Please give a brief description of your climate and geography: the geography varies as there is 10 different countries all under one banner. Rodstov, Grenoda, Domácí, Volograd, Dmitry-vikovsk, Goropovikovsk, Kislovo, Nalchikovsk, Vladikavka, and Grozno. however these countries share a similar geography. Ranging South west to North east is a slowly increasing Precambrian Igneous and high grade metamorphic rock aka a geological "shield" at the far end of the shield there is a mountain range stretching from the artic ocean down along the countries eastern border. This creates a series of ridge lines increasing in elevation until it reaches the foothills in the north east. Climate in the region allows for a hot short summer and a long snow and cold winter.

Please give a brief description of your national ethnicities and culture: Slavic/Russian speaking peoples have controlled this country since the 1900's fully removing the Arabian culture though it is still practiced in the mountains to the east.

Please give a brief description of your national history: Rodstov and Grenoda often called a melting pot of two unique cultures, has a long history of turbulence. Based on archaeological evidence, urban civilization began in the region between 3000 and 2000 BC. The first historical documents date from the early part of the the first Rodstovian Dynasty, which controlled the area from 550 BC until 331 BC.
Between 331 and 327 BC, A great civil war broke out which lasted several months which defeated the Emperor Sightus (a Grenodian) and squashed local resistance. Alexei the leader of the resistance and his successor, a female warrior by the name Novotná, brought Russo-Rostovian cultural influences to the region. Shortly thereafter, the Mauryan Empire gained control of southern Grenoda, bringing with it Buddhism. In the mid-third century BC, nomadic tribes of Kushan decent established an empire that became a cultural and commercial center (60s–375 AD). From the end of this kushan empire in the third century AD until the seventh century, the region was fragmented and under the general protection of the Novotnáian's that swept and united the northern regions creating the current province of Rodstov.

In 642 AD, Arabs raiders invaded the entire region and introduced Islam. Arab rule gave way to the Persians, who controlled the area until conquered by the Turkish radiers in 998. Following the short-lived dynasty, various princes attempted to rule sections of the country until the Mangolian rough riders invasion of 1219, led by Henghis. Following Henghis's death in 1227, a succession of petty chiefs and princes struggled for supremacy until late in the 14th century, when one of his descendants, Tamerians, incorporated both Rodstov and Grenoda into his own vast Asian empire.

In 1747, Hmad Ghah Rurrani unified the Pashtun tribes and created the Durrani Empire, which is considered the beginning of modern Grenoda. In the late 19th century, Grenoda became a buffer state controlled by the now defunct state of the Republic of New Mesa and Rodstov. On August 19, 1919, following the third Masian-Rodstovian war, the country of Grenoda regained full independence from the Republic of New Mesa.

A brief foray into democracy ended in a 1973 coup and a 1978 Communist counter-coup. The Slovik Union invaded in 1979 to support the frail Afghan Communist regime, sparking a long and destructive war. The USSR withdrew in 1989 under relentless pressure from internationally supported anti-Communist Grenodian rebels. After a subsequent series of civil wars, in 1996 Domácí, a large crossroads town that lay in between Rodstov and Grenoda fell to the mountain men from a long dead empire, a hard-line Islamic-sponsored movement that emerged in 1994 to end the country's civil war and anarchy. Following the September 11, 2001, The second Slovik Union attacked and successfully captured both provinces of the current country of United Armed Republic of Rodstov and Grenoda. This finally United the country under one banner however the people were still under a foreign regime.

In December 2004, Karel Malý, a Grenodian farmer led a revolt attacking a seizing weapons and arms from the Slovkian Armed Forces. With this and a united Grenodian Milita Karel led his forces north to capture Rodstov from the Slovkian's This is where he met Martina Novotná and her bodyguard Michal Petrina attempting to flee the Slovkian regime. She explained to Karel that she was a direct descendant of the original Rodstovian and Grenodian leader. She then asked Karel to retake Rodstov with her help. Martina was able to rally many Rodstovians and Grenodians to create the AFRG. This was also the first of the famous regiments were created. The First Czech Origin Rifles Division, made from the a combined Rodstovian and Grenodian Freedom Fighters.

After Summer 2009 after the War for Freedom had finished with the United Slovkian Santionist Republic (USSR) the Countries were finally free of outside power and the standard government was put into organized the country and its military under one flag. The federation was created a few years after when the USSR collapsed and the AFRG moved in.

