Mostly made up of former Democratic Socialists Party (DemSocs) politicians prior to the 2011-2012 constitutional crisis concerning the banning of political parties. Extremely popular with working-class and middle class. Touts struggle against the rich as its main ideal. Supports progressive taxes, state-run healthcare, government housing, civil rights for minorities and LGBT, believes in implementing "green" policies. Was for integrating Maolutiania into Beiluxia during the Crisis with Maxtopia. Formed a majority coalition government with Océan after the 8 Feb 2013 early general election.


Islanders 42 Lords, 7 Senators
Conservative
Mostly made up of former Native Islanders Party (NIP) politicians prior to the constitutional crisis. Popular with the rich and those opposed to change. Against Alliance's progressive ideology. Wants to maintain old social order with native Beiluxians first, against same rights for minorities and LGBT. Against integrating Maolutiania with Beiluxia, wants to create Maolutiania to become a "colonial possession". For free market, less government housing, more private healthcare, less government intervention, against alternative energy.


Océan 30 Lords, 4 Senators
Centrist/French-Nationalism
Mostly made up of former Parti Océan politicians prior to the constitutional crisis. Popular within the Océan Provinses and French Beiluxians. For teaching French mandatory in public schools outside Océan Provinses. Wants better relations between France and Beiluxia. Neutral to other minorities and LGBT, advocates same-sex marriage. For preserving fading French culture within Océan Provinses, for more alternative energy in Océan Provinses. Océan is an important swing-party, and aligns with either Islanders or Alliance at times. Formed a majority coalition government with Alliance after the 8 Feb 2013 early general election.

Slafstopia has three parties; the Communist Defense Party, the Nationalist Offensive Party, and the Fascists. Since the NOP and the Fascists are quite into warmongering, the CDP, which holds a less hostile stance, is normally elected, and is currently in power. This is rather unfortunate for the Slafstopians, since they have to choose between peace & oppression, war & nationalism, and war & oppression, none of which seem ideal.
