Common stereotypes of Bulgislavian citizens:

That all women wear drag 1950's style dresses and men wear plain white tops and black pants (This was true in Bulgislavia's Stalinist era up to 2010 due to a very limited and restrictive state controlled fashion industry)

That all Bulgislavian's are gaunt and malnourished (this steriotype mainly spread after the horrific famine of the 90's and persists up to the current day)

That Bulgislavian's are brainwashed communists (in reality there is a diversity of political beliefs and faiths)

That Bulgislavian's know nothing of the outside world (Once again this only true up to about 2009 when outside material began to make its way into the country despite repressive measures to curb such materials)

That most Bulgislavian's are alcoholics (Alcoholism is a problem but not as bad as most outsiders believe)

so pretty much a standard steriotype of a Bulgislavian is:

incorrect:
A common misconception is that we're primitive because we don't use fossil fuels and don't cut trees, however we rely heavily on wind and solar to generate our energy, so we're not really that far behind the rest of the world.
Since we are reluctant to kill any living thing for anything deemed luxury, some think that we are a nation of vegetarians, however we do consume meat which has been raised and dies of natural causes (though this practice does make meat a rare delicacy in our state).
