History

Ancient History

Kleomentia did not exist in the ancient period. However, Serbian tribes, that some centuries later formed the Kleomentian tribes did exist. The first Serbs that were on the land that is today called Kleomentia(The Kleomentian peninsula) and also the first Serbs on Slavya itself came in 324 BC. This is also why the Kleomentian Peninsula today is also called "The Birth place of Slavyan Serbs". They arrived on the Kleomentian peninsula by small boats called "Kiyni". One Kiyni boat was able to hold 9 people and two crates of resources(food, water, clothes). It could also reach a maximum speed of 100 MPH. It was mobile and the Serbian tribes that were handling it were using techniques passed on from generation to generation.

At the "First Great Landing", the first arrival of the Serbian tribes, approximately 3500 people came. Mostly men and women, but almost no children. Seeing as the road was dangerous and long. The Serbs sailed from a distant continent, away approximately 2700 kilometers. They left searching for new land to colonize, as a empire ruling over that continent was falling in chaos and they were running away from a civil war.

When they came to Slavya, they found a rich land full of forests and animals. The land seemed to lack other humans, or at least thats how it seemed. They settled near the coast, and after a decade made a smaller town Wasnakz. Soon after that, more were coming to Slavya, fleeing from the chaos at their homeland. In just three years Wasnakz had a population of 15000, and other towns were started to be made. Jovan Strojik was put as the leader of the growing civilization on the coast of the Kleomentian peninsula. Five years after the "Second Great Landing" a nation was founded on the Kleomentian peninsula. Serbaya was ruled by Duke Jovan Strojik and was home to 95000 people. But as it grew further and further west of the coast, people of Serbaya realized that they were not alone on Slavya. Other civilizations, more advanced than Serbaya.

Duke Jovan entered friendly relations with other nations present in Slavya. Establishing trade routes and even marriages between the royal families. Entering into war with anyone of them seemed awfully stupid, partly because Serbaya didnt have a proper military and partly because there was no need for war. Serbaya grew rich in the times of profitable trade with others, soon it developed a military of 20,000 soldiers. Mostly light cavalry and spearmen with little training. However, at the time, the military also served as the police so it was good enough to keep any possible revolt at bay.

Later in 301 Jovan was crowned King and Serbaya became a Kingdom and with a military of 50,000 organized and well trained medium cavalry and infantry. The military was made out of the army and the navy. The navy was made out of 5,000 ships while the army was made out of 10 legions. Every legion had 5,000 men in it. They would have plate armor, a long sword, a medium spear and a round shield with the Serbayan coat of arms on it.

Until 0 BC Serbaya continued to exist as such growing larger and richer. However every ruler was from a different dynasty, mostly because every ruler would die before having a son. And all of the times they would die in battle in a average age of 35.


Medieval History

In 52 AD King Milovan I Vrbovac took over Serbaya. He's kingdom was larger than ever before. Stretching along all of the Kleomentian peninsula and having four colonies far away from the fatherland. Also advancing in science and having greater urban cities. Serbayans enjoyed a life that could have only been seen in a small amount of nations. King Milovan was also the first King who had a royal dynasty, as he was succeeded by his son, and his son by his grandson and so on.

Later in 567 Serbaya was a world superpower and a colonial force. Having numerous colonies and vassals over the world, being advanced in many ways with a rich and superb economy and also with a powerful military of one million soldiers. Most of the soldiers were not Serbayan, but recruits from around the world. All of that power under the rule of King Ivan II Vrbovac who had a plan of taking over Slavya who was, at the time, full of issues. However he's plans were stopped by a population revolt lead one of his closest servants, Despot Marko Djaković who was against Serbaya attacking its Slavyan friends. Soon, Despot Marko gathered a force of 70,000 soldiers. And seeing how a lot of the Serbayan army was far away from home, taking new lands and watching over colonies, only about 180,000 soldiers of the Serbayan military was in Serbaya or nearby.