Please give a brief description of your climate and geography: The north of the region is mountainous and has a temperate climate throughout the year. In the south, grasslands and jungles are prevalent, and only a few mountains dot the south-east coast. The climate there is tropical and prone to rain. Much of the country's food is grown in the south.

Please give a brief description of your national ethnicities and culture: The cultures that inhabit the Kiemtan region consist of a slight majority of Asian, Slavic and European cultures that have lived together over hundreds of years, and together have formed a creole of English that is special to the Kiem people. The socialist government in the North-East have tried to deport non-citizens back to their countries ever since its establishment in 1982, which remains a sticking point in the relationship between the two Governments.

Please give a brief description of your national history: The Kiem people have inhabited the region since 12 AD, after arriving from another continent in a mass exodus to escape persecution by the local Government. The Kiem are originally people with similar heritage to Chinese and Indochinese, the local people of Slavic and European descent took them in kindly, and soon enough the different cultures intermingled with one another more openly. In 82 AD, the Kiem established a small kingdom on the East coast of the current border, with the Or dynasty being the first recorded Kiem Government. The different cultures gradually became warmer to each other, and by 290 AD almost every family had a member from a different race.

In 544 AD, the first major threat to regional peace came with Slavic raiders from the Northern Frontiers. By this time, the Or dynasty had expanded the nation to its modern-day borders, and had a relative stable past. But the Slavic raiders, which caught the relatively small and under-equipped army off-guard, managed to sack and pillage much of Northern Kiemtan, leaving in their wake burnt villages and mass graves. The army eventually beat back the raiders, but the Kiem mobs had already lynched roughly 40,000 Slavs and their spouses, be they Slav or Kiem or European or not. Relations between Kiem and Slavs would not heal till the early 17th century.

Fast forward to modern times, the Kiemtan government has gone through many transitions, from Monarchy to Dictatorship, to Democracy to a short-lived Monarchy, and back to a Democracy. In 1955, a Valdian named Zachary Trevor caused a big fuss in the country's second largest city, Yu Twa, calling for a struggle movement against the democratic government. His exact motives are unknown, some people say that he was hired by Stasnovan Communists who thought that their government was not truly following the teachings of Marx, while others thought that he was a saboteur, while those who followed his call to arms called him a 'mini-messiah'; he preached the gospel of communism that any local villager could understand, and maybe also because he was shorter than average. The short-lived rebellion in the North-East lasted 4 months, after which those still loyal to his cause would retreat into the woods, coming out once in a while to harass the police with sniper fire. The success, or lack thereof, was to do with the rebel's lack of equipment, training, and most importantly, morale. It would not be 20 years until the first real threat to democracy in Kiemtan came.

It came in the form of a Communist group called the "Red Tide", operating from the Northern Highlands, supplied by 'outside sources', funded by 'investors' and a corrupt wing of the Kiem government. From the presidential palace in the Capitol Kiem, then President Loo Hiang Tam, hadn't a clue that deep in the mountains of the north, almost 6,000 trained militiamen had begun training sympathetic and like-minded villagers to fight against the government, their ideals of 'equality, brotherhood and bravery' reaching out to the poor, uneducated villagers of the mountains, which seemed a world better than the corrupt, thieving and aloof Kiem Government. As a matter of fact, President Loo hadn't been elected by the common folk; he had been instated by corporate leaders that had the government by its balls. By 1982, the Red Tide had trained enough men, was supplied well enough, and had the backing of many of the common people of the North-East, that they decided it was finally time to go on the offensive.

They attacked the local police station in the province of Chang, 800 guerrillas versus 40 policemen, a thoroughly one-sided affair. After that, having seized the initiative, 7,600 guerrillas surrounded the Barracks of a local battalion; letting the battalion go free after they handed over all their weaponry and supplies. With the destruction of any local government infrastructure within 200 kilometers, many of the villagers, whether they liked it or not, were automatically members of the revolution, either militarily or through other means, such as supply, or training. Having sprouted the revolution in the province, it was no doubt to the villagers that, even if they were not linked to the communists, the central government in Kiem would probably indiscriminately bomb their villagers and imprison their relatives, should they come back to the province. The capitol of Chang, Jang-Tu, was immediately made into the capitol of the communist movement, and by the next day had established the "Socialist Republic of Kiem Rouge", or Red Kiem.

