Both of these cities are outfitted with the abilities to run the country, each is included with a parliament house, or the center of the Hyfling Federal Government. In the event of the capture or destruction of one capital, the other can immediately be taken over. Our current president is Taegan Smith, a 34 year old man from the city of Esterege, now living in the President's Villa, which is located in Yonwood.

Hyfling is a first world nation, global superpower and continental nation. With a booming economy in almost all sectors, as well as a moderately large military. Also environmentally stunning, it attracts a lot of tourism. Hyfling is a predominately capitalist economy, with features of a mixed economy, because of our dependence and prioritization on a strong economy, it is very difficult to get a free trade agreement with Hyfling.

If you have already built an embassy in Hyfling, and have never been at war with us, then you may enter treaty negotiations with us. Select any of the following treaties to fill out. Please fill out all currencies in USD please. When naming main industry, tourism doesn't count. Size of military counts as all active and reserve personnel.

These treaties are legally binding for as long either nation exists, but may be canceled for any reason as seen fit by either government.

A student exchange program is a government backed legislation in which students from high schools and institutions of higher learning (universities, colleges), may be exchanged for a student from abroad of similar age or education, allowing the students involved to expand their cultural outlooks. This treaty removes the need to acquire passports for the exchanges and generally cuts back on all necessary red tape surrounding this practice, as a show of good faith.

An open borders pact removes the clause, stating entrance to a nations borders as an act of war, as is follows in the Borders Act of 1976, page 32, section XVII 'Any foreign military vehicle entering Hyflings water or airspace, shall be considered an act of the declaration of war-' Hyfling is unlikely to go to war over a friendly or even neutral nation breaching its borders, but an enemy nation entering Hyfling's borders is considered a very serious threat. This treaty alleviates this threat.

A defense pact calls for the allying of nations in their times of need, this means if one nation participating in the treaty is attacked, the other nation/s will declare war on the attacker, and help defend each other. Providing medical and monetary aid when necessary. Your nation does not have to divulge information on WMDs if it so wishes.

A military pact calls for an alliance between two nations, helping defend and attack enemy nations. It differs from a defense pact in being that nations merely have to help their allies if an enemy nation attacks it. If you have a defense pact with Hyfling, and it attacks another nation, it does not necessarily mean war for you. This treaty, however, does. Forgetting all past friendships. Your nation does not have to divulge information on WMDs if it so wishes.

A free trade pact calls for the abolition or lowering of import tariffs between member nations, as has already been stated, due to Hyflings nature, it is difficult to enter free trade relations with it, so most requests will be turned down, as much for your protection as ours.