In 582, finally, a great civil war was started in Serbaya. A civil war which is today known as "Kleomentian birth war". In 588 the war was over, King Ivan was killed in battle by Despot Marko and the Vrbovac dynasty was dead. Despot Marko won the war and was crowned King of Serbaya. Soon, he changed the name of Serbaya to Kleomentia. Kleomentia was a name of a old Serbian tribe who first settled in Slavya. The name Kleomentia is a ancient Serbian name literally meaning "Wolf's Realms", mostly because the Kleomentian tribes always had wolves as their pets and used them for many purposes. Marko was also a descendant from ancient Kleomentians and King Jovan Strojik who was also a Kleomentian.

Soon, Marko crowned himself Czar of Kleomentia and made a new law book of Kleomentia(from which most laws are used in modern Kleomentia). Marko Djaković died in 604 in his 57th year of life. His only son, Obren Djaković, inherited the throne and was crowned Czar of Kleomentia. He ruled for over 46 years, which was the longest any Serbayan or Kleomentian leader ruled by that time, with a iron fist yet he was loved by the people. When he passed away his eldest son, Nemanja Djaković, came to the throne and changed his last name to Obrenčević in honor of his father Obren who was counted as one of the best rulers.

In 670 AD Kleomentia was one of the biggest economic and colonial empires in the world. A golden age has come to Kleomentia, advanced technology taken from all over the world and income which would have been once just a dream, too good to be true. However, all benefits carry their duties. As a superpower, Kleomentia is envied by a lot of the world, many wanting to take it down and pillage it. Saying that it is their right and that Kleomentia has no place in international politics nor anything out of "their ignorant homeland".

But Kleomentia proves to be a powerful opponent and takes down most of its enemies, making others vassals. This, of course, takes some time, up to three years. Kleomentia now prospers more than ever, and it seems it will never end. In 701 the Kleomentian government decides to rest its people from all the wars and enters a time of total peace. But not all goes by plan, a new and powerful country arises in a far away land. A Chinese nation with a great military, and a arrogant overlord ruling it and taking nearby countries. It stands as a threat to Kleomentia, who wishes to stop with wars and enter peace.

The Kleomentian government try to form friendly relations with Jugiacan(the chinese empire) to ensure it is left out of the war. At first, Jugiacan doesnt mind Kleomentia. But after a year it officially declares war on Kleomentia. A period which was planned to be centuries of peace is only 3 years of peace. Kleomentia enters a darker period now, where two great forces charge at each other.

At 704 Kleomentia prepares all of its troops on a great defense. All of its colonies are taking the highest

Economy

The economy of Kleomentia is very organized and is controlled by the government. The economic system is Capitalist. The government canceled welfare and privatized it. Every day in the chambers of the Economy Council and the Ministry of Economy there is something to discuss about to make the economy better. Funding is pointed at firstly the Military,Law and Order,Healthcare and than education. Military and the Police, Food companies, Hospitals and Schools are owned by the government while most of the electric and water companies are owned by private organizations. The government works hard to make new trade routs. 95% of the population live great lives and have more than enough money. The wealthy percentage of the population is 43% while the nobility, who are even more wealthy, is 11% of the population(which is a rather large number). The unemployment is 4,7%, but they receive money from the welfare programs in order to live a normal life.

There is next to no homeless people in Kleomentia. Those who are homeless can find a lot of centers for the poor which give food and similar. There are also homeless centers, funded partly by the government and partly by private organizations and corporations which provide a roof and warm shelter to the homeless.

Military and Police

The military of Kleomentia is organized and highly trained. The government gives a lot of funds to the military to a sure that Kleomentia is safe from other nations. Currently the army is about 455 million soldiers ready to defend their homeland. Standard class soldiers go to a training of 3 years. The high class one have a training of 4 years. Elites have a training of 5 years while special forces have a training of 6 and 7 years. All civilian men of Kleomentia are part of the National Army where they have to serve for at least 2 years. They can continue to be soldiers there if they want but do not have to. The military of Kleomentia is one of it's important thing since Kleomentians have been warriors from their founding. The only intelligence agency in Kleomentia is I.B.A.(Informativna Bezbednosna Agencija/Informative Security Agency) that exists from the year 1635 and is a giant agency that has millions of members. Kleomentia uses the latest weapons for their soldiers to make sure they don't fall behind other nations. Along with the military the police of Kleomentia is very advanced as well. There are 100 million policemen and policewomen in the state which makes sure that the crime level is at the minimum. A government organization that includes elite special force is U.S.F.C.(United Special Forces Corps). They exist from the year 1756. They have a lot of special forces units and all in all 50 million men strong.

