Believers, non-believers, Men of God, Laity, Friends and Enemies, hear these words!

His Holiness, Alexander Romanus XXI, the Pope of the Apostolic Christian Church, has issued me with this mandate.

"To go forth, to find our kinsmen and fellow men of faith, and to provide for them the finest houses of worship possible. Give the believers a place to speak to God, worthy of the name 'Church'. Through this, show the power and glory of the Lord to all, and encourage others to step into the way of light. Amen."

And so, with this in mind, I come before you, the leaders of the world, with a proposition.

We, the Holy Church of the Apostolic See, will build Churches, Cathedrals, Nunneries, Monastries and any other form of religious building you require. Simply ask, and ye shall recieve. We do not seek to meddle and interfere with your Government, we do not wish to influence your leaders or control your armies. We simply wish to build Houses of God, where his flock may worship.

However, before we grant thee thy request, we request of you this information...

Thank you for petitioning the See for a Cathedral. We appreciate your concern to keep Church and State seperate, and rest assured, our goal is not to interfere in the workings of your government. We seek only to provide our flock with a place to give thanks for the Lord's bounty. We will immediately begin construction of "Saint Paul's Apostolic Cathedral", a huge building, an artist's rendering of which can be viewed below.

As far as His Eminence Cardinal Thomas Carey goes, we graciously invite him to take his seat in the Holy Conclave of the City of the Apostles. With your permission, we would like to grant him the position of "Papal Chamberlaine", a ceremonial position which grants him close access to the Holy Father, and great influence within our Church. We would be happy to finance the demolition of your old cathedral and would be delighted to build a new, even larger one in it's stead. We will also name this one, "The New Cathedral of St. Michael the Archangel", in order to cause as little confusion as possible in the meantime.

As for your offer, we are much intruiged. We see no reason whatsoever why Romanov Orthodoxy cannot be united with the Holy Apostolic Church as a seperate rite, under His Holiness' guidance. If you still agree, then of course, we would be delighted to welcome the Patriarch to the Holy City, and give him the title of Cardinal. Your Church will, officially, become a part of the Holy Apostolic Church, but you will be allowed autonomy within it, to pursue your own historical and cultural "way to God".
