State Visit to Gillenor by President Feld of West Cedarbrook

Today marks the start of West Cedarbrook’s state visit to Gillenor, this morning President Feld arrived in Osserhaim and was lead by a motorcade to the Fredhelmstrasse near St Michael’s Palace (The Gillenorian Parliament building) to meet with Prime Minister Amadeus Firedancer. The topics on discussion between the two premiers are not known to the public, however are most likely trade and defence.
President Feld then delivered a speech at a conference with Prime Minister Firedancer. There he discussed the various challenges the two nations face such as trade, the fight against Communism and tackling money laundering.

Here is a transcript of the speech:

” Mr. Prime Minister, Members of the Press:

I am grateful for your welcome and for that of your countrymen.

Our two nations have long abided in friendship, and in the prosperity built through their ingenuity, hard work, and resourcefullness. We have seen that prosperity blossom
recently throughout our regions, realatively untroubled by the strife of war, disease and famine. West Cedarbrook and the other nations of the world are now investing their capital
as well as their hopes for a better future here in Gillenor. Gillenor and West Cedarbrook both will share in the world prosperity brought about by our fully modern economies.

But prosperity is not enough. In the words of our 19th century jurist, Robert Laclede, when reviewing the first twenty years of our nation,
denounced those who were satisfied merely by new grants of economic opportunity. "Under our Constitution the boundaries of freedom have been enlarged, the foundations of order and peace
have been strengthened, and the growth of our people in all the better elements of national life has indicated the wisdom of the founders and given new hope to their descendants.
Under this Constitution our people long ago made themselves safe against danger from without and secured for their mariners and flag equality of rights on all the seas.
And we stand by our principles of free and fair trade in order to preserve those safeties and liberties, not only for material gain but in defense of the right of the individual".
And today, I am certain, that our lands, full-fledged member of the world community, will not be satisfied with anything less than liberty for ourselves and our neighbors.

I am glad, therefore, that Gillenor is moving in the mainstream of current world events. For I sincerely believe that your future is as promising as your
past is proud, and that your destiny lies not as a peaceful island in a sea of troubles, but as a maker and shaper of world peace.

"The world is large," wrote Janusz Ben-Yehosaphat.

"The world is large when its weary
leagues two loving hearts divide,
"But the world is small when your enemy
is loose on the other side."

The world is even smaller today, though the enemy in those times is no longer a hostile power. Indeed, across the gulfs and barriers that now divide us,
we must remember that there are no permanent enemies. Hostility today is a fact, but it is not a ruling law. The supreme reality of our time is our indivisibility as
children of God and our common vulnerability on this planet.

The central issue of freedom, however, is between those who believe in self-determination and those in the who would impose on others a harsh and oppressive Communist system;
and here your nation has bravely stood with those defending liberty.

In defense of that liberty, I must note the recent developments in the turbulent north, with the long-awaited resolution of the East Namor Sea crisis. The world can now look
forward to resumption of commerce in those troubled waters. North Daecon remains wary of agression following the incidents this last spring. That need for security is now
and will continue to be addressed. I want to thank your and our command staffs for preparing this item of discussion for this visit, and for North Daecon Prime Minister Harris for his
valuable insight.

But this visit is much more than a review of military and diplomatic policy. We hope to accomplish much during our time here. In the area of cooperation between Gillenor and
West Cedarbrook, we are reviewing a request by Salk University to open a branch of their Chemistry Department's Qualitative Analysis laboratory in conjunction with participatin
Gillenor colleges and professional associations, to further research in this vital area. Several of our businessmen joining this visit will be discussing advances in plant
biotechnology with their counterparts here, which we hope will be beneficial to both parties. Our technologists will discuss import, licensing and testing requirements for
mobile devices, to encourage the best possible opportunities for businesses and consumers in both countries. And representatives of both governments will review current anti-
money laundering practices, in the hopes of reducing fraud and improving security for our citizens and yours.

On a more personal note, Mrs. Feld and I look forward to enjoying your Osserheim Redcoats this week. You may or may not be aware of it, but Gillenor professional basketball
is one of the most watched sports venues in West Cedarbrook. I'll be taking a first hand look at current advances when I visit the TPBC Research Labs and Headquarters, and
anticipate a spritied give-and-take at the University of Palan. Mr. Prime Minister - I expect this to be quite spirited!

The people of West Cedarbrook wish to thank you in helping our application for Southern Union membership. We understand that this is a somewhat controversial issue here, but
our recent accession, along with our sister democracies in North Daecon and Michillies give our hemisphere an additional avenue for discussion of differences, an additionl way
to settle issues between nations without resorting to warfare. But preparation for war provides a basis for a lasting peace, when enemies of individual freedom see and understand
that free men and women are ready to stand guard agains any threats to that freedom. In that respect, there will be planing for Gillenoran participation in this years Chappeaux Exercises IV,
in all it's aspects. This is not to preclude or rattle the saber over the crisis that faces us across the Central Ocean, but is a necessary and responsible action for the training
and coordination of our forces.

Again, I wish to thank the Prime Minister and members of the Press. And I'd be happy to field questions now.”

The president will then be visiting the Peacock Palace, seat of the Sunheart monarchy and meet Emperor Tiber IV himself. In the next few days President Feld will watch the Osserheim Redcoats play against their longtime rivals the Oceanus Sharks, a game that’s sure to be internationally watched. At some point the President will thank Gillenor for it’s sponsorship of West Cedarbrook in the Southern Union and visit the research labs of one of Gillenor’s largest banks, TPBC. President Feld will then head south to the city of Palan for a session with the politics class of the world famous university. Finally a meeting has been organised back in Osserheim between President Feld, Prime Minister Firedancer and Prime Minister Harris of North Daecon to discuss the current crisis there.

Could this mean the end of Tong Pyu's dominance?

In other news, earlier this year, Prime Minister Amadeus Firedancer made some promises to the public that he would reform the financial sector so it benefits the customers and not just the big corporations. While not much happened on these promises for a while, things may be starting to change. There has been recent talks within the Oranje Party of setting harsher regulations to the fund-management sector, a part of finance that has remained largely untouched by the government. It is however debatable what the government can actually do, and the effects of these possible regulations. Most fund-management companies are based in Karego, such as TPBC, The Colonial Finance Company and Henry Redrook. This means that the colonial government of Karego has most of the dominion over these companies, and is most likely to be unhappy with regulations to their largest income providers.