Government

The government of Kleomentia is monarchist with very little democratic parts. It means that the people have 2 staffs and a council. There are also a lot of government staffs and councils. But the one who decides everything is the Czar. The lowest civil staff is the Common Staff who almost anyone can join. They think of small ideas for things like should there be a night light in some street. Than if the idea passes the vote it goes to the Higher Staff where there are civilians of higher class or people from the Common Staff who have worked hard. If the vote passes then it goes to the Peoples Council who's members are owners of fabrics or organization or people who worked really hard in the Higher Staff. When the vote passes that it goes to the Peoples Governor who decides if it will be done or not. The other government staffs and councils decide on bigger matters like a change in education, military and such. If the vote passes all government staffs and councils then the Czar decides if it will be done or not. People have the freedom to do what they want with their money but they must contribute to society by working. To ensure good heirs the Czar school and academy has been made in the year 1653 by the order of the Holy Czar Andrej Obrenčević. There the heir learns how to rule properly and make his state good. After the death of a Czar his eldest son gets the throne and becomes the Czar. The Czar has total power over all of Kleomentia. After the Czar comes the Warlord who is like a co-Czar. He helps the Czar and deals with the problems the Czar does not have time for. He is also the co-head of the government and is like a deputy to the Czar. After the Warlord comes the Senate that thinks of ideas for the state and how to solve higher problems. The idea goes to the Warlord and to the Czar. The Warlord gives his opinion and the Czar decides. After the Senate comes the Ministers that all work for their subjects. The Patriarch who is also the head of the church has a voice inside the Senate as well, he is considered as "God's senator". Of course none actually believe that he can speak with God but for political reasons he still has a voice. The nation does not have parties but it has an order that leads it. The Order of Wolves, which is lead by the Czar. Is a big military and political order. It rules the nation truly for 350 years now. It is respected by the people and by national allies. Kleomentia is an Imperial "Federation" because it is made out Kleomentia and a few counties conquered in the "Viktor's Rebellion" war. While Kleomentia is the only nation in the federation the counties are not binded into Kleomentia for sovereign reasons.

Kleomentia tries to keep good relations with other nations. Kleomentia has ambassadors in much nations. Donation are sent to other nations, trade rights and such. But of course there is always someone who wants more land and declares war on Kleomentia. In this situation Kleomentia forgives and gives the other nation a second chance. But after it's citizens being attacked Kleomentia does not stop until the enemy is defeated. Highly trained diplomats are sent to make sure that Kleomentia is in friendly relations with other nations. The oldest and best Kleomentian ally and friend is The Polish People's Republic of Polska rzczpolspolita. Kleomentia and Polska have always been there for each other and are great friends. There are other Slavic and non Slavic nations that Kleomentia is friends with. If some nation tries to annex Kleomentia, Kleomentia would react immediately and stopped the annexation. If a small innocent, it doesn't have to be small though, Kleomentia will come to help it. If it's resources allow it. Although Kleomentia is a nation who mostly fought in it's history, what Kleomentia really wants is peace. It is just bad luck that it run into nations ho were thirsty for blood. Of course, Kleomentia has a charity donation for ravaged and poor nations that it has opened with another old ally Severna Crvena Zvezda. The amount of money in the safe is more than enough to please a request of plea from a nation in need, thanks to the unselfish donations of other nations as well as Kleomentia.

