It only lasted a week before it collapsed in a confusing series of political struggles and other various events and the nerds had to leave after local police intervened. Now, the ranch is a bit of a tourist spot as some visit to see the site of the incident, widely renown on the Saurisian internet.

The primary social organizational unit of the canid-like Vulfyrs and Vrakels (collectively the Vs) is, in an extremely stereotypical and cliche way, the pack. Of course, there are major differences from the wolf packs of Earth. Packs also generally range from 4 members at a minimum, to around 40 at a maximum. Outliers of extreme size do exist, but they are very rare.

V packs are primarily organized along attraction rather than blood relationship, though blood relationship does not preclude one from sharing a pack. While the relationship between packmates is not quite as tight as that between lovers, there are clear parallels. Both packs and romantic couples often provide mutual child rearing, both packs and romantic couples are mythologically life-long but realistically often are not, and both packs and romantic couples often involve sex. The key difference is intensity. What someone feels towards their packmates, they also feel towards their lover but in a far more extreme way. It's almost entirely an emotional difference, and so actual examples are difficult to come up with.

V packs do not have an 'alpha', instead usually listening to different people depending on the current issue. Some individuals are definitely more influential than the others, but rarely to the point of outright dominating the pack. The few that are to that point are usually in very small packs and are often very abrasive and aggressive individuals.

V packs are usually formed during adolescence, though some do form outside of it. Usually packs require long-term contact and emotional intimacy, with physical intimacy also helping, but they can also be created from a shared experience of an extremely emotionally charged event, with the most common two being terror and victory. Such packs are referred to as fire-forged and are often very powerful but limited, generally being second to one's primary pack.

Traditionally, most Minrozians practiced shamanism and animism, worshiping the skies, the forests and the seas known as Minrozian folk religions. Minroz has long been a cradle and host to a variety of the most enduring religio-philosophical traditions of Iclamia, perhaps the universe. The majority holds Ajaran-Murrnism as their faith. Ajaran-Murnism and Islam, plus Taoism, constitute the “three teachings”, philosophical frameworks which historically have had a significant role in shaping Minrozian culture.