With elections coming up this in itself is a risky move, especially with the right wing of the Oranje party who may not take kindly to it and even jump ship to the Conservatives. Of course Michael Corrington, head of the Conservatives has used this against the Oranjists, calling it a “ignorant move”. The government however seems to be set on going towards regulations for banks.

Minister of Defense Executed at High Noon

August 20th, 2014

Sinro City, New Zepuha - Today was a sombre day in the capital as crowds gathered in patriots square to witness the execution of disgraced Minister Auschlogen. Four days prior, Minister Auschlogen was found guilty of abuse of power and criminal negligence, that night a federal judge sentenced him to die by public hanging. While hanging is limited to the military the judge cited precedence where as former military veterans may still be hanged.

Minister Auschlogen was lead into the silent square by an escort of correctional officers wearing balaclavas to protect their identities. Behind them followed a priest citing prayers for the mans soul and next to him in black robes and black pointed hood, the executioner. Auschlogen was lead up the gallows of thick oak beams and to the center of the decades old gallows. There the executioner readied the noose around the mans head and the priest accepted final confession from the condemned man. The priest stood aside for the Commandant of the Capital Penitentiary to give his final address to the public.

"Former member of parliament and minister of defense Auschlogen stands here before you condemned of crimes against the crown! By ordering the attack upon Gibberish ships that resulted in a war that claimed many lives of our fellow countrymen, he has shown great disloyalty to the crown and a lack of consideration for the peoples wishes. By what he thought as protecting our honor he has tossed dirt upon our good name. My fellow patriots, you are here to bear witness on the just punishment of these crimes.

Mr. Auschlogen, you are about to be executed by hanging as prescribed by federal law. May God have mercy on your soul"

At the conclusion of the statement by the chief Mr. Auschlogen was hung for 10 minutes until his death by strangulation as confirmed by an on site doctor and perished at 12:10 P.M. This execution has sparked much debate about the validity of the case and whether or not this was politically motivated. Some say that four days was not enough for the judge to make a fair ruling and many cite foul play. Demonstrators in Port Royale were up in arms in the streets after the execution was carried out during a public and televised event. Demonstrators demand that the government evaluate its abuses of human and civil rights and cite OEN violations.

The plot flip-pens
Former President-General investigated over alleged participation in "gymbling"
August 21, NMR 2369

SHARLITSTON, EAST NAMOR- Local authorities said they are now looking into an illegal gymnastics gambling case, this time involving a former President-General.

Reports are coming out of Sharlitston, East Namor that Alicia Wolf and her family accessed a gambling website and took part in gymnastics gambling online. Police are searching Wolf's bank account, which they report is "fairly modest," for any possible transactions made from the gambling. So far police haven't revealed any new findings, but more will come as this story develops.
Image
Former President-General Alicia Wolf is now under
police investigation suspected of "gymbling"

Wolf, formerly a field hockey legend and now 69 years old, fully retired from politics since her presidency ended NMR 2363. She hasn't made any major appearances in public since; a spokesperson for Wolf told the press the former President-General is "aging incorruptibly" and living a "simple life." People who have met with Wolf since the day she left office described her similarly. Wolf rarely utilizes social media, making only three tweets once a month at a regular basis.

Her last tweet, posted the day before the Esquarian Games opened, wished luck for the Namorese athletes. "I will support them, even though I will not be able to go to Hartly to see them. Even so, wish them luck and hopefully they win much honor for us and themselves," read the tweet, followed by "#GoTeamNamora." Given her athletic career in the past, investigators say they are certain Wolf was paying "close" attention to the Hartly Games.

The spokesperson for Wolf did admit that the former President-General "is a big fan" of Namor's athletes, "especially gymnasts. She regards them as fabulous, self-sacrificing people."

Alicia Wolf did not comment---through herself or through her proxies---on the ongoing investigation. Police say repercussions for illegal gymnastics gambling may be lighter on Wolf due to the immunity she is entitled to for life now that she has been Namor's head of state.

The investigation came days after ten people from East Namor district were arrested once caught gambling on gymnasts at the height of the Esquarian Games in Hartly, Ainin. Nationwide, authorities and law enforcement agencies are vowing to crack down on "gymbling," as illegal gymnastics gambling is now known in Namor for short, enforcing the longstanding national ban on gambling in general.

State Visit Tour Announced

Image
The King and his wife viewing a farewell horse race in Helensburg

August 24th, 2014

Sinro City, New Zepuha - It is that time of the year again, and the royal court is abuzz with excitement over the yearly state visit tour! King Auschlogen will be making visits in close allies nations and to other nations to forge relationships and close ties with governments. It is also a mission of good will to our fellow Esquarian nations, as the days are turbulent. Esquarium faces several major issues yet to be fully addressed and nations masquerading as free nations. King Auschlogen is seeking to spread stability in the homeland by showing that he is still calm and capable of making his duties that he inherited from his father.

The young king will make his first tour ever starting tomorrow with a visit to Yucheng, Qianrong for a four day tour of the capital city. There he will be meeting with Acting Chancellor Hsieh Jiang-De to discuss matter of state and continued Zepuhan involvement in counter-terrorist operations in Qianrong. In which the King says that the Jaeger Kommandos are making great progress against the ASQ.

Next on the list is a visit to the Nihilistic View to take a four day tour of the capital city and outlying cities as well as a one day sojourn to visit the Berganamo Bay Naval Base and Federal Prison facility along the coast. The King and his retinue will view the construction work on the expansion of the dock yards and prison cell blocks. He will be taking meetings with the King of the Nihilistic View, Constantine Vitellius.

Then there will be a stop in Ziegenhain touring in the capital city of Reutern. King Auschlogen will spend three days here speaking with the Führer Fredrich Ulrich about matters of state and foreign policy. Here are a few points to be discussed: Anti-Namorism and how to oppose Namor, Trade agreements and Mutual Economic Cooperation, Rise of fake Democracy, Military cooperation. The King gladly accepted these points making a casual joke to Ulrich about 'those yellow namsters won't see it coming'. As well discussion will take place over the construction of a New Zepuhan airbase in Ziegenhain and where to locate it.

Before returning home the King will stop in Hartly, Ainin to visit to local cultural sites and sample the local eateries but will not meet with any public officials, it will be simply a pleasure visit. The exact dates will not be released for the security of the King and he will travel with a decoy and a close protection team at all times. He is looking forward to the visits with the utmost care and concern.

The Dowager Empress accused of still holding slaves, Outrage from the Little Family

Image
Catherine Maria Boronets-Little at the New Moscow Haute Couture Festival, representing the Little Dress Company.

Empress Catherine Maria was accused by the Republican Army of Liberation of holding slaves at her residence at New Moscow, and of human rights violations, while she denies it fervently.

"This is ridiculous propaganda by right wing forces against the Imperial Government, our glorious and infallible Empire, and my efforts to support my son in his tenure. I have no slaves, and in my lifetime there has been no slave working in the Little Mansion. I challenge the police force to search my home, for I am sure no chattel are working in my house."

She also addresses the accusations of genocide against her father in law, Jorat Robespierre Little, and the ongoing Warburg General Strike.

"My father in law is of good intentions, and not a murderer. The accusations of the use of Agent Orange on native villages is not true and libelous, expected from right wing bandits and thieves led by a child murderer [Forrest]. The strike is only fueled by propaganda, and everyone will get back to work, via the good work of Raiden Defense Services, who will also defend Warburg and bring the city to order."

Catherine refused to comment further, besides providing a promise to help fight against slavery in Warburg.

West Cedarbrook 1 - Early Morning News

<Commercial for Libertarian Party>

Hi! This is Antoine "Tony" Sanhedrin, your Senator in District 124. Here in Wrycova, we enjoy some of the best our country has to offer, outstanding sports teams, fine colleges and universities,
beautiful parks and playgrounds. It's a great place to raise a family and do business. I've always enjoyed living here, where Marlene and I are raising our two kids.
Image
I've been proud to represent Rosewood-Bukowno for the last 6 years, working with Libertarian and Conservative administrations and Senators alike, on issues important to us, like
Education, Health Care, and promoting our small businesses here in town. But mostly I've enjoyed contributing to our community, as a dad, Little League coach, lawyer and volunteer High School
tutor. And with your help, we can continue to make Rosewood-Bukowno, all of Wrycova and our nation a better place to live.

And so I ask for your vote for Senator on September 17th. Let's all join together to keep on track, and watch out for the people of District 124. Thank you for your support.

<voice over>
On September 17th, return Tony Sanhedrin to the Senate. Announcement paid by The Libertarian Party.
<Early Morning News Host: Voice Only>

Very early the morning, at 3:17 AM Waterwitt time President Feld arrived in the North Daecon capital to continue his state visit to South Central Nations. We pick up coverage from Betty
Everett, with the Presidential party.

Image

<<Betty Everett>>
Early in the morning Kramden 1 touched down at Waterwitt's Benjamin Hollwood Airport amid the tightest security to date on the tour. This in contrast to the last several days
in Gillenor, where following his meeting with at the Peacock Palace with Emperor Tiber IV, where he again expressed the nation's thanks for helping with West Cedarbrook's acceptance into The Southern Union, he attended a basketball game where the Osserheim Redcoats demolished rival Oceanous Sharks, 104-89, enjoying martinis in the Owner's Loge.
Later in the visit the President viewed an Emergency Recovery exercise at the research labs of one of Gillenor’s largest banks, TPBC. Before leaving the President answered questions
from Politics students at the University of Palan, covering a wide range of questions about southern hemisphere policy and the upcoming Cedarbrookese Senate elections.
He again convened before departing Osserheim with Prime Minister Firedancer and Prime Minister Harris of North Daecon convened to discuss the current crisis in North Daecon.

Image
As Kramden 1 passed into North Daeconese air space at 1:05 AM, the President's plane was accompanied by a squadron of North Daecon Air Force fighters. Security in this tense capital was tight, as Waterwitt remains on high alert during the State Visit. Transit police were on hand as the President landed, and the motorcade from the airport to The Lodge sped through the downtown with tight restrictions on travel during the trip to The Prime Minister's residence.

In a brief statement at the airport, President Feld said:

"Mr. Prime Minister,

I want to express the thanks of the West Cedarbrookese people for allowing me this opportunity to see first hand and discuss in greater detail the challenges facing North Daecon
in recent times. In our discussions with Prime Minister Firedancer at Osserheim we have come to a greater understanding of the issues facing North Daecon. But you are not alone.
Those threatening democracy here today can threaten it across the seas. The threat of turbulence in the peacefull waters of the South Central must be met.
Free men on both sides of our great ocean will stand up to the forces of tyrrany.

We have much to discuss in this short visit. Planning is underway for the Chappeaux Exercises IV, for coordination and sharpening defensive capabilities.
We note that the North Daecon Armed Forces have wisely used the time since earlier this year to upgrade their preparedness, as witnessed by the prudent escort of Kramden 1 by your Air Force.

Much needs to be done, and much will be accomplished in our discussions. The welcome acceptance by the Southern Union of our nations, and The Michillies Republic give hope for one
additional means for discussion of issues here in the Southern Hemisphere. But let it be heard here, and by Comrade Winslow too, that giving opportunities for discussion in no way compromises our resolve.

Ladies and Gentlemen, the hour is late, there is much to do, and I wish you a good night."

Following the airport ceremony, the Presidential motorcade went to The Lodge, where discussion on security will be held until the last leg of the tour on the 27th, when President Feld
flys to Chrisiana, The Michillies Republic.

This is Betty Everett in Waterwitt, North Daecon.

Celebration of Witson's Day

August 25th, 2014

Victorian, Wavopistan - Witson's day was founded after the attack of the Zumphian empire in 1897 when general witson charged the the Zumphian camp. During the winter he had been destroying food supplies and caravans trying to send weapons to their camps. On April 25 General Witson flanked behind the camp with a force of 750,000 men quickly crushing the camp and pushing the Zumphian empire out of Wavopistan. During the raid 2 artifacts were claimed the Catholic cross and 3rd Light Hussars regimental banner which were kept and hung on the capital building.

This year to celebrate the victory and parade will much all through out Wavopistan with the main attraction being these 2 artifacts at the end of there route they will be at the memorial site of the men who were lost in the war.We hope this will cause no problem with New Zepuha, seeing as they are the direct descendants of the disgraced 3rd LHs and Zumphians.

Dubrovken News Network Report
Hello viewers, Jack Irvine reporting for DNN. Today Comrade Winslow made a surprise press address in front of the Secretary of Defence building to talk about issues between North Daecon and Dubrovka among other pressing matters.
Image
"Hello everyone, please be seated. My fellow Dubrovkens and allied foreign nationals, I am here today to speak to you and the Dubrovken people if not all of Esquarium, about the issues between North Daecon and Dubrovka. Recently we have heard many different reports from North Daecon claiming that "Pro-Dubrovken Militias" are causing havoc in North Daecon. I wish to clarify Dubrovka's involvement in North Daecon. Now I am not a liar nor have I ever been. So I am going to come right out and say it. I have been supplying ethnic Dubrovkens in North Daecon with supplies such as food and water. If requested we do also send them guns and ammunition. We did not realize the Pro Dubrovkens would rebel against North Daecon and we wish to end the struggle. I urge any Ethnic or Pro Dubrovkens in North Daecon to come back to the place you support and call home. No one is going to protect you and your family except Dubrovka. I would like to end this by saying a famous quote from a Dubrovken Soldier "If we love our country, we should also love our countrymen".

That was an amazing address from such a kind hearted man. This has been Jack Irvine for DNN, signing off.

Namor confirms it will return Trang Vai to Qianrong
FM: Clearance given for captured Qianrongese vessel to leave Namorese waters
August 27, NMR 2369

NAMO, CAPITAL DISTRICT - The Foreign Ministry of Namor confirmed that the Namorese government will return captured Qianrongese vessel Trang Vai to Qianrong.
Image
The LIberation Navy's anti-piracy fleet training

The Trang Vai was a Qianrongese-flagged vessel that was captured by the Namorese Liberation Navy during the Changlang Crisis for holding New Zepuhan arms headed for Peitoa. The ship has been harbored somewhere along the southern coast of Namor since, its exact location being classified information due to fears of security breaches. Namor also detained the ship's captain and crew, and the cargo on board was confiscated.

The Liberation Army's act of self defense was denounced by Qianrongese authorities, who called it an act of "piracy." It has repeatedly called for Namor to return the vessel, but to no avail until now.

"Namor will return the Trang Vai to Qianrong at a date that I cannot reveal to the public due to security concerns," said Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lang Hai. "We've already contacted some representatives of the Qianrongese government, and they have agreed to receive the vessel once it reaches them. We took this course of action because we no longer see any importance of holding the ship any longer, now that it's been investigated, the cargo's been taken and the people on board are already in custody for violating national security.

"We can tell you that all necessary clearance for the Trang Vai to leave Namorese waters and return to where it came from are given," Lang went on. "The ship will be sent back to Qianrong escorted by Liberation Army ships. These ships will stop escorting the Trang Vai as the ship leaves Namorese territorial waters and enter Qianrongese territorial waters."

Despite Namorese intentions to return the Trang Vai, Lang added that the captain and crew on board the vessel during the time of its capture will stay in Namor and will not be returned along with the ship. The crew of the Trang Vai hold New Zepuhan citizenship, raising speculations during the Changlang Crisis that New Zepuha was covertly arming the Peitoan regime.

"The Namorese side is continuing to look into the entire crew of the Trang Vai, so therefore we cannot allow them to be returned with the vessel until further notice," Lang said.

Before the Trang Vai's return was officially confirmed, the fate of the ship was uncertain. Many rumors have formed, some of them saying that the ship could be sold to a private business and transformed into a hotel. Another one even claimed that the ship could be blown up by the government and broadcast on national television. No government official has ever responded to any of these rumors.

Turning breifly to the upcoming Senate election, North Central governor Carly Auburn, pinch-hitting for President Feld was in Ironton last night, campaigning for Conservative candidates in
Coastal State.Image At a rally with mayor Pearl Foch, she cited recovery in the Ironton Valley under since Feld took office. "Unemployment is down to 8.6% from 11.7% two years ago here. It's
getting better, and we'll continue to do better. The best hope for improving prospects here is to return a team to The Senate that strongly supports the President's recovery program."

We turn now to the last leg of President Feld's Central Ocean tour, joining Kramden House correspondent Betty Everett as the President prepares to address the Michillean Assembla Nacional.

Image

<<Betty Everett>>
I'm here at the Assembla Nacional, where President Feld has entered the chamber, and is about to start his address.

President Vang, Premier Pall, and honourable members of Assembla Nacional;

It is a pleasure to be in Christiana, among the balmy breezes, not only to visit The Michillies Republic for a discussion of the affairs of our region, but also to enjoy you gentle climate
after the harsh sub-Antarctic winter. And as you know, I'm not the only West Cedarbrookese to enjoy your fine land. Former President Steinberg recently had an extended fishing vacation
in Michillies. And as you can expect year after year, your beaches will soon be hosting so many of our college students on Spring Break. And so I say to my fellow countrymen, {points
finger} Behave yourself! {Laughter}.

I am glad that our Secretary of External Affairs, Dr. Wharshawsky can join us today in Christiana. Dr. Warshawsky and I are pleased to be attending a Campionaje Michillana game between Christiana City and Apollo Michillias, two of your strongest football clubs, on the 30th. And I can speak for sports fans in my country in congratulating Michillies on their victories in The Esquarian Games.

Turning to more serious matters, trade between our two nations is steadily improving. I am pleased to see the cooperation between West Cedarbrook and Michillies in the rapidly growing
technology sector. Joint pharmacutecal ventures between companies in our nation have brought more than 20 new patents to market in the last year. That is a accomplishment to be proud
of! Of course the food product trade continues strong between our two lands, Michillies being one of the leading importers for our farmers. Cooperation on food safety has produced
the highest levels of confidence in Michillien and Cedarbrookese products. The level of discourse between our scientists and doctors has never been higher, as withessed by the opening of a branch
of The Sternberg Clinic's Center for Hyperemesis Gravidarum and Ovarian Cancer in Christiana. And as new members of the Southern Union, along with North Daecon, I see only greater opportunities
for economic growth in the South Central region.

In terms of security here in the South Central, and on our continent, let me say this about that; we must act decisively and forthrightly in dealing with challenges to regional security,
particularly when it reaches the stage of armed threats agains a fellow democracy. These must not turn into a tragedy. No words can describe the depth of my conviction that the future of
The South Central depends on the freely elected governments here, in Wrycova, and in Waterwitt. I have met with Prime Minister Harris in North Daecon and Gillenor. His concerns are of
grave importance to us in West Cedarbrook, and should be taken seriously by those who value liberty on our continent. Although my nation is undergoing a vigorous and hard fought Senate
election in September, all parties agree that the West Cedarbrook way is change through the ballot box, not through the dictates of one man or a small clique. Former President Steinberg
enunciated it well when formulating The Steinberg Doctrine, providing a shield for those who value their individual rights in the South Central.

