For the first time in it's short history the monarchy of Datsh has decided to abdicate power in favour of a democratic government unicameral legislature type. Parliament will contain 89 seats. Each party who gets a percentage of the vote will get a corresponding share of the seats in parliament. The only parties that have declared to be running candidates are as follows:

The Datsh Solidarity Party- State Ownership of Industry, limits on wealth, wealth distribution.
The Liberal Party- Free Trade, secularism, political freedoms.
Fascist Party- single party state, dictatorship, militarism.
Labour Party- Welfare state, social contract, secularism, workers rights.
Conservative Party- Tradition, centrism, family values, strong national religion & Church state relations
Non Party- local representation

[Austro-German Prussia]

The Lords of Austro-German Prussia are flocking to the conservative leaders of Datsh in a series of private meetings. It is assumed they are handing over a lot of funds, as many of them came out with rather glazed looks on their faces.

"We are just ensuring that the Conservative Party of Datsh is open to free-market principles!" says Archduke Karl XII of Innsbruck, while shining his monocle. "I can assure you that as soon as the markets open up, factories owned by Bavarian Beef and Schnapps-"

"Unless Posen Beef and Schnapps opens ours first!" shouted Archduke Karlmann VIII of Breslau, while fondling the strap of his large top hat. "We are willing to offer the finest meats for the lowest of prices! Make sure that when you buy, you buy Posen Beef and Schnapps!"


It appears that Austro-German Prussia hopes to get a bite out of the labor force of Datsh.

"I have always liked the Datsh," began Archduke Karlmann of East Prussia, "And I'm sure they are willing to let us boost their economies!"

The Dissolution of Monarchy Act

Purpose- To provide for the dissolution of Monarchy and replacement with a democratically elected government as per the wishes to the people of Datsh.

SECTION 1
Recognising the will of the people:-
1.1 This Act dissolves the Monarchy in its entirety.
1.2 All members of the Monarchy shall be credited a lump sum not exceeding 100,000 Datsh Marks, to be determined by a new independent Compensation Commission.
1.3 Compensation shall be determined by the Commission based on the role each living member of the Monarchy played in the governance of the state since it foundation.
1.4 All Armed Forces under the command of the Monarchy shall pledge allegiance to the newly elected government as soon as this Act comes into force.

SECTION 2
Granting of powers to the government.
2.1 The new government shall assume the role formerly occupied by the Monarchy as soon as it is sworn into power.
2.2 They shall hold powers of governance and control of the Armed Forces in trust for the people of Datsh.
2.3 The new government shall have the power to draft a new constitution for the state for approval by the people in the form of a referendum.
2.4 This Act will become law once signed by the Head of State.
2.5 The provisions contained within this Act shall come into force as soon as the new elected government is sworn into office.

John Hubbard, the Conservative Party Leader, emerged onto the steps of the Royal Palace his closest aides at his side. The media and people thronged to see what the result of the talks post election had come to.

"I am pleased to announce that we have been able to form a government. This government will be composed of ourselves the Conservative Party, the Labour Party and six non Party representatives. We hope that the poeple will accept these results and allow us to govern the country. During our term we hope to impress upon the people core values of family, respect of tradition, the need for a strong relationship with the Catholic Church, and finally a society that looks after it's very weakest. That concludes our statement to the nation, we look forward to the canvening of Parliament very shortly."

Already, several Austro-German Prussians have began allocating lands for large, all-consuming, environment-polluting factories in the countryside. Naturally, they will open them as soon as optimal conditions are met - such as abolition of minimum wage laws. Already the cost can be seen as forests are being torn down to make room for the large competitive industry. Jobs will fill the nation, and unemployment will most certainly not be a problem!