Although not necessarily better equipped, they certainly had a higher esprit de corps than the Republic of Kiemtan Army (RKA), and in 10 years had conquered much of north-east Kiemtan all the way to the western seaboard, to the province of Seelow. In a brief moment of Victory, the RKA had managed to cut off Seelow from the rest of the Socialist Republic, though the same could be said about the Government province of Kungtow, that from 1988, had been cut off from the central Government, with the only supplies trickling through from the seas and air, even then only half of all aid sent reached Kungtow, what with the crippling corruption so rampant maybe not on Kiem level, but certainly on the provincial level. The Kungtow Pocket had a force of 30,000 RKA personnel, versus an entire Army corps of the Socialist Republic. In 1999, the two governments, after years of stalemate, managed to broker a truce, which was to last for 16 years. Premier Tan Khim Saw of the Kiem Rouge and President Jimmy Suong of Kiemtan signed an uneasy truce aboard the Republic of Kiemtan Navy battleship Hwee Dan. The truce was known as the 'Treaty of Hwee', and would be followed by both sides for a few more years. In 2006, it was discovered that the Socialist Republic transported supplies through Zolevskoy illegally, by means of truck, car, or plane, to go around the general trade embargo that has been placed on the Socialist Republic.

In 2014, rampant corruption in the central government and a slowing economy have brought the Republic to its knees. After vote-rigging and bribery, President Jimmy Suong had got himself 4 terms in office since the signing of the Truce, and without a single care for the people of Kiemtan, it was a wonder how he'd won. Along the DMZ between the two states, action was picking up. Although it was common for desultory sniper fire from both sides to target the other, the never escalated to a fire fight. On a Saturday in July of 2014, however, an RKA patrol had fired an RPG at another patrol on the other side of the fence, with 2 dead and 6 wounded. In retaliation, the People's Red Army (PRA) had fired artillery at a government office building 17 kilometers away from the DMZ. Though there were only minor injuries, the building was leveled. The tit-for-tat action was also common, though now it hadn't stopped. One side would escalate, the other side would oblige by taking a step up, and it culminated in September of the same year, when the RKA bombed a village on the communist side of the DMZ, killing 26 villagers. With that the action died down, until the 13th September of 2015, when PRA saboteurs blew up a power station in the Capitol, causing a total loss of power across 6 of the 8 districts of the Capitol for 5 days. The Kiem Rouge government vowed 'greater action' in the coming months, to which the RKA had responded with increasing the readiness of their troops.

With the PRA and RKA massing on the DMZ, both sides are poised for war.

The parties of Kiemtan cannot get together, and the political deadlock of the Parliament has earned the ire of many of the commoners, who think that the central government cannot get jack done. In the Kiem Rouge, it is almost the opposite. The government has the support of much of the people, and are able, probably due to the fact that all acts are unanimously agreed upon by the proletariat, to get stuff done. However, they clamp down on the personal freedoms of the people, who work for the government for relatively low wages.

Please give a brief description of your climate and geography: In Banija, it almost always seems to be Summer. Banija tends to have both very long summers and lots of rain due to the region being that of a tropical rainforest. There is a large tropical rainforest that covers almost 33% of Banija's land area, all in the East, and extends beyond Banija's borders. It is one of the largest in Atlas, and called the Baanyala RainForest. There is large political debate on whether or not to cut down rainforest for development, as the Bahariyan Empire cut much of it down for development within the region. Even though the trees are gone, the rest of the country has the climate of a rainforest that used to run throughout the vast majority of the present-day borders of the country.

Please give a brief description of your national ethnicities and culture: Banija is an African-modeled nation. Therefore, due to a lack of immigration and a history giving the rise of modern-day Banija, there are two major ethnicities within the country. One, the dominant majority, are the Bantu people. They comprise, by some estimates almost 70% of the national population. The Kabaka is a Bantu title, and that lineage is strictly Bantu, from the ancient tribe of the Kasanke people. They have always been fiercely proud people, and led the fight for independence from the Bahariyan Empire in the early 1900s.

