PRINCE GIVES SPEECH ON THE FOUNDATION OF NYSA
With the fall of the Humanitarian League has come new opportunity, according to Prince Iosac II in his speech to Parliament ealier today.

Prince Iosac II has presented his State of the Nation speech to parliament today, on the eve of the fall of the Humanitarian League and Kingborough's move to Nysa. Outlining the situation which led to the alliances fall, he has promised that "Kingborough will give everything we have to stop the same happening to Nysa". He also went on to promise that the nation will not be falling back into isolation again.


"As a founding member of Nysa, Kingborough will be heavily involved in assisting our interim President, the government of Battlion, in designing the new alliance and I hope we can use this to assure that the organization will have a secure future, for the benefit of all." He stated.


Most political parties in Kingborough have agreed with the Prince's decision to abandon the metaphorical sinking ship of the previous alliance, but the Communist Party leadership has criticised him for "cowardice, just plain stinking cowardice".
It is unknown at this point if Kingborough will stand for government office in Nysa.


In other news, Duchess Anastasia has legalised consensual cannibalism, suicide and public nudity and sex in the Duchy of Novyi Rus, earning her further praise from her citizens and condemnation from the Prince for her "hellish policies".

Zamonia departs HL for Nysa
Krabowski announces move after the "diplomatic shitstorm in the HL that occured".

It was announced after only an extremley short amount of time that Zamonia would leave the Humanitarian League. This was decided in an emergency joint session after a diplomatic crisis in the Humanitarian League saw it fall to pieces. A statement at 11pm from the office of the President saw the decision to move to the newly formed Nysa region. There has been footage obtained from the Joint Session, a speech made by President Byran Krabowski.

"I have seen the diplomatic shitstorm in the HL that has occured, and I believe we must depart. We have little influence within the politics of that region and many of our allies have already departed, they have jumped a sinking ship. We have no use by staying there, and the region will find little benefit by us staying put. It is pretty obvious, therefore, that we must move and accept the failure of the Humanitarian League. We must evolve, adapt, move on, as we are only holding ourselves back by staying on a sinking ship."

He went on to reccomend that they moved to Nysa. "I believe that we must ensure the diplomatic crisis that occured within the Humanitarian League never occurs again. I therefore propose we start a new with our allies, who have formed the new region Nysa. The work will be without a doubt hard work but we have a chance to be part of something truly unique and special, we can create something. Yes, we can move to a large region but we will be droned under the diplomatic heavyweights, under an aparethid of a few power hungry nations controlling the majority, is that, then, what you want? Either a region of tyranny by minority or a new region with established allies and a hope for creating a new and brilliant thing? Members of Parliament, Senators, I pass the power of choice to you. The Joint Chamber will decide the fate, I bloody well hope whatever the decision, it is the right one."

The Joint Chamber unaimiously voted for Nysa, and have immediately moved.

MARINETTE FALLS-An emergency session was called today in Parliament in both the Senate and House of Commons to discuss Millerainian involvement in the crumbling Humanitarian League. Noting the heated rhetoric and increasing hostility of nations in the League, Millerainian Parliament passed leaving the Humanitarian League, which was signed by the Prime Minister in the early afternoon.

"The Humanitarian League has stopped being, well humanitarian. It's personal assaults against world leaders is appalling and unprofessional. We will not wait until Millerainia is the next victim of the ruthlessness of the political banter of the Humanitarian League. I am voting for leaving the Humanitarian League" stated Senator Lucy Rice in a speech to the Senate.

In search for a new region, Millerainia followed previous members Battlion and Kingborough to a new region, Nysa, which was approved by Parliament and Prime Minister Grayson to join late last night.

Millerainians woke up, feeling no different, but the flag of HL were all removed and the flag of Nysa was put in it's place. Millerainians are looking at this as a new beginning.

"Nysa will be a perfect fit for Millerainia, as we are going to be rudimental in it's development." Prime Minister Grayson said in a statement.

