Or you can operate like modern tanks and take R&C's suggestion of just short-tracking it. If you're barely mobile, you're still a target. And electric motors and their connectors are also rather heavy, especially now that you need four rather than two.

1 twin diesel, 4 Electric motors, the Diesel is a 1700 HP Motor scratch that probably close to 2000 due to the much hightened O2 content, if it has a lack of power something is severely wrong

And instead you've increased the frontal area and reduced its ability to navigate in tighter confines. You don't just get to say 'I widened the tracks' without any trade-offs. Otherwise every tank IRL would have 900+ mm treads and ground pressure would not be an issue for designers to consider at all.
