Thank you for the clarification about populations. I'll use, if allowed, the 43,000,000. The reason for this is that my country is based on Afghanistan, though given the size of even supposedly 'realistic' population based nations, I would imagine that a bit of an increase would be reasonable. It's still less than Pakistan!

The quiet air of the valley seemed to calm him, take his mind back home and far away from the horrors of conflict. The gently lapping of bathwater in the summer time and the loving voice of his mother.

"INCOMING!" A voice cried, and Gunther was on his feet. There, before the unit, was a tank battalion as it slowly traced along the narrow roads of the valley. One man in the distance stood as well and soon a trail of smoke burst from his shoulder-mounted launcher. The lead tank exploded violently, chugging onward just a few feet before coming to a grinding halt. The hatch above burst open, Gunther knew what to do. He raised his rifle and fired, a man dropped. Two more went running out, Gunther took aim.

"Gun turning!" The voice cried, Gunthr continued to follow the two, a second shot, another man down. The earth then shook, his ears held only silence and ringing as the world next to him exploded into dirt and smoke. He turned to see their rocker launching soldier gone as the tank turned for a second blast. Gunther dropped his rifle.

"Retreat! Fall Back! We need reinforcements!" The tank made a loud boom sound and the commanding officer vanished, like the rocket launcher, into smoke and red mist. Gunter turned and began running. There was no chance of success now.

As soon as Al-Halil, the leader of South Essetia arrived they started the conversation. "Where have you been sir? I've been waiting quite a time here. The civil war must end now. We can discuss the terms if you'd like." said the Prince, he was quite anxious, it was his first diplomatic encounter with someone. Al-Halil replied "We want some terms, autonomy at least, mark the small area of the South Essetian tribes that live throught the nation. We do want you to supply us with arms for our defence against intruders, we will need Estenian high rankers of the army to help us, Generals, commanders and even you, your highness." the Prince replied "Well, I can sure bring you these, since my father has given me permission to allow you everything you'll ask. You can have autonomy, you can have high rankers within your military, generals and other officers. I am willing to help you thrive as a strong autonomous nation. I can't wait." "Good, I guess we have a deal." said Al-Halil as he stretched his hand to Prince Esutrat's hand, with the latter one shaking and thus making the Treaty of Sternoburg in 1892 to stop the 5th Estenian-South Ossetian war.