In a semi-controversial move, the House and Senate have voted in favor of the move to the Nysa region. While their speeches were different, both the President and Vice-President urged Congress to vote in favor of the move. "We have been a part of the South Pacific region for a while, for no apparent reason other than it was convenient. Now is the time to move forward, and we can best begin by joining this new region." President Falco stated before the House.

A 56% majority voted in favor of the move in the House. But the Senate was a different story. Vice-President Valerio, serving as the President of the Senate, had to cast the tie-breaking vote after a 35-35 vote.

Many believe that this move had other motives besides the socio-economical-political gains for the country; this could have been an opportune moment to help Valerio's chances in the upcoming Presidential elections. Currently third in the polls, but rising, thanks to this measure, Valerio still has to fight past New Tomorrow candidate Jacopo Tosto, and Patriarch and businessman of the mysterious business group La Famiglia, Don-Fortunato Vicario, who is running as an Unaffiliated.

The Senate of Roxinas today announced a unaminous result to join the region Nysa with a result of 498-2 with the only members opposed were those who were strict Zombie Party members who preferred the nation remain in limbo and unmoving to the sun. President Kernel however approved the move and said that the move would be the best thing for Roxinas and Roxinan's in a long time and intended to make sure that the region was a success firstly by voting for measures in the future Nysan Parliament and effectively bringing in regional law that could benefit those in Roxinas AND around the region.

President Kernel was hopeful today that Nysa would be a success and urged all nations of the region to work together despite cultural differences to spread the furtherment of democracy and protection of human rights. As pictured below

SILVER SHORE- The big day came for the two famous lovebirds of the nation on Saturday. Prime Minister Daniel Grayson and his fiancee Emily Thorne wed in a private ceremony behind his family's beach house in the seaside vacation town of Silver Shore, a popular destination for Iron Hollow Metro residents.

The couple was joined by immediate friends, family, and other famous friends totaling 50 people in all. Grayson, whose family owns the famous Grayson Global Company that works in investments surprised the nation when he decided that a more subtle wedding was preferred to his family's usual extravagant parties.

Not much is known about Thorne, other than that Grayson and her met just last year and she is very private.Reporters could only catch a few pictures of any of the guests, before they were escorted off the premises by security officials. Sources say Thorne wore a Meradith Bradford dress.

They were married by the local Catholic priest Father James O'Heary, who is from the local St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Ellen. Monday, Prime Minister Grayson gave an interview to MNN reporter Lucille Janser on Monday.

Grayson: "Well a little, I mean I have this extra ring on my finger now.. "
Janser: "So what are your future plans? Do you plan to start a family with children?"

Grayson: "No, I have my duty to the Millerainian people. It's sure we can make a foreign trip as a mock honeymoon, but we will eventually take one."

Grayson: "Thank you, it's great knowing you'll be able to be with someone you love for the rest of your life."

Chartres, SYLTHERIA - In a surprise announcement, the Prime Minister, Jean Douriac (Roy.), announced the government's intent to formally join the Nysan Organisation, or as it is better known in Syltheria, as l'Organisation de Nysé (ON). This comes at a time when the Syltherean government has sworn non-intervention and near political isolation, and the opposition was quick to lambast the move as nothing more than "backdoor dealings" and "political intrigue".

"Yes, we're located in Nysa, definitely; but we have to ask ourselves, why did Ms. Douriac move to join the Nysan Organisation, and why now?" said Nicholas Bouchard (Pop.), leader of the opposition. "We can only conclude that this was the conclusion of backdoor dealings, some shady political intrigue that seeks to weaken Syltherean national sovereignty and our growing economy. Syltheria shouldn't have more international obligations, especially financial and obligations, when its obligations to its people should take precedence. The ON looks harmless enough now, but in the future, it will call for Syltherean aid and Syltherean money, and Syltheria would be obligated to respond."

After yesterday's press conference announcing the government's intent, the Prime Ministerial Office has simply proclaimed that it does "all in the interest of the Syltherean people, despite what Mr. Bouchard will say to the contrary." It is thought that His Majesty, King Adelbert II, has secretly endorsed this idea, but the King's Office could not be reached.

