That dagger must be compensating for something for every Imerian soldier that carries it. :p

Handguns
  • Polish Vis pistol ( Honour weapon of the uppermost ranks of Fanrest Armed Forces | Not a service pistol )
  • SIG Sauer P226 ( Main service pistol )
  • Heckler & Koch USP ( Other service pistol, common among navy sailors )

Service rifles
  • Heckler & Koch G3 ( A3 variant | Standard issue battle rifle )
  • Colt Canada C8A1 carbine
  • Barret M107A1 ( Anti-materiel rifle )
  • M16 ( Common service rifle used in operations abroad )
  • Accuracy International Arctic Warfare ( Standard firearm for the Fanrest sniper units | Arctic Warfare Magnum and Arctic Warfare Covert variants )

[Sub-]Machine guns
  • Heckler & Koch MP5 ( Main sub-machine gun in use by the Fanrest Armed Forces )
  • M60 machine gun ( Standard machine gun )
  • Rheinmetall MG3 ( Secondary machine gun )

Note: The Fanrest Armed Forces are currently under reformulation. Many weapons were inherited from the previous [democratic] regime, and many other were sold during the Great Civil War. Therefore, the list above is not, at all, definitive.
Ingredients:
  • A territory geographically equal to the Scandinavian Peninsula
  • Militarist Psychos
  • Nationalist Psychos
  • Dictatorial Psychos
  • Other sorts of Psychos
  • Commie-Be-Gone™
  • B-2 Spirit
1. Commence by homogeneously mixing the Nationalist Psychos with the Dictatorial Psychos. Once the two are well mixed together, throw the rest of the Psychos into the bowl.
2. Give time for the mixture to ferment. Meanwhile, clean the target territory with Commie-Be-Gone™.
3. Disperse the fermented recipe through the territory by using a B-2 Spirit and wait until the hate-speech groups start growing.
4. Let the recipe cook at -10º Celsius for one year and return to check the Civil War results.

It's Nazi-licious!

I don't think you understand the concept of 'utility'.
I thought ten thousand swords must have leaped from their scabbards to avenge even a look that threatened her with insult. But the age of chivalry is gone. That of sophisters, economists, and calculators has succeeded; and the glory of Europe is extinguished for ever.

There was once in MMW 2

That was back when we all aspired to be like New Nicksyllvania.
While Galla has been a good replacement, he just isn't as bombastic and awe inspiring. (No offence Galla)

Since we're on the topic of ye' olden days, I've found my first lineart rifle:

Here is one of my more recent works, 2 years later:

Man, I've been here for a long time.

There really wasn't.

The 'consensus' of Mk2 was that bullpups were in fact some sort of heresy. As were intermediates.

Apparently, the 6.5 grendel was considered weak by the end of the MMW Mk.1

The history of this thread is extremely interesting.

Probably because it was only Mk4/5 when people began to doubt the extent of the effects that things like fragmenting or tumbling rounds have on wounding - IIRC, 6.5 doesn't have any mechanisms to increase wounding potential, and was considered by MMW to be good at reaching extreme range, but not wounding back there.

I'd be happier if they were using live goats for the tests.

Ballistics gelatin is not flesh, so it's rather relative tbh.

It has the same consistency. Quit being such a debbie downer.

It doesn't really.

It'd be more accurate to use goats and study the results of the shot through autopsy.

But that's probably never going to happen again because of terrible, anti-science people like PETA.

Strasbourg tests were not unethical.

The main reason for the greater lethality of rifle rounds compared to handgun rounds is probably the much bigger temporary cavity.
Remember when Allanea posted the picture of a human leg hit by the M193 bullet on NSD? The femur broke even though the bullet missed it.

As for stopping power, that is purely psychological.

If I was allowed to carry I would carry a pistol with big, loud muzzle blast, something that says "I JUST SHOT YOU D:<".
