We are pleased to receive preliminary approval for the construction project. While measurement and survey work commences on the construction site, we would like to, meanwhile, announce a project to encourage the work of young Malgravean artists, and to express our respect for art and culture in Malgrave. To wit, we are comissionning the first AMI-Malgrave Art Contest.

Beginning artists (those not previously exhibited in a major museum) will be free to enter the contest in the coming two months, entering sculptures, paintings, and other art into the contest. While abstract art is not accepted at the moment, other styles of art are. Winners (two of each in the Sculpture and Painting Categories, and two People’s Vote winners) will receive a scholarship of 25,000 Menelmacari credits to attend an art schol of their choice. In addition, art from the contest will be purchased by our company for display and decoration in the project, or perhaps by AMI employees or in museums.

As this message was being sent, the first Allanean engineers were arriving already to the construction site. They carried out the final measurements and scans, laser equipment making precise data of the construction site, quadcopters circling overhead for final photography, cameras snapping in the engineers’ hands.

With this measurement in hand, the final adjustments were being made to the plan. Cranes, bulldozers, excavators and graders were being moved across the sea, or rented from Malgravean suppliers, and as soon as the final stamps would land on the final papers, the construction effort would begin in earnest.