Healthcare

Kleomentia's government do their best to make sure that their people have good healthcare. The hospitals are under government control. There more than enough hospitals to cover the population. Healthcare is free for every citizen of Kleomentia who has a National Card. Foreign people have to pay for healthcare but if it is an urgent operation or such and the foreign citizen will be given a free operation. Doctors are highly trained to make sure that the people get the best treatment. Also the medical equipment is very advanced and the latest that the global market has to offer. There is very very little percentage of people who suffer from strong diseases like cancer and such. But Kleomentia has cures for even that. It is a longer process but it works. Scientists of Kleomentia work every day to make new and better medical equipment for the populace and the government.

Culture

The culture in Kleomentia is one of things Kleomentia is most proud of. Firstly, the buildings and architecture in Kleomentia is very beautiful and urban. Respecting all cultural and art rules. It is a very very odd thing to see a building that has not been renewed for 7 years. The government works hard to make sure that culture is high in Kleomentia. Artists are highly respected and paid. They are considered a higher class of the society and most of them are members of the Higher Staff and some of them are members of even the Peoples Council. But not anyone can become an artist in Kleomentia. There are a lot of hard schools and universities that people have to pass until they get the tittle 'Artist'. Many world known great artists came from Kleomentia. There are a lot of great museums, theaters and such in Kleomentia where one can learn about art and become culturally educated. Also music and movies are made every month in Kleomentia and must pass inspections and tests to see if they fit in the culture of Kleomentia and if have some vulgar scenes are censored. All citizens in Kleomentia are culturally educated and respect culture.

Geography

Kleomentia's size is about 23,861,205km². which is pretty big for a nation with a population of 2.5 billion. Vukograd itself is home 135 million people and is part of a megalopolis Vukocent. It is called like that because it goes from Vukograd to Centrovac. In it there are also big cities like Raske, Karlodvor, Sornic and Kleomentijska Mitrovica. The megalopolis itself has 683 million people in it. The relief type of Kleomentia is half mountainous and half flat grassy. A small part is tropical. Kleomentia has 3 seas(Kleomentian Sea, Sarov Sea, South Sea), one ocean(Slavic Ocean) and 57 rivers. The average Kleomentian height is 170 meters above sea level. Kleomentia is located at the Kleomentian peninsula and some more land around the peninsula along with the nearby islands. The biggest river that goes trough the capital city is Milovoda. Named after all of the wolves ho live near the river. There are 3 lakes in Kleomentia. The biggest is the lake Kilejna. The other two are Serdum and Pendula. The climate of Kleomentia is a bit hot but is cold in Northern parts.

In the southern parts the normal winter temperature is from 7c to -5c, while on the summer the southern part temperature is from 42c to 32c. In the central part the normal winter temperature is from 2c to -9c, while on the summer the central part temperature is from 37c to 30c. In the northern part the normal winter temperature is from -5c to -22c, while on the summer the southern part temperature is from 23c to 15c. The highest point in Kleomentia is Mount Sarov with the height of 7,856 meters. It is located in the east part of the northern Kleomentia. Kleomentia's land is very much habitable and is full of resources like:wood,metals,minerals, oil,animals,flora and such. In it is mostly not a place of natural disasters. There are a few earthquakes that occur on the Russian part and every once in 12 years there is a small tsunami on the southern coast but there are no serious disasters caused by mother Earth. Education

The education in Kleomentia is very high. The percentage of uneducated people in Kleomentia is 0,002% of the population. 87% of the population has a diploma of universities. While the rest have college diplomas. The education system in Kleomentia is very hard and there is a lot studying to be done if you want to at least have a high school diploma and that makes sure that the population is educated and can work and have good lives and contribute to society. Education is free, the only thing that is not free is the university which must be paid 2,000 dinars(3,600 NSD) per 2 years. Most universities last about 5 years so the total is 5,000 dinars. Which is not cheap nor expensive. The populace is thought important things from their earliest childhood when they are in kindergarten. All people after ending their education find a good job from which they can live and allow themselves to enjoyment of their freedom. Most people who were educated in Kleomentia and than went to have a job in other nations were highly qualified and made excellent interviews.
