To get a picture of Indeos, imagine all the monsters that have ever been conceived living in one massive nation. Now add a human population that has coexisted with these creatures, gods, angels, demons, etc for an unspecified amount of time that's probably "since the beginning", and all that time had a single ruler who is believed to be the only true immortal in a place where death is regarded as little more serious than losing one's car.
