Ikruchystan, officially the Ikruvoni Syndicalist Vojzimat of Ikruchystan (Ka Ikruvonitze Szindikalist Vojzhimat a Ikruchystan), is a sovereign territorial entity located in Eastern Ashazeth.
Ikruchystan's is governed by a military command known as the Vojzhimat, which exercises direct control over the 1st and 2nd military districts and is responsible for coordinating military action and foreign policy in order to ensure the progress of the revolution abroad. In turn, the Vojzhimat draws its personnel from the militias maintained by labor unions, who are responsible for the preservation of the revolution at home and is subject to the orders of the Workers' Council for Revolutionary Progress and Security.
It is home to one of the world's largest and most productive agriculture industries. Combined with heavy manufacturing, the two industries account for 38% of Ikruchystan's GDP. Once known as the Golden Fields, Ikruchystan has been, since the mid-19th century, the world's single largest producer and exporter of opiate drugs. This in turn comprises another 24% of GDP. However, production has declined in recent years due to a renewed focus on modernization and diversification in the economy.
In the aftermath of the devastating Ikruchystani-Aldarminian War, a part of the greater Gothic Civil War, the majority of Ikruchystan's population relocated to sparsely populated territory in Eastern Ashazeth that was, nevertheless, historically a part of Greater Ikruchystan.
