This is the Confederate Conservative Party Primary. The Confederate Conservative Party is a far-right party. If these candidates are too far right for you, you can vote in the Liberal Party Primary here.
(The Liberal Party is center-right. Those of you who are truly left wing, don't worry, you'll have someone to vote for in the general election. The National Liberation candidate who calls himself “Vuelta de Villa” is running unopposed in his party’s primary.)

The poll will be open for seven days, re-voting (that is, changing your mind) is allowed.

Ladies and gentlemen, your Conservative Party candidates...

(OOC: the links are to the real-world people’s Wikipedia pages, not anything in-universe, but the in-universe doppelgangers of the real-world people are practically identical with regards to their personalities and ideology.)

(And if you think the Liberal candidates are still too far right, sorry, there’s no left-wing party primary you can vote in, but don’t worry, you will have a candidate in the general election.)

Frankly speaking, Tiberia views all the candidates as capitalist pigs, so will not outright participate in this election. However the office of foreign affairs will say they will seek good relations with North Mexico only if a non rascist is elected

If these candidates are too extreme for you, you should vote in the Liberal Party Primary here instead. They're center-right. (And if those are still too right for you, wait till the general election and vote for "Vuelta de Villa.")

And for DeLay's crimes, you're right, I didn't mention to ignore them. Maybe I should have, but I I didn't think it necessary, seeing as how his white collar crimes probably wouldn't even be illegal in North Mexico. But in the alt reality of New Mexico, Black wouldn't have felt a need to commit the crimes he committed in the first place. See?

OOC: The post was more or less a risky gamble to pick a more extreme candidate purposely, on the assumption they would slip up and allow for an oppertunity for "information gathering"...yeah, it was low.

NOTE: We got a good number of votes towards the beginning, but it looks like they're only trickling in now, so I'm going to cut the poll's duration from 10 to 7 days, which means those who haven't voted yet only have until this upcomming Wednesday instead of Saturday, which is still more than enough time, I think.
Also, when I do the general election poll between the two primary winners, it too will only be only seven days.
But please, everybody vote if you haven't done so already!
