No. People only celebrate religious holidays.

It's not celebrated as an actual holiday but it is a day that many people embrace with card and gift giving etc.

Valentines day is a religious holiday, albeit a Christian one.

Not as a statutory holiday. Valentine's Day, in fact, is celebrated by giving valentines, but is not an official holiday.

It used to be thought of as some foreign custom, but it is catching on in Chelta. This development seems to be driven uniformly by teenage girls.

we celebrate the vernal equinox. and that does tend to be associated with feeling of affection. among other things. including inspiration to create and explore. and the wonders of rebirth.

there is not an exactly corresponding time of year day, nor are bael nor valintine well known, as earth is, after all, alien, to lananara, on which cameroi is situated.
truth isn't what i say. isn't what you say. isn't what anybody says. truth is what is there, when no one is saying anything.

Christianity has never had any impact on Rumbrian society, and thus the concept of 'Saints' days are foreign.

Not really, no.

It is not a registered celebration day in the Lemonian calendar, but human neighbourhoods are often found distributing the appropriate wares and celebrating it within their community. It is a human holiday, not an officially registered one

In Felbah, Valentine's day, or St. Valentine's day, is celebrated by a church service, followed by a large wall in every house being decorated with praises to God and each other.

Then comes a St. Valentine's day feast, where the local MP throws a party at their house and gives a free meal to the people in their area. The same happens on every saints day.

The whole day is a public holiday.

Yes, we celebrate Valentine's Day although it is not an official holiday. Many citizens choose this day to propose or get married, for example.

Here in the lands of the New Christendom, we celebrate a blend of the secular and Catholic holiday. Though the practices are ultimately similar to the secular one, it is treated with more care because of the spiritual nature of the holiday.

No, but gypsies celebrate sinestro* day where they instill fear into all our population on the same day you have valintines on. The holiday is ileagal though, so we do arrest people who do celibrate it.

*the name sinestro is based on the comic book character who instills fear into people. By the way if you're thick, instill fear into people means put fear into people. Einstien :palm:
