Page is both an anglophone nation and has an old language of its own. In recent years, populations in highly urbanized areas are more likely to only know English and be less skilled in the ancient tongue. Rural populations place more value in passing on Ancient Pagian, but only very isolated communities do not speak English at all. Our demographics, per the last census, are thus:

English is the language of business, academics, science, media, and every day conversations. Ancient Pagian is the language of religious ceremonies, nationalist and folk music, philosophy, poetry (although many famous Pagian poets wrote only in English), military traditions (like formal parades), and speaking about foreigners in front of them, although this is considered rude to do.

Historically, Arabic was the majority language, although now it is English. State English is being imposed on the population, however many continue to speak Standard English which has become seen as colloquial.

The influence of Europeans in Dinahia can be seen with English being the most spoken language, and Spanish being another major language. There exists a sizeable minority of Dutch-speakers who use speak Dutch at home to their family and Dutch-speaking friends, whilst otherwise using English. Spanish and Arabic are in a similar situation to Dutch, both being superseded by English, however Spanish & Arabic are usually taught in schools as secondary languages.

Hebrew is used as a liturgical language in Dinahia's State Churches, and taught to everyone alongside State English, but rarely used outside of Church.

1) Sekmi. Our native language, it's of the Indo-European family and quite close to proto-Indo-European, but with a diminished number of sounds so it can be spoken by species with wildly differing physiologies. Anyone brought up in the UPT will know Sekmi, it's only immigrants that might not.
2) English. The language of the founder and of the galaxy, it's got a strong native literary history and is taught in the vast majority of schools. It's often heard in communities that have many immigrants.

After that the proportion of speakers drops off dramatically and an order is hard to assign. There are many dialects of Sekmi used by different species and communities, with varying degrees of mutual intelligibility. Zealandian Arabic has also developed among the Trainer Type's prominent Muslim community.