Men and women who love freedom are watching events across the sea in North Daecon, where a free people remain under threat. People in Wrycova and Steinhouse. People in Christiana and Porto Amerigo.
And those in the turbulent North of our continent, clinging to the hope of freedom and a better tomorrow under uncertain and unstable regiemes. People in thrall to the mid-continent
Triumvirate tyrants, in Reutern, in Koyro, where the thoughts of the individual must be stifled to the dictates of a Paramount Leader. Those tyrants are watching our actions. Will they
see weakness, or a resolve to face the challenges of our day, on the seas, in the air and on land?

President Vang, in her recent address to our Senate said rejected the idea of "social imperialism" as a delusion, and correctly identified the anxiety the Triumvirate Alliance has caused for
any democratic, or even semi-democratic nation in Esquarium. Today North Daecon has been facing a similar threat across it's border. I urge you to take stock of the implications of a
Dubrovkan advance on North Daecon for our region.

I look forward to this visit, meeting with your businessmen, and working with President Vang and Priemer Pall on furthering and deepening the ties between our nations, and for a brighter
future on our continent and in the South Central.

Thank you.

<Betty Everett>
Secretary for External Affairs Warshawsky flew to Christiana yesterday, after release from the West Wrycova Health Center, where he has been recuperating after treatment of a blood clot.
He was in the delegation greeting the President at Christiana Airport. OEN Ambassador Vernon Kansky and Assistant Secretary for External Affairs for Western Esquarium Steven LaGarde remain in
Waterwitt, and will return to Wrycova tonight.

We now have a more detailed report about the incident at Benjamin Hollwood International Airport in Waterwitt the morning of President Feld's arrival. The TV show (and group) Damian's Comedy List
decided to test the very tight security during the tour visit via impersonating a motorcade of a official group or party, getting past at least 1 or 4 checkpoints, cutting the prank short if they
are denied. However, they managed to get past all four checkpoints, (all manned by CBPS Transit Police) and tried to turn themselves around. However, 2 of them (Joseph 'Joe' Conrad
and Damian Williams, the host) came out of one of the cars dressed as Dubrovkan Soldiers. All of the crew, (about 6 in total) get arrested and charged with Federal trespassing and
impersonation of a federal official. The prosecutor in Waterwitt did not seem amused at the arraignment. This information courtesy of NDBC World News.

This is Betty Everett, reporting from Christiana.

President-General takes ice bucket challenge
Fu nominates Namsa, Shjoraski, Connors, Vang, Azurite
August 29, NMR 2369

NAMO, CAPITAL DISTRICT - In an act some people have criticized as "un-presidential" and others lauded as "hilarious," President-General Fu Wen took the momentum-gaining "ice bucket challenge" which promotes awareness of "amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)."
Image
President-General Fu Wen
as he dumped ice on his head.

Fu Wen decided to take on the challenge after he was nominated by Ao Hi (host of popular TV talk show Ogan no tungsi (Things That Matter), who dumped a bucket of ice water on his dead before proceeding to challenging the President-General to do the same. Ao is considered by most media outlets as the first Namorese celebrity to have done the challenge, bringing it to attention among Namorese people.

Speaking from the front lawn of the Executive House, Fu Wen was shown sitting on a wooden chair, accompanied by First Lady Lan Yujing who held the bucket (and would dump it on the President-General's head).

"Good day, people of Namor and the world, I have, upon request by Mr. Ao, decided to take the Ice Bucket Challenge to raise awareness for ALS," said the President-General. "I know some think that dumping a bucket of anything on a President-General's head is immoral or un-presidential or something, but I disagree. This is a serious disease and just because I'm President-General doesn't mean I can't do anything about it. And this is what I chose to do. By the way, I donated P700 too, and I call on citizens around the world to do the same."

Before ordering First Lady Lan to dump the bucket, Fu continued to announce his nominees for the challenge, who he says have 24 hours to complete the challenge.

"Allow me to challenge some of my comrades to do this," the President-General said. "First, I choose Namsa Singho [former Vice President under the Khan administration, current leader of the DemSoc party]. Second, let's choose Luziycan President Breuvi Shjoraski. Third, Unolian premier Jacob Connors. Fourth, Michillian president Annemarie Vang. Last but not least, Pavonistadian president Mattheu Azurite.

"We've knocked the nominations out, so let's get started. And oh, by the way, all of you have twenty-four hours to do this, if you choose to."

Finally, Fu Wen told First Lady Lan to dump the bucket of ice water on his head. Fu reacted with a loud "oof," before shaking his head, trying not to do anything his aides later described as "unprofessional."

"Whew," said Fu minutes after the dump, "that was cold."

It is yet to be known if the people Fu nominated will take the challenge, but with four out of the five nominees being world leaders to some prominent degree, it seems unlikely. Also, Namsa Singho---the only domestic politician challenged by the President-General---already declined to do the challenge, but said he will donate.

"Thanks for nominating me, but I don't like ice," Namsa said in response to Fu's challenge hours later. "I'll donate, though, I'll donate."

Veng Changjong
I appreciate what Fu is doing to raise awareness for this disease, but what I dislike is how he donated only P700 for the cause. This is what commoners do, Fu Wen is not a commoner. As President-General he should've donated more. Donating less than you can only shows him as the vicious businessman he doesn't want himself to be portrayed as. 97 39

Damn he's one philanthropist, but he should have dumped chopsticks on his head. It's his thing. 101 8

Fu, Fu Fu...you are a PRESIDENT-GENERAL NOW, not a biznizman who does crazy things to get attention. If you want to promote awareness for als you should just sign a check. You don't embarrass yourself by dumping ice or whatever that is on your head. Do you understand? 52 22

Imperial Aeroforce Fly Against Rebels in Unolia

Naval fighter bombers drop smart guided bombs in Brookopolis

August 29th, 2014

Sinro City, New Zepuha - Late last night the Imperial Naval Aviators based off of the Carrier Task Force North around the NZSS Artemis, began flying bombing sorties against rebels in Unolia. This comes as a move from the federal authorities to make good on the promise to fight terror across the globe, even those that rebel against their governments. Though some detractors of this move as a brutish enforcement of the Bergmann Doctrine, to project military force overseas.

The carrier task force steamed for the coast of Unolia from it's patrols in the North, while on a clandestine mission to observe Articia [denied by the Navy]. This action came after the King offered military support to Unolia to put down rebels, who even though share a same ideology as New Zepuha; must be put down for the sake of regional stability. King Auschlogen declared them to be nothing but terrorists trying to bring down the just leaders of Esquarium and inspire terror in our hearts. When the offer was accepted the King ordered the carrier task force to change missions as they were the closest group of warships. The attacks being led by the Navy are targeting only rebel targets within the city, until New Zepuhan strategic bomber forces are prepared to make larger scale bombing sorties on the country side.

