Eastern European pop music, rock and metal are popular. Electronic music and country have decent sized followings. Rap and hip-hop are almost non-existent.

Pop music is most popular in Waspeaters, but it is often remarked by foreigners that the Waspeaterians' taste in music is rather cheesy and outdated. They don't seem to mind, though. Other somewhat popular (although still fairly niche) genres include classical and traditional/folk music.

Classical, March Music, Jazz, Classic (i.e. 50s and 60s) Rock, and Traditional Pop are all the most predominant, especially among the older citizens.

Of course, Metal, Techno, Industrial, and even some Samba are gaining favor with younger people. Although some do like the music enjoyed by the older citizens.
