You're going in the right direction - it looks good!

Tank hulls are very often the subject of potential conversions for the use of the Combat Engineers, especially because:
1) They have tank components, so the tank maintenance crew can fix 'em, and they'll keep up with the sluggers.
2) More armored than a militarized civilian dozer. Just right for smashing through defensive earthworks while under fire.
3) Can bust up a minefield like nobody's business, especially if you mount a MICLIC (Mine Clearing Line Charge) projector on it.
4) Can still carry guns, for self-protection, or to blow shit up (like the 165mm demolition gun on the M728 CEV).

Excellent. I was worried there might be something wrong with the hydraulics, but if you say it's alright I'm rollin' with it.

Added a bit of shading to the tank, to make it look prettier. I like how I did the windows on the commander's mini-turret, and along the gun barrel.



I also went into Paint.NET to remove the white BG and make the windows a little transparent, for that extra touch. It's probably too small to notice, though. I just threw it together in 30 minutes. I'm about to hop back onto a game with some buddies.

Every time the tank looks fine and I can't tell what was changed.

I made the turret radically smaller, changed the sideskirts, changed the cupola, changed the glacis and frontal mud guards to make them less T-80, changed the position of the gunners hatch, changed the length of the gun, changed the turrets frontal ERA/spaced armor array, removed the turrets rear gear rack, messed about with ERA etc

I'd attempt it, but my plate is full enough as it is and wouldn't be able to touch it anytime soon.