Detractors beg the true intentions of this attack, that it was a rather political motivated attack made to distract the public from events on the home front. They site the continued rioting in major cities and the increasing amount of civil unrest in ethnic areas and within the civilian populace. After riots earlier this month were put down by military force in Port Royale following a shuttle crash and execution of the Minister of Defense. Furthermore, human rights watch groups cite the mass detainment of political opponents of the current administration, citing more corruption than places like Namor.

Whether you support the patriot forces of our brave armed forces or the slacking leftist communism peddlers of Namor and Ainin, the state news reminds you that the Inquisition and HSA are ever vigilant for crimes against the crown.

MATTHEU AZURITE TAKES ALS ICE BUCKET CHALLENGE
President raises awareness of neurodegenerative illness, viral fundraising event

Date: August 29, 2014

Writer: Timothy Haas

Image
Mattheu Azurite,
after taking the Ice
Bucket Challenge
As evening approached in the capital of Pavonistade, President Mattheu Azurite had revealed himself to have taken the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. The President recorded himself doing so while the President's Adviser Teringtor Jehvore and Parliamental Speaker Vanessa Adeodatus prepared the ice-filled bucket.

The viral challenge focuses on raising awareness of a condition known as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis or ALS. While it was not so well-known back in its inception in 2013, it had since then gained significant attention. Anyone challenged to do the Ice Bucket must have been "nominated" by another person who did the challenge, and the nominated would have to complete it within 24 hours. The person would record himself or herself, he/she would declared that the dare would be undertaken, and finally he/she would be poured on with a bucket of water and ice. He/she would nominate at least three people to engage in the Ice Bucket Challenge, whether before or after the pouring.

President Azurite committed himself to the challenge after being nominated by Namorese President-General Fu Wen, who finished the challenge. In the footage of Azurite, doing the dare within a day, he began with, "So hio (hello) to anyone watching this. It's the President speaking, and I will be officially accepting the Ice Bucket Challenge after Namor's Fu Wen nominated me for it. I don't know what to say much here, other than the fact it's time!" Azurite was given an ice bucket by Adviser Jehvore before he poured it on himself.

"Here it is, everyone," Azurite went on, shaking lightly after the short cold had passed, "I've done it. Now I shall proceed to donate ♇52.36 ($100), and I hope this will sent a message to the Pavonistadians to be more aware of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.

Azurite nominated Ocelotian Governor-President Julien von Osestadtie, Tarctican President Jonas Smithson (S.) Rodriguez, and Lotus Island's leader to take the Ice Bucket Challenge. While many Pavonistadians find this to be intriguing and amusing, more are quite discontent with Azurite's partaking in the challenge.

ALRIGHT, this is really outrageous. Mount Ulieses revived itself and there's a raging outbreak in Arctica, and the President has enough time to do this needless challenge! The donation isn't worth much too, so why bother when you have two more gargantuan issues knocking at our nation's doors?

@NeverGonnaNameMyself
I understand that this is a stupid way to use up time, but spreading awareness about ALS and donating are good, and Azurite is doing what is good. He's keeping up the spirit of the Ice Bucket Challenge like many others. Besides, think of all those going through ALS. Would anyone think for them, especially since this is, like, almost nonexistent in Pavonistade?

President announces aid package to Pavonistade, comments on ALS 'Ice Bucket' challenge

Image
Shjoraski and VP speaking

BETHLEHEM, LUZIYCA - Today, President Breuvi Shjoraski had a press conference with LRT, ITV, and Oresund, as well as the National Enquirer, as well as many other news outlets throughout the region to discuss recent issues affecting Esquarium, such as the Mount Ulises eruption.

First on the table, Shjoraski has said, "With the eruption of Mount Ulises, an executive order has been issued. It will affect all flights to all countries between the longitudes of Concordia and Larena, and latitudes between the northernmost point of Yakers Makers and Paradisia, with flights going within this square which is where the volcanic material be most likely to affect air travel."

He declared "All flights to Pavonistade, Ocelot Isles, Flaming Soul Forces, Drakeshold, northern Cata Larga and Cortazur, western Xainithiakos, Comwald, and Iglesiantis, as well as southern Altymnova and Sloverdia, as well as Alexius will be suspended for a minimum period of two weeks. Flights to other countries within this zone must be equipped with additional safety measures and be prepared to make an emergency landing at any moment."

Related to the eruption, Breuvi Shjoraski has announced "With the eruption, we know that it will affect the Pavon economy. As a former colony of ours, and a strategic ally, we are offering 3.5 billion lira ($7,000,000,000) in aid to help rebuild Pavonistade and make the country a prosperous state again. Many aid organizations throughout the country have also offered to rebuild infrastructure, with Lombardians especially wanting to rebuild Pavonistadeck should any infrastructure get damaged by the eruption."

Next on the agenda was Paslonav. Shjoraski had said "the pipeline's construction has been fast-tracked to begin after Harvest Day. 47 have died in the derailment, and we will have all of our flags lowered to half-mast until September 10th when a memorial service is held. The estimates of the damage are at five hundred million lira (one billion dollar), and we will pay for half. The state of Ubezha shall pay for half of the damages, and we will investigate the derailment."

He explained "184 have no home to return. Most have insurance protecting them, but for the few that don't, it will be good news to the construction industry and health providers as they pay out of pocket. The rest are able to return to their homes, and the last 150 that can will return home tomorrow evening. The railroad line is being rebuilt, and we hope to resume service by this time next year."

Finally, was the ice bucket challenge. Shjoraski said "many of our countrymen and Fu Wen have nominated me to do the challenge. ALS is a dreadful disease, but I am not going to pour a bucket of nice clean water on my head. If I did, people may think of me as a rich guy who has money to waste while children in Asenath are going without clean water. Instead, I will cash a cheque of 1.5 million lira (three million dollars) to help sufferers of ALS."

NAMOR TO RETURN TRANG VAI, STOP FUNDING OPERATION ALL IN
by FU JIAO-HUNG - AUGUST 30 2014
YUCHENG, QIANRONG - The Qianrongese Coast Guard confirmed today that Namor has, after two months, returned the captured cargo vessel Trang Vai to Qianrong and that the vessel is now on its way to Yucheng, ending a standoff between the two countries that began during the Changlang Crisis.