Syltheria, a landlocked nation of twenty-six thousand people mostly reliant on tourism and agricultural imports, may stand to gain something from this arrangement. However, public opinion is divided; only 52% of the nation believe that the goverment is making the right choice, making this decision one of the few times the Royalist government has gone incredibly close against public opinion to institute changes they felt necessary to better Syltheria's position and economy.

However, it is widely believed that this wouldn't change predictions of the upcoming Prime Ministerial elections, especially as the Royalist Party has made incredible changes to the nation, planning the construction of a central bank and international airport to replace aging private institutions, to widespread public support.

Exactly how much Syltheria stands to gain from joining ON, however, remains to be seen.

Sovreignry Establishes Holdings in Nysa

The Nation of Sovreignry has established holdings in the newly formed region of Nysa. "We felt that Nysa was the right region and that this is the right time for us to become bigger in the international scene." King Reginald said in a press release announcing the new expansion. "We feel that the new region of Nysa has a bright future ahead of it and that it will lead to some great opportunities for our great nation."

Prime Minister Joe Wilson of the Sovreignian Conservative Party released a statement saying that "Parliament had already voted in the treaty" with the voting almost entirely along party lines with the Prime Minister's party voting for and the Radical Liberals voting against. The Centrist party was slightly split, with all but four of their members voting for.

"This treaty is bad for Sovreignry and should never have been passed." Railed Radical Liberals leader Stan Macmillan "Sovreignry should never subject itself to outside influence."

When asked for comment Prime Minister Wilson said "We can't stay isolationist when it comes to our regions. We have been in the WA before and subjected ourselves to an outside organization. This is just grand standing by the opposition of my government. And furthermore if Mister Macmillan didn't want the treaty to pass he shouldn't have pissed off so many Centrist party members attempting to ram through a bill to get rid of third parties."

When told of Prime Minister Wilson's comments Centrist Party leader Rubeus Fudge responded, "It's true, most of our members are still not happy about that and many of us still refuse to work with Mister Macmillan's party."

The Radical Liberal Party leadership refused to respond to this latest response.

Constitution of The Nysan Organisation Ratified - Michael Quinn Stands for Nysan President

The Prime Minister announced today that The Constitution of The Nysan Organisation had finally been approved and announced his plan to ratify it in Parliament later that day, following an intense debate and strict opposition from Battlion National Front and The Communist Party to reject the plan the motion was approved by The House of Commons by a majority of 609-39-2 and through the Senate by a majority of 991-4-5.

Queen Sophie I approved the acceptance of the Constitution and said that she would fully support The Nysan Organisation and would pledge that as long as she reigned she would block any attempt to pull out of the region if it ever came to be so.

Upon the Approval of The Constitution the Prime Minister today announced the government supported candidate for President of The Nysan Organisation to Parliament, the Candidate Michael Quinn has described himself as "Pro-Business, Pro-Civil Rights and Pro-Nysa" and would support the region through all it shall do and make sure that the institution was ran fairly and with strength.

Following a unanimous vote in the Senate and a similar supporting vote from each State's House of Representatives, Warpia has moved to the Region of Nysa. The purpose of the move was to leave slow and bloated bureaucracy, in which the voice of Warpia could not be heard, and allow Warpia and it's people to take a more active role in their region. The beliefs of Nysa match that of the Protectorate and as a member, Warpia stands ready to uphold them.

Elections for the 18th President are underway in Cielomare. This election is unique, as all national political parties are being represented. It is also the first election to feature two pairs of candidates that are related, all running for different parties. Alfonso Idoni, representing the United Socialists Party for the second time is joined this year by his younger brother Carmine, representing the troubled Federation of Confederates, who is making his first Presidential bid.

But, unknown to many outside Cielomare, is the second pair of relatives. Unaffiliated Don-Fortunato Vicario and Green Party Candidate Adrianna Lamberti are related. Specifically, she is Vicario's oldest daughter.

Voting and tallying is expected to be completed Friday.

