She was well known for her beauty, yet the sort of purity she gave off. Everyone loved her, but no one lusted for her, especially after her husband died. When she led us to victory in the Great Demon War, it only helped engrave her upon the minds, spirit, and the history of our nation. Since then, she has almost become the personification of Dalcaria, and perhaps a sort of "war spirit" that people remember in times of war. She has kept us strong and brave since she was alive, so much so that even her death hadn't slowed us down.

As a republic, Gjulich does not presently have a monarch. However, the last monarch to have ruled Gjulich up until 1754 AK (1926 in the Western Calendar) was Minal IX of the Darin dynasty. He was overthrown while Gjulich was suffering from hard times, after the Great War (affecting Gjulich indirectly) by Republican forces. He was allowed safe passage to another country.
