since our police is the riot police(yet station numbers are small) we have a system of unified police stations each have gear and one or two surplussed A.P.C (depending on size of station) and they can be mobilized in minutes. our riot police currently are switching over to lexan and other polymers instead of aluminum for our shields for cost reasons. our only non lethal options at the moment are batons,teargas,and beanbag/rubber bullet shotgun shells. although in every A.P.C, live ammo and whatever assorted weapons they have decided to take are to be carried in case of lethal protesters.

The riot police is part of the national police (The Tolmakian Homeland Police) which in turn is partially part of the military. The riot police are rarely deployed since most protests are peaceful. However they still have protection gear and riot equipment just in case.

In Straall we have 3 types of riot police,

The Royal Police Riot Corps - As with both riot corps, the police constables are for the most part ordered to serve in the corps, but both the police services thy have several police regiments with whole companies in them with full time riot police.

The Police Infantry's Riot Brigade - As for the PI, all the police constables are all borh PCs and soldiers, in the regimental organization the PI have 16 riot police regiments.

We don't have riot police: Protests are tolerated as long as they are not anti-socialist in character and they're not overly violent, and there usually aren't (there's fairly goo relations between leftists and the militia, so they don't usually come to blows).

When a non-violent protest is anti-socialist in character we usually respond to them by mobilizing young communists, trade unionists and far left activists to brutalize the right-wingers, push them off the streets and generally re-assert our political hegemony through the show of force.

Anti-socialist uprisings and insurrections are ruthlessly crushed with military force.

For the most extreme circumstances, there is an army unit-- 1st Riot Control Battalion, that may be called in.
This unit utilizes many forms of lethal and less than lethal weapons and is very well trained.
1st RCB uses infantry small arms BMP and SKOT armored vehicles (Some fitted with high pressure water hoses), tear gas, TASERs, Riot Shields and Batons, sound cannons and other PSYOPS equipment.

This is the only military unit authorized to be used on Gingish civilians, and only under the order of The Marshal of Gingeska, which must be approved by the Prime Minister.

Any rioter that even seems armed with a weapon (Not guns because their banned and illegal for civie use c:) will be shot or tranquilized and imprisoned for 10 Years no trial. Anyone who assuakts a political figure will be shot down by Highlander Legion's elite division, the "Death Grenadiers". All of the Highlander Legion are also a section of the military. Basic gear is a M4A1, Glock, Rubber Ball Grenade (Able to disable Rioters and render them unconscious), Rubber ball Pistol, Large Riot Shield, Electric Baton, Flak suit, Military grade backpack.

The Adab Riot Police is a division within the larger organization of the Adab Police. Its members are armed with personal armor, riot shields, and riot helmets. They frequently make use of tear gas, pepper spray, and stun grenades.

The riot police of Wumbotropolis are equipped with fiberglass shield, stun baton, and tear gas. They're also equipped with shotguns fring non-lethal rounds and water cannon. They're wearing riot armor that is both stab proof and bullet proof. During the event of foreign invasion, the riot police are equipped with standard military equipment specialized for close quarter combat.

Wakhan Police Service -
The Wakhan Police Service differs from other services in that it is located in the disputed territory of Wakhan which has been occupied by Jammustan since the 1948 Afghanistan War in which Jammustan and Soviet forces attempted to occupy Wakhan, leading to the 1949 Soviet-Jammustan War where Jammustan won with Pakistani support. Wakhan was claimed by the USSR until 1959 and is still claimed by Afghanistan. India recognises Wakhan as an occupied territory.
Insurgencies are common in Wakhan by the Afghani sponsored Wakhan Liberation Front, which is alleged to be supported by India by Jammustan.

Quite honestly, i haven't found an image for it, but our riot police is pretty hardcore and well equipped. The ones that used the shields are trained to not break formation unless given order, so if it's a riot and the riot police (With the shields) is coming you just have this advancing line that won't break.
