Depends on the caste, the culture, the region of the Empire, the age group, religion and so on.

Traditional clothing is still quite popular. A number of people prefer it to "modern" style dress, and most people wear it on holidays.

Traditionally, Xeklivian civilians wore suits of black and golden armor accented with maroon-colored fabrics. They typically wore turbans, scarves and cloth masks of a very dark brown-colored fabric, almost black. Their faces were adorned with masks of pure gold, with the engravings and style of the mask varying between families. This garment was to protect against the extremely harsh elements of the Erez'Ohir desert, which was the seat of the empire at that time, and is why the outfits are so heavily armored (Although still not as protective as military versions) for civilian clothing.

Another version, this worn by a caravan guard armed with an early rifle

Xeklivian warriors had a much more regal look than the Civilians, even basic militiamen and footsoldiers. Their armor isn't actually made of solid gold, but instead a gold-colored metal almost as strong as Steel and nearly half the weight known as Zephrite, which was in extreme abundance at the time and is why most Xeklivian equipment, clothing, weaponry etc. of that period is so royal and regal in appearance. Typical warrior armor was a coat of silvery chain and sometimes scale-mail which had multiple layers of plated armor on top, typically with a cloak or kama of dark-red or jet black fabrics as an accessory, and a pair of tabi worn on the feet. The weaponry was typically a forward-curving blade and a Zephrite shield which was adorned with various trinkets, beads, fetishes etc. which showed off the Xeklivian's tribal and nomadic nature. Some warrior types were equipped with a bow and a rear-curving blade, with no shield.

Millenia before, in the years that Xeklivians we're still rebelling against the Kighath Dynasty, Xeklivian's were much more primal, primitive, and feral. Civilians typically wore little clothing, due to the temperate climate of the Kighath territory, with only a loincloth to hide their 'private areas.' Warriors wore makeshift armor of black plates on top of various pelts and animal furs.

Just your average divine gaseous being encased in a chitinous shell of forged ash. Don't hit on me, silly mortalflames! I advocate fuedalism.

ankle length t-tunics with lots and lots of pockets are the favored attire for adults and children of all species and genders, that is when we wear anything at all. most of us have too much fur to be comfortable wearing anything other then utility belts with lots of pockets to carry things, or back packs. but for reptiloids and others not protected with fur or feathers, then, its t-tunics with pockets. pockets to carry stuff is the main reason for cameroi to wear anything. and we do like to have all kinds of stuff with us. whole tool shops and research labs if we could. so we always have tons of all kinds of esotiric high tec gadgets in our pocketses.
truth isn't what i say. isn't what you say. isn't what anybody says. truth is what is there, when no one is saying anything.
