I must admit that I adore landsknecht hats, they are awesome as can be. However... the rest of their clothes just keep rubbing me the wrong way, not entirely sure why because they are flamboyant, bright and ornate, everything you should love about uniforms! But still there is just something about them....

Yeah those are all good reasons, I would actually think the pattern of them and the lack assymetry might be the biggest issues.
Besides, it is especially obvious when you know that us Swedes looked much cooler.

Rejoining the thread with an example of equipment in use by the Military Transportation Service, a U-10 Fusion Drive railyard switcher.
Due to the far reaches of territory GEAR 1 needs to defend, a network of government owned railroads operates with and beyond the central network used for civilian and commercial purposes. Many far-flung frontier posts can be reached by rail, enabling rapid re-supply and deployment of combat assets to their GDP's (General Deployment Positions) upon the issue of an alert. The U-10 is among the fleet of small locomotives that assemble military (or civilian) consists in the Zone of the Interior prior to military movement along the MSR's (Main Supply Routes) and Frontier Routes.
(Example U-10 includes a member of the GEAR 1 Air Force Special Operations Command, a Joint Terminal Attack Controller, hitching a short ride.)

Anyway, very nice art, I had been following your stuff on Paper Soldiers forum, I would like for Paper Soldiers to make a comeback, it still has it's place as a dedicated place for any spillover, RPs, long developing threads, oversized images etc.
On an Armored Battalion only having 2 Tank Companies: I hope they have 6 Platoons each.
On your Cavalry units being Recon, Surveillance, and Target Acquisition: I posted two links and paragraphs of words to explain to the people on here that that is the purpose of Cavalry and they thought I was crazy.
