Coalition Talks Begin

The Britannon People's Party has begun talks with the Green Party over a possible coalition, should neither party win the election by themselves. Talks are supposed to have begun well, and rumours that the National Socialist Party will also be invited are spreading.

The Conservatives, Libertarians and Reformists have also begun talks of a three party coalition, but no official comments have been made on any progress.

People's Party. I support them because they are Liberal minded Socialists who support Humanitarian aid to those in need. Basically they're good okes.

Left Wing Coalition Breaks Down

Coalition talks between the People's Party, Green Party and National Socialist Party broke down today after disagreement of taxation. With the Greens and National Socialists pushing for a incredibly high top rate, the People's Party ended negotiations. The possibility that Britanno old be without a government for a long time is becoming more likely.

New Socialist South Africa encourages the Left Coalition to resume talks and suggests that it set it's top tax rate at the neutral 67 o/o mark. This number has been reached by adding the three top rates together and then dividing them by three and rounding off (55 o/o + 70 o/o + 75 o/o = 200 o/o divided by 3 = 66.6 recurring. Rounded off to 67 o/o. You might want to check that as I did it without a calculator). New Socialist South Africa feels that the valuation of each of the parties top rates as equal will help show solidarity between the parties and will help the People's Party to convince their Coalition Allies to support those in desperate need through Humanitarian Aid (as some money from taxation can be given compassionately to those in need). New Socialist South Africa wishes the People's Party and the Left Coalition the very best of luck in the elections.