The major minority, comprising most of the rest of the nation, are the Kanuri people. They tend to live in Southern Banija, towards the Southern Lakes Region. They were traditionally separated from the Bantu people pre-colonization, as they were more agricultural and never had any desires to move north towards the sea. They comprise just over 1/4 of the population, or around 25% of the country. There have been conflicts between the Bantu peoples and the Kanuri peoples in the past, especially just after independence. The Kanuri people were seen as collobarators with the Bahariyan Empire, and it has been seen clearly the influence in Southern Banija vs. the influence of the Bahariyans in the rest of the Kingdom of Banija. The Kanuri people tend to be largely Muslim, while the Bantu population tended to stick towards a local variant of Mormonism, called the Reformed Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

In terms of race, the nation is over 95% black, as both the Kanuri people and the Bantu people are black. The rest of the population is non-native to Banija, and a mixture of races, living mostly in cities along the Northern coastline of Banija.

Please give a brief description of your national history: The Kingdom of Banija was officially formed in 1907, upon independence from the Bahariyan Empire. The people and the land have a long history before independence however.

In 1215 was the first recording of anything from the Kasanke tribe. They named their first leader a "Kabaka", and that moment is what many seem to believe is the beginning of the history of Banija. They were a small tribe, located in present-day Northwest Banija on the coast, but they were the most aggressive tribe in the region. There were about 9 tribes living in the region, but over the course of the centuries, the Kasanke people would keep driving Eastward. Eventually, they would reach their limit conquering and incorporating all of the tribes within the region besides the Kanuri people. They were at that size until the mid 1700s, when their island neighbors to the north, the Bahariyan Empire, decided to move South and conquer land on their continent.

It was a long slog, but the Bahariyans were able to do something that the Bantu people could never do- conquer the Kanuri people. They were the first ones to unify the current borders of Banija, as it was the colonial name given to them by the Bahariyan Empire. And for well over 100 years, the Banijan Colony existed for service to the Bahariyan Empire. They colloborated well with the Kanuri people, who often filled the barracks as the soldiers of the Bahariyan Empire, and helped put down rebellions put on by the proud Bantu peoples, the most famous of which being the Busukuma Riots of 1872.

In early 1900 though, the cracks were already showing in the Bahariyan Empire. The Bahariyan Empire was shrinking, it was reeling due to pressure both at home and attempting to maintain its colonies, and it finally cracked under the pressure. A 2 year War of Independence was launched in 1904, and very controversially, the pretender to the throne of the Kabaka led the uprising to establish the Kingdom of Banija, under the authority of the Kasanke Tribe.

After independence was gained, civil war quickly broke out on a regional basis in Banija. The Kanuri people of the South also wished to keep their traditions and their leadership, while the Bantu people had very little sympathy with people they believed to be corroborators with the Bahariyans. The civil war was eventually won by the Bantu peoples, and it was decided the institutions of the Kasanke Tribe would be chosen to be the institutions of the Kingdom of Banija, the brand new nation. So while the Kanuri people lost a lot, they were able to gain a constititution where their rights would be protected and they would not be discriminated against as a people.

The Monarch has the sole prerogative over defense & foreign affairs, and only answers to the Lukiiko(Parliament) via their role as the controllers of the power of the purse. Domestic affairs are the sovereign role of the elected Parliament, who elects a Katikkiro(Prime Minister) who must then appoint a cabinet, with the Foreign Minister and Minister of Defense being appointed directly by the Kabaka(King).

How would you describe the political climate in your nation?: There is a two party dominant multiparty system in Banija, similar to the RL United Kingdom. The traditional left/right divisions in any democracy are present in Banija, though due to the religious diversity of the nation, there is not much xenophobia regarding religion.

However, there is plenty regarding race. While Banija has relatively relaxed immigration laws, they have harsh citizenship laws. To be born a citizen, you must have a parent with citizenship. Jus Soli is granted to children of non-citizens if both parents are legal permanent residents. If one is a permanent resident and the other is not, the child is not eligible for citizenship by birth.

Major social issues are the LGBT movement. The movement is growing and fledging within Banija, though they have not made much headway with Banija's laws. Economic development is always an important discussion, as Banija is considered to be a 3rd world nation, and many are eager to use the country's natural resources to spur economic development, and help advance from the 3rd world to the 1st world.

Please give a brief description of your national ethnicities and culture: Banija is an African-modeled nation. Therefore, due to a lack of immigration and a history giving the rise of modern-day Banija, there are two major ethnicities within the country. One, the dominant majority, are the Bantu people. They comprise, by some estimates almost 70% of the national population. The Kabaka is a Bantu title, and that lineage is strictly Bantu, from the ancient tribe of the Kasanke people. They have always been fiercely proud people, and led the fight for independence from the Bahariyan Empire in the early 1900s.