Millerainia Appoints Delegate for Future Nysa Parliament

MARINETTE FALLS- With the constitution of Nysa passing, Millerainia is preparing the set up of Parliament of the Nysan Organization with the appointment of an official delegate to the parliament who will represent Millerainia in the Parliament. In a ceremony in Winter Garden Plaza, Prime Minister Grayson officially appointed Argentina Williams to be the delegate of Millerainia in Nysa Parliament.

Argentina is 33 years old and is currently Governor of Maylen District, which includes the city of Massatauqua. She is a graduate of the Webber University in Rockbend. She previously served as mayor of Massatauqua, and of neighboring city of Jacobson. Argentina is a member of the Liberty Party, the same party as the Prime Minister, and is a high profile member in the Millersport Area.

Argentina was seen as a great selection because she represents Millerainia very evenly. She is young, fresh and modern like Millerainia itself. She will be in control of 1 vote in the Nysan Organization Parliament, and will represent the views and goals of Millerainia.

"Argentina is a woman who I can see someday leading this country." said the Liberty Party Majority Leader of the Millersport Area, Robert Johnson said to reporters after the official news was released. "She is strong willed and is very dedicated to her country and causes." he concluded.

However, some members of Parliament are wary. Representative Brenda Oak of the Millerainian Interests Party views the decision as step in the wrong direction. "She is inexperienced in foreign policy, and has barely seen what this nation has been through in the past 40 years. She is simply too young." she stated. Edward Sully of the Green Party agreed with the representative's words, adding that he "hopes the Prime Minister will reconsider someone who is looking out for Millerainia as a whole, not just large cities."

Nevertheless, Millerainian Prime Minister Grayson has confirmed that Argentina will be the representative of Millerainia in Parliament, despite the recent backlash on the decision.

Asgardz departs Centrasia for Nysa

After a very lengthy and strenuous debate, the Imperial Senate of Asgardz decided in favor for moving Asgardz to Nysa. The vote count was 556 – For, 214 – Against.

“We are located in Nysa, but we did not officially join the Nysan Organisation till today because of Internal Debates. The reason why we joined now is that the recent changes of policy in the region of Centrasia has made our resolve stronger to join the Nysan Organisation, though many of us are departing Centrasia with grief.” said a senator who wished to remain unnamed.

Chancellor Antonio Barca on the other hand seemed very enthusiastic and happy to join the region of Nysa. “I have met President Quinn on several occasions in International Conferences and am very happy that our great nation will join a region which is governed by such capable hands.”

His Excellency, Most Royal Highness, Emperor Oden Borssen expressed his approval of the motion passed and hoped that Asgardz will become an integral part of the Nysan Organization : “ I support the motion that the Senate has passed for moving Asgardz into Nysa and sincerely hope that our great nation will become an integral and core part of the Nysan Organization.

The Commerce Guild has expressed great hope of an open Commercial System that will benefit both Nysa and Asgardz.

In celebration of this great event, 1st August have been declared to be a National Holiday.
The people have taken to the streets in celebration of this Union and the motto “Long Live the Emperor, Long live The Union” has become a commonplace.

The official spokesperson of the Imperial Senate had added in an ending note that an Official Delegate from the nation of Asgardz will soon be sent to the region of Nysa to Represent Asgardz.

Artanili Datium joins the Nysan Organization

As of August First, Two Thousand and Twelve, the Marshar'illian Regime has joined the Nysan Organization. The Move which was perpetrated by the higher ups of the government did not come as a surprise to most members of the Artanili Populace, it had come as a surprise to many that Artanili Datium had joined the organization so late due to the fact that Artanili Datium while being in a more secluded nation within Nysa had still had decent contact and relations with other Nysan State. The Move had received heavy criticism from more of the Isolationist portions of Artanili Government however most government officials support the measure and do not plan on pulling the Regime out of the organization for a long time.

What came of a surprise to most however was that High Marshar Devan Kalian did not veto the act, he is a known Artanili Isolationist and believes that Artanili Datium should not join suprenational organizations like the Nysan Organization, however he has lately been making concessions to his own party which believes in joining international organizations and having Artanili Datium become a major player on the world stage. First High Marshar Deven Kalian signed into acceptance that Artanili could apply to the International Union of Equality and Freedom whenever the Foreign Offices saw fit to do so and now he has ordered the joining of the Nysan Organization in which Artanili Datium had a long standing offer.

