Currently the coalition between the Christian Democrats and the Civic Union parties with 126 out of 246 seats in the lower house and 12 out of 22 seats in the lower house and about 13 out of 22 governorships in the nation plus the presidency held by the Christian Democrats. Although with general elections coming up many suspect that the United Peoples Party will come out on top.