The major minority, comprising most of the rest of the nation, are the Kanuri people. They tend to live in Southern Banija, towards the Southern Lakes Region. They were traditionally separated from the Bantu people pre-colonization, as they were more agricultural and never had any desires to move north towards the sea. They comprise just over 1/4 of the population, or around 25% of the country. There have been conflicts between the Bantu peoples and the Kanuri peoples in the past, especially just after independence. The Kanuri people were seen as collobarators with the Bahariyan Empire, and it has been seen clearly the influence in Southern Banija vs. the influence of the Bahariyans in the rest of the Kingdom of Banija. The Kanuri people tend to be largely Muslim, while the Bantu population tended to stick towards a local variant of Mormonism, called the Reformed Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

In terms of race, the nation is over 95% black, as both the Kanuri people and the Bantu people are black. The rest of the population is non-native to Banija, and a mixture of races, living mostly in cities along the Northern coastline of Banija.

Please give a brief description of your national history: The Kingdom of Banija was officially formed in 1907, upon independence from the Bahariyan Empire. The people and the land have a long history before independence however.

In 1215 was the first recording of anything from the Kasanke tribe. They named their first leader a "Kabaka", and that moment is what many seem to believe is the beginning of the history of Banija. They were a small tribe, located in present-day Northwest Banija on the coast, but they were the most aggressive tribe in the region. There were about 9 tribes living in the region, but over the course of the centuries, the Kasanke people would keep driving Eastward. Eventually, they would reach their limit conquering and incorporating all of the tribes within the region besides the Kanuri people. They were at that size until the mid 1700s, when their island neighbors to the north, the Bahariyan Empire, decided to move South and conquer land on their continent.

It was a long slog, but the Bahariyans were able to do something that the Bantu people could never do- conquer the Kanuri people. They were the first ones to unify the current borders of Banija, as it was the colonial name given to them by the Bahariyan Empire. And for well over 100 years, the Banijan Colony existed for service to the Bahariyan Empire. They colloborated well with the Kanuri people, who often filled the barracks as the soldiers of the Bahariyan Empire, and helped put down rebellions put on by the proud Bantu peoples, the most famous of which being the Busukuma Riots of 1872.

In early 1900 though, the cracks were already showing in the Bahariyan Empire. The Bahariyan Empire was shrinking, it was reeling due to pressure both at home and attempting to maintain its colonies, and it finally cracked under the pressure. A 2 year War of Independence was launched in 1904, and very controversially, the pretender to the throne of the Kabaka led the uprising to establish the Kingdom of Banija, under the authority of the Kasanke Tribe.

After independence was gained, civil war quickly broke out on a regional basis in Banija. The Kanuri people of the South also wished to keep their traditions and their leadership, while the Bantu people had very little sympathy with people they believed to be corroborators with the Bahariyans. The civil war was eventually won by the Bantu peoples, and it was decided the institutions of the Kasanke Tribe would be chosen to be the institutions of the Kingdom of Banija, the brand new nation. So while the Kanuri people lost a lot, they were able to gain a constititution where their rights would be protected and they would not be discriminated against as a people.

The Monarch has the sole prerogative over defense & foreign affairs, and only answers to the Lukiiko(Parliament) via their role as the controllers of the power of the purse. Domestic affairs are the sovereign role of the elected Parliament, who elects a Katikkiro(Prime Minister) who must then appoint a cabinet, with the Foreign Minister and Minister of Defense being appointed directly by the Kabaka(King).

How would you describe the political climate in your nation?: There is a two party dominant multiparty system in Banija, similar to the RL United Kingdom. The traditional left/right divisions in any democracy are present in Banija, though due to the religious diversity of the nation, there is not much xenophobia regarding religion.

However, there is plenty regarding race. While Banija has relatively relaxed immigration laws, they have harsh citizenship laws. To be born a citizen, you must have a parent with citizenship. Jus Soli is granted to children of non-citizens if both parents are legal permanent residents. If one is a permanent resident and the other is not, the child is not eligible for citizenship by birth.

Major social issues are the LGBT movement. The movement is growing and fledging within Banija, though they have not made much headway with Banija's laws. Economic development is always an important discussion, as Banija is considered to be a 3rd world nation, and many are eager to use the country's natural resources to spur economic development, and help advance from the 3rd world to the 1st world.
