It is most likely a table where the first row are the images of the cities and the second row is for the names.

I suspect
Code: Select all
[Table][tr][td][img][/img][/td][td][img][/img][/td][td][img][/img][/td][td][img][/img][/td][td][img][/img][/td][/tr]
[tr][td]Name 1[/td][td]Name 2[/td][td]Name 3[/td][td]Name 4[/td][td]Name 5[/td][/tr][/Table]

where you put the image URLs inside the [img] tags (make sure they're all the same height and width, you can resize images through MS Paint and Pixlr or the edit functions of imgur and Photobucket).

You mean like to actually make a table? Ok, to make a table for both forums and factbooks you just need to use the [table] tags.

Code: Select all
[table][/table]

Now formating the table itself is a bit difficult, so follow closely. To spawn a new row in your table you need to put the tags [tr] in between the [table] tags.

Code: Select all
[table][tr][/tr][/table]

Then depending on how many cells you want for your row, you put the appropriate amount of [td] tags in between the [tr] tags, for example in that picture you see that there are 4 cities displayed in that factbook, so we must put four new [td] tags in the code to create four cells per row.

Code: Select all
[table][tr][td][/td][td][/td][td][/td][td][/td][/tr][/table]

Now to actually put the content you want in your table you just type what you want in between the [td] tags. In the case of the table in the screenshot, it was images of the city, so the code would look something like this.

Code: Select all
[table][tr][td](img code here)[/td][td](img code here)[/td][td](img code here)[/td][td](img code here)[/td][/tr][/table]

Now you have your first row. To create your second row you just put a new set of [tr] tags in front of the first one and repeat the steps above. This time you would fill in the names of the images from the first row.

Code: Select all
[table][tr][td](img code here)[/td][td](img code here)[/td][td](img code here)[/td][td](img code here)[/td][/tr][tr][td](name here)[/td][td](name here)[/td][td](name here)[/td][td](name here)[/td][/tr][/table]

And that is how you make a table. I did this long explanation so hopefully you can use the [table] code to do what ever you want with them. Something you should know about them though is that the first row of tables in factbooks always have a grey background, don't know why but that is the way it is. Anyways, have fun.

EDIT: ...Or just look at what that dastardly bastardly ninja did above. Curse you making me look like a fool! *shakes fist* :p

I am assuming that you used the tags, right? Well, that is not what you wanna use to get an image displayed in a factbook. Lemme show you an example.Say I wanted to use a certain picture in a factbook. If we use the [url] tags like below...

Code: Select all
[url]http://www.issuesandalibis.org/onObamaWeekly.jpg[/url]

But if we use the [img] tags as shown below...

Code: Select all
[img]http://www.issuesandalibis.org/onObamaWeekly.jpg[/img]

As for why this isn't easier?

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Just the way it is.

Um, this is always right at the top of the F&NI forum, so you shouldn't have any trouble finding this...

Tagging (basically what you just did- posting a comment just to have it show up in your "View Your Posts" page) is considered spam, so try not to do it.

Weird, cause the coding seems fine. Maybe it's a bug?

What size would you recommend I resize my flag and map to, such that they properly fit into the sidebar?

The way I've currently got them, they take up the entire page at the top, and I'd like to fix that.

I think a width of about 250 pixels should be the right size. Are you planning to re size them yourself?
