Formally a great city constructed for the ancient Gods of Lordran, Anor Londo went into despair during the Undeath Plague, which brought terror to the cities inhabitants, and the entire continent. Anor Londo would become a bastion of beauty to those who could glance at it, however it too fell into darkness, within time the ancient city would be cleared out, and its hostile residents defeated by an old legend, the "Chosen Undead".

A century or so after said legend rekindled the first flame, the world was once again in danger of warping once again, and being swept by an undead plague once more. However due to the warping of time and space of this time, it allowed travelers from through the realms to arrive. The Dovah and what remains of their loyal kin have arrived from the end of their own Mundus, and discovered this strange realm to inhabit. The Dovah and their army quickly go out to begin anew in this strange and deadly land.

After much time of hardship and conquest, the former territory of Lordran and its great capital fall upon the Dovah.

The city was rebuilt, enchanted, empowered, what remained of its peaceful or reasonable inhabitants were sworn under the new leadership, and a Empire was formed by the signing of the age of Dovah, with the kiln of the first flame being eternally lit, by the eternal soul of a Dovah firekeeper. The arrival of the Dovah and their thralls advanced much of the home worlds technology and understandings of science and sorceries. Anor Londo itself became a great capital for all citizens to share and love, and it was improved, made safe, larger.

A new library was constructed for scientist to study, a great college was constructed to teach, barracks and fortresses made, and the throne of the new Empire made within the former halls of the ancient goddess Gwynavere. In the 4th century after the initial Dovah take over, Anor Londo became a true seat of power, the concepts of binding documents that the government must follow was constructed, though this only follows to mortal governance over themselves.

There exist five powerful noble families in The Dragon Empire, each will have a chance to run for the role of Emperor after the current Emperor passes on, or another situation results in their loss of power. A Council creates laws and the Emperor proceeds to decide if they go through. Though the Grand Hierarch, Paarthurnax can cancel any action if he perceives it to be ill advised. Anor Londo is constructed to last for centuries, and it is the hope of the Dovah, the Emperor, and the civilizations citizens, that Anor Londo will never fall into despair once more, now that the world is seemingly starting to calm down.