Falsea joins Nysa after the fallout with Orleania

After much ado and debate, chairman Anderson, with support from the state party and a majority of the national assembly, has finally decided the new action of the People's Republic after the monstrous disagreements between Falsea and Orleania. Earlier today, the chairman, in a nationwide address, stated that the time of oppression, belittlement and ignorance will finally be ended.

But what shocked the people the most was the decision to leave the United Republic of Allied States, and moving to Nysa. The announcement was received with mixed reactions, but most of this is positive. In a survey conducted by the Bureau of Demographics, 79% of the whole Falsean population said that the decision was "for the better".

Yet the 21% that disagreed said that the state party is being overreacting to the situation, resulting in a further insinuation and deterioration of Falsea-Orleania relations. Orleanian citizens in Falsea are also being deported back to their country, if not already being taken back by the Orleanian government.

No reactions have been taken from the Orleanian government yet, but many suspect that Orleania, in the end, will come to accept that Falsea is no longer it's child, it's puppet, it's lesser half. With these new steps, the Falsean government hopes for a brighter future, one not marred by the mocking of the People's Republic by a larger state. Stay tuned for further updates.

Government Budget Released

MARINETE FALLS- The Executive Ministry released it's annual budget report of government spending on ministries. The report noted some surprising things.

The Millerainian Government's budget is M$2,232,012,138,556.92, and the top spenders are education, defense and commerce. Surprisingly though, the report released that Millerainia is the top spender for three things in the regions.

Millerainia spends more than any nation on the environment, the report said. At $3.34 trillion, Millerainia spends more than 2 trillion more than the next highest spender, Zamonia. Millerainia has the largest system of National Parks and Preserves, something Millerainia is very proud of and gives generously to.

Millerainia also spends the most on social equality, with a budget of $2.67 trillion, above Roxinas that is spending $504.65 billion.

But most surprisingly is Millerainia's defense budget. At a whopping $10.02 trillion, Millerainia outspends larger nations on military spending. The closest competitor, Battlion, is $2 trillion off.

Many Millerainians wonder why Millerainia spends so much, for being a smaller country of 75 million citizens compared to the billions of people living in Battlion. Why does Millerainia need such a big military? Minister of Defense Jacob Craft was available for an interview and stated that "Millerainia needs to make sure it's citizens feel safe. And we are successful at that! We are the safest nation in the nation, that only proves why we need such a big military budget."

It has also earned her condemnation from most of the rest of Kingborough, including the Prince. All of this has been made possibly by a clause in the law that means Novyi Rus is not under federal law until it is given representation in Parliament.

Duchess Anatasia, what was your inspiration for your new "paradise of debauchery"?

I read a book a long time ago, when I was a teenager, about such a place - where people could do what they wanted, and I guess I just wished that such a place could exist. Novyi Rus is based off that work.

What do you think of the Prince's condemnations?

He is allowed his opinion, and I can understand that this disagrees with his morals, but then on the same standard these are my morals and it is my opinion so neither of us is really wrong or right - it is just a different way to live. I'm sad though that the federal government dislikes my great achievements.

What are your future plans for Novyi Rus?

Well I currently have a bill under drafting to legalise incest, and gay marriage. I am also dedicated to completing the construction of New Muscovy city, and bringing in more immigrants from other lands. The Lord Protector has been released from hospital two days after undergoing an emergency heart operation. The early morning departure came after he thanked medical staff for what was described as his excellent care.

Although there have been rumours of heart problems in the past, the chest pains he experienced last Wednesday evening and the operation – officially described as a "minimally invasive procedure" to insert a metal mesh stent tube into his coronary artery to improve the flow of blood – have been by far the most serious signs of ill health in the head of state.

Palace officials and medical staff will meet in the coming days to discuss the implications of the scare for the Lord Protector’s future movements, although they may not particularly relish confronting him with the need to scale back his activities.