The Trang Vai, Qianrongese-flagged but manned by Zepuhans and filled with Zepuhan weaponry, was delivering said weapons to the government of Jung Fa, then the leader of the Republic of Peitoa. The ship was captured by the Namorese navy, which was blockading the island to enforce sanctions. Because neither New Zepuha nor Qianrong had enacted any actions, this was seen as an act of blatant piracy by the Qianrongese and Zepuhan governments, both of which demanded the ship and its crew returned. Now, at last, the ship has been returned to Qianrong- though the Zepuhans still remain in Namor. Qianrong's government has not officially commented on the Zepuhan crew, but many Qianrongese believe that Namor should return them to their home country as well.

However, even better news came as well: the Ministry of Defense and Intelligence announced today that the Namorese Liberation Army had told them that the Namorese government would be, at last, ending its role in Operation All In, a decades-old plot by Namor and Ainin to fund terrorists in Qianrong. With Namor gone, the ASQ will be significantly hampered, and Ainin will stand alone in promotion of such evil.

"This is fantastic news for Qianrong and the world," Acting Chancellor Hsieh Jiang-De told the press. "With All In dying and the Trang Vai returned, Namor and Qianrong can look into further promoting peace and liberty in the East Namor Sea and Esquarium. It is my hope that Qianrong and Namor can continue this reconciliation in all areas." The move was also hailed with widespread applause across Qianrong, and there are expected to be massive celebrations later today when the Trang Vai docks in Yucheng.

Jacob Connors Gets Dunked
In New Video, Connors Expedites Ice Bucket Challenge via Dunk Tank

Proving that even top-level members of the Jahistic Party can have some fun sometimes, Premier and General Secretary of the Jahistic Party of Unolia, Jacob Connors, responded to three nominations by the Jahistic National Committee, the Assembly of the People and the Namorese Executive Branch and took the Ice Bucket Challenge. He was seen in a tanktop and bathing suit getting dunked in a dunktank filled with ice six times. What makes this even more humorous is that the six perpetrators were his comrades in the Standing Committee of the JPU.

Connors, with a humorous look of discontent on his face, got dunked outside of a public pool area. This was quickly recorded by several people (thousands showed up despite there being no official announcement of the acceptance) and uploaded to social media sites. Connors gave a short speech afterwards, fighting off shivers, saying that this kind of international activism to combat a disease like amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is the most "Thumanist and decent thing I have seen from the international community."

"ALS is a horrific disorder which affects 2,000 new Unolians and goodness knows how many members of Esquarium every year. The Party Committee on Public Health is extremely grateful that millions of international citizens care and are willing to simulate a small portion of the disorder and then donate money to help fight it.

I am glad to announce that, later today, I will sign a new directive to the Party Committee on Health to found the first Party-sanctioned ALS foundation. It will work, in conjunction with many international, subnational and supranational bodies to help progress research of this disorder. ALS transcends political alignment or political causes. If the Revolution were to be complete tomorrow, ALS will still be in the world, so why not work together to defeat it?"

He then appeared to have left the podium but he then came back to make two announcements:

"I nominate only one person: Former Namorese President-General Alicia Wolf. I'm sure she can do that with all that gambling money she apparently accumulated." This prompted laughter from the press corps. "I would also like to announce that the JPUSC will donate 25 million Unolian Lira to the new Party foundation on ALS."

<Koyro> (Democratic Koyro) NSG senate is a glaring example of why no one in NSG should ever have a position of authority
The Emerald Dawn wrote:"Considering Officer Krupke was patently idiotic to charge these young men in the first place, we're dropping the charges in the interest of not wasting any more of the Judiciary's time with farcical charges brought by officers who require more training on basic legal principles."

President Bragnir signs Secularization order, protests, and riots ensue
Image
President Bragnir speaking to Reporter.

STOCKHOLM, FJALLMARK. Today at 4:55 PM, President Aleric Bragnir signed the Secularization Act, meant to push Fjallmark further toward secularization. This bill is very a controversial bill, which took over 4 months to pass, but the president intervened and chose to already make the bill into law. When asked about his reason for intervention, President Bragnir stated that "If Parliament would refuse to act, I would act on my own, which I have chosen to do in this case". But not everyone approves. Today in a statement by the opposition, Opposition leader Isaac Nednava stated that "This unconstitutional abuse of power should be dealt with swiftly, and we will be putting in a no-confidence vote against President Bragnir". A major reason that this bill was controversial was what this bill required. Some of these requirements include that, all religious symbols are to be banned in public places, and implement a "Don't ask, Don't tell" policy when it comes to religion. The passing of this bill has caused outrage throughout the nation with protests throughout. When police shot at the protestors, the protests quickly turned to riots.

There has also been word of militias forming around the country. At the rate things are going, this law may not be a very respected law.

BREAKING NEWS The Epinelet Power Plant Explodes
Published : Sunday, August 31st 2014, 04:51 ( Pontnouveau ), Sunday, August 31st, 06:51 ( Vannantes )

The power plant of Epinelet, in 2008

EPINELET / LIMONOIS, FRANCILIE - The date of 31st August, 2014 will stay in the history as one of the darkest days of Francilie and Esquarium : the nuclear power plant of Epinelet exploded, after the explosion of the reactor, caused by a 22 years old trainee's error. It triggered an explosion and the rejection of nuclear products in the air.

This explosion created a nuclear cloud that is currently in the Limonois. the weather specialists say that with the winds and other pertubations, the nuclear cloud expands and it is advancing in the south-west direction.

"The nuclear cloud will be moving on a diagonal line between Francilie and Ainin, certainly, but the influence of a typhoon between Geilinor and Ainin could move the nuclear cloud in the north-west direction : Namor and Luziyca are in this direction, but don't worry : the nuclear cloud should disappear at the level of Ainin." warns Jean-Pierre Pélugat, but Guillaume Hélie, is more pessimistic : "The winds could move the cloud on a less diagonal-ish line : il could go straight on Geilinor, without meeting the typhoon or Ainin."

"The main problem tonight is Francilie", says Julie Cornème, because this nuclear cloud will certainly move to Pontnouveau. The president Edouard Lunet don't said anything about that...for now.

The Epinelet power plant have been at the center of the discussions in 2010, after the first election of Edouard Lunet : the Green Party ( Les Verts ) and generally every left-wing party have warned the country about the possible explosion of the oldest power plant of Francilie, but for structural and security reasons.

The people of Epinelet have been evacuated in emergency to Nansbourg, one of the most far cities from the power plant.
STAY TUNED FOR MORE INFORMATIONS.

