now it's nice if these weapons have more power and range than an SMG but still remain compact. it's all situational issues It's nice to have a short compact weapon that is capable of reaching out further than a SMG . I like the PDR.... A lot and would love to see it manufactured and chambered in .300 AC, 7.62X39 and 5.45X39.

The specifications need to be looked over - 4.7/5.3 pounds for an assault rifle, and 4.2 pounds for a LMG, are super-low. The prices might need double checking (the K-10 most notably, being $600 NSD for high-quality and all milled components.) I don't know what that translates to in USD, but it does seem a bit hopeful (even if it's CNC.)

What's the point of smoothbore barrels? Keyholing isn't optimal.
There's some minor errors that could be fixed by proof-reading, too. (using new innovative technologies in there [their] weapons)

Word choice and order for some statements come out awkward.

A PDW is basically a shorter carbine.

Pistol --> PDW --> Carbine --> Rifle

It's been universally established that 1 NSD = 1 Universal Standard Dollar.

Can you use smaller bullets in a bigger cartridge case with a sabot for close-range work?

E.g.: Suppose I issued 7.62 NATO rifles to everyone. How plausible would it be for them to fire saboted 5.56 NATO? (obviously it would be like firing through a smoothbore)

Real life already beat you to that.


I'm not sure what the smaller bullet is, but the casing is obviously of .30 Tokarev. There's no real reason you couldn't sabot a .308 NATO using .223 OTAN bullets, but sabots are usually much smaller (~3-4mm).

There's no real reason you couldn't sabot a .308 NATO using .223 OTAN bullets, but sabots are usually much smaller (~3-4mm).

They have made 7.62 SLAP rounds with 5.56 bullets before. Also, pick either NATO or OTAN, don't use both ffs.

Remington makes the a sabot for putting a .224 bullet in a .30. They're claiming 4,200 FPS for a .30-06.

It seems like a neat idea for using Pa's .30-30 as a squirrel rifle, but it pretty much renders it as a single shot -.-
