Information about Ambassador (optional; may be short): Born to a Cedar diplomat and a Moorburgher cultural attache, Ryan was born straight into the thrilling, exotic world of international relations. At first he travelled with his parents on their diplomatic missions, mainly raised by stern governnesses. In his adolescence he was sent back to Cedarwood to attend school. Taking after his father in his cynicism, alcoholism, womanising and enthusiasm for collecting rare candles, Ryan was accepted immediately into the bosom of Cedarwood's elite private education system, attending only the best schools in the country before being kicked out of almost all of them for drunkenness and/or sneaking into the various neighbouring girl's academies. Ryan somehow graduated and gained entrance into the University of Redwood, where he buckled down for years, sort of, and barely managed a degree in journalism. He then got a doctorate in it for some reason. When he left university, his country having no jobs to speak of at the time, Ryan joined the army as an NCO and served in various bases in countries at peace all around the world. After realising that the real international conflicts were actually in diplomacy, Ryan joined the Diplomatic Corps and worked his way up to ambassador.