Wolf admits to gymbling, apologizes
"My actions disgraced Namor's athletic community," said former President-General
August 31, NMR 2369

SHARLITSTON, EAST NAMOR - Former President-General Alicia Wolf delivered an open letter to the press, in which she admitted to gymnastics gambling (better known as "gymbling") and apologized for it.

Wolf was put under investigation by local authorities over a week ago after it was found out that she might have been involved in betting money over the performance of Namorese gymnasts taking part in the Esquarian Games. As many had suspected, Wolf said she gambled online.

"My family and I all took part in this activity, and for that I am guilty as charged," said Wolf. "I can tell you that I myself bet thousands of ramon during the process. It was a disgraceful and unwanted action taken on my part. As a person who has her morals, I will take responsibility for my actions and accept any repercussions my actions deserve to have on me."

Wolf went on to recognize the pressure her participation in "gymbling" has placed on Namorese gymnasts, their coaches, as well as Namorese sportspeople in general.

"My actions disgraced Namor's athletic community. Being an athlete myself once, undoubtedly this is an act of paramount embarrassment," she said. "I want to apologize not only to the general public, but to the hard-working, self-sacrificing sportswomen and sportsmen who are fighting out there to make our country and themselves look proud. I realize that what I've done has put unneeded pressure on them, and I want to use this opportunity to call on others not to follow me and take the same route. Do not do anything that will put the reputations of these wonderful, amazing people in jeopardy."

Authorities have not yet spoken on what kind of penalties Alicia Wolf and other involved people will be taken, but one official hinted that due to Wolf's identity as a former President-General, any penalty will come with "a considerable degree of leniency and immunity."

Wolf's apology comes as authorities are continuing their nationwide crackdown on illegal "gymbling," reaffirming their resolve to stamp out these and other illegal activities. Since the day Wolf came under investigation, East Namor authorities said that in the district alone, 41 people were arrested for "gymbling;" the number of arrests made for the same reason on the national level is aid to be in the low hundreds.

Other news
  • Unexpectedly, Azurite and Connors get dumped in ice - Pavonistadian president Mattheu Azurite and Unolian leader Jacob Connors both took the ice bucket challenge to raise awareness for ALS. Both people were nominated by President-General Fu Wen and apparently accepted it against all odds. In Pavonistade, Azurite was criticized for taking the challenge while the government is still dealing with the damage caused by a volcano eruption.
  • Connors nominates Wolf, yet to hear reply - Unolian leader Jacob Connors mocked Wolf's involvement in "gymbling," challenging her to do the ice bucket challenge and donate her gambling money.
  • Qianrong welcomes Trang Vai return, but problems remain - Qianrong said it welcomed Namor's return of the Trang Vai, however added that it was informed by the Namorese Liberation Army that Namor will end its involvement in "Operation All In," an alleged joint Namorese-Aininian plan to undermine Qianrong's government through local militants. The Namorese Foreign Ministry reiterated that Namor had no knowledge of any plan of using militants to undermine Qianrong's government, and therefore it could not have possibly informed Yucheng of abandoning anti-Qianrong covert operations.
  • Left slams Fu over "cheap" donation - When it broke that Luziycan president Breuvi Shjoraski and Unolian leader Jacob Connors donated millions of ramon to the anti-ALS cause, the progressive camp slammed President-General Fu Wen over his "cheap" donation of P700 ($100) to the cause. Namsa Singho, leader of the DemSocs, said "if Fu is indeed a philanthropist, he could have done more. The fact that Shjoraski donated more than him makes me want to go red in the face."

War erupts in Fjallmark!

A country-wide anti-government uprising has grown into a full-scale internal armed conflict as the Fjallish Armed Forces had clashed with multiple rebel factions resulting in the split of the country

The recently developed country-wide anti-government uprising related to the outlawing of religious diversity in Fjallmark by the country’s President Aleric Bragnir, has reached a stage that everybody had feared of the most. The internal crisis consisting primarily of anti-government protests, riots and other campaigns, has turned into a brutal war. Although not yet labeled a civil war, the armed conflict in Fjallmark had officially broken out after a number of guerrilla militias had engaged the Fjallish Armed Forces in a series of battles which had resulted with the government forces having lost all control over almost entire south of the country, as well as several areas in other parts of the mainland. The recent reports had confirmed that after having pushed all of the Fjallish Military out of the southern territories of the country and securing control over them, the rebels had announced the establishment of the self-proclaimed Christian Republic of Fjallmark, thus declaring the insurgent-held south of the country a separate break-away state. Even though the enforced splitting of the country had already occurred, it does not seem like it will mean an end to the fighting, as the latest reports suggest that the government forces are planning to retake the lost territory from the rebels, thus dissolving the break-away country and reunifying Fjallmark. As the rebels will be preparing to hold off the counter-offensive from the government side, the war will only seem to be escalating into an even more brutal and destructive conflict. It has just come to us live that the Fjallish Military and the rebels are currently engaging in several battles on the demarcation line that currently serves as the border between the Republic of Fjallmark and the self-proclaimed Christian Republic of Fjallmark.

In response to the havoc occurring in the neighboring country, the units of the Ocidenian Commonwealth Armed Forces currently operating on the Fjallish–Ocidenian border, had increased the security of the border by deploying additional more well armed units along the entire border between the two countries, in order to make sure that none of the fighting in Fjallmark spills over into the territory of Ocidenia. More news on this topic – coming soon.

New Zepuha Enters Fjallmark

September 1st, 2014

Sinro City, New Zepuha - Today four air raids took place over Fjallmark to 'soften' the will of the Fjallmark people before an invasion was to take place in support of the rebel forces. In anticipation of the deployment of two divisions of infantry into Fjallmark to aid the rebel forces in fighting for freedom. The King sympathizes with the christian forces fighting for their religious rights and against the oppression of religious groups. Zepuhan infantry forces are intended to squeeze Fjallmark on two fronts by landing airborne units in rebel territory and sweep forward to meet forces landing by sea in a pincer movement.

Tacticians believe that bombing industrial centers will weaken loyalist abilities to fight, as well showing that Zepuhan forces can reach anyone with long range bombers. Along with the capital of Stockholm three other cities were hit by bombing runs: Kaldakinn, Pandek, and Morso. Casualty figures are unknown but expected to be high due to large amounts of high explosive and incendiary bombs dropped over wide areas. These raids will continue through the night until midnight when night operations will be flown by Naval fighter bombers hoping to be in the area. The 1st Infantry Division and 8th Airborne Division will be deployed into Fjallmark to continue the rebellion and dispose the oppressive government in power.
