Queen Grace has been on the throne since 6 August 1962 and is not only Barrera's longest reigning monarch, she is also South America's longest serving incumbent head of state*. Born on 25 August 1925, she is currently 89-years-old and-—setting another record—is Barrera's oldest serving head of state and South America's oldest serving incumbent head of state*.

*In both instances, Grace's international records are second only to Empress Isabel of Aurea.

He's fairly ugly, but looks noble enough. With red-brown hair and blue eyes, he stands about 1.8m the typical height in the land. Born into a prominent family, his posture, gestures and mannerisms command authority but his monotone voice is his largest foible. He lived abroad during the repressive communist era. He was not kept locked up in a cell as many of his family members were. This gave him few scars and a shade darker skin than many of his relatives. He typically wears the pre-communist royal military uniform (designed in the 1890s) along with the medals awarded to himself and to his ancestors. He seldom makes public appearances and his only portrait (seen below) is in black and white so as to hide his slightly more tan skin tone.
