You'd think. But a lot of FT ground combat shouldn't really exist.

Well to be fair there will always be stuff you want to conquer relatively intact as well as planetary shields, anti orbit defenses and generally stuff that can ruin your day if you are going for a nuclear option. Plus the diplomatic ramifications of mass using WMDs in certain spots might not be nice. But none of that applies to a planet where the air it self eats away at your missiles.

Due to the proliferation of giant monsters, we have been inspired by a movie we saw once our finest military advisers to counter the Kaiju non-specific giant monster threat with the Jaeger non-specific giant robot program.

Collateral damage was horrifying. The project was quickly canceled, since we figured it would be less expensive to just let the monsters destroy our cities, and the advisers responsible for the project have been reassigned to sniper bait.

I would advise you to invest in Evangelions next time round. 100% organic, nature friendly and they run on tortured children. Also, I am relatively sure that they are mostly bio degradable. But don't take my word for it.

On a cloudy day, when all alone and running out of power, pretty easy to beat.

That's the beauty of it - Its a Land-Air vehicle.
Meaning, in short, it floats about two feet off the ground constantly, and in flight attack mode, it floats as high as jets.
It can use it's feet as guns to shoot behind it via shooting heat-seeking rounds, while the hand/arm guns are for shooting whatever is in front of it. c:
Oh, and all the things below I forgot to put in my previous post...

Spider Drones - AI-powered drones with one programming; Destroy enemy weapons. These things travel in swarms of thousands, and can be anywhere between the size of a spec of dust to destroy enemies via bio-warfare, or as large as tanks to simply kill off heavy artillery.

As if it wasn't enough we're already locusts from gears of war with most helghast-like tech/belief systems, we just had to make a bio-drone that looks and acts like a Xenomorph once released into battle, now didn't we? *nods*

Killer Drones are based off of Predators. However, there is one big difference; they only kill what is marked by Hunter Drone "Venom".

Our primary battle mech is the Chupacabra Battle Mech made by Tackon Defense Industries. It features a Model 2673 Rail Gun and two medium pulse lasers. The Chupacabra is currently being phased out of service by the M90 Predator.

The M90 Predator is currently being operated as a special operation battle mech due to its expense and its advanced technology. It is currently phasing out the Chupacabra and features two large pulse lasers and two sets of medium range missile pods. The M90 Predator will be seem on the battlefield in large groups as a heavy mech. It will often be swarmed by medium and small mechs.

The Minotaur Light Combat Mech is designed for the purpose of providing support to infantry and heavier combat mechs. The Minotaur is often seen patrolling military bases and are the most common battle mech in the Tackish Ground Army. The Minotaur features a large rotary autocannon, a large pulse laser, and medium range missile pods.

The Saturn Heavy Combat Mech is used primarily as support for infantry and other mechs. It features a Mk. 100 Pulse Laser Cannon, the largest on a mech of its kind. It provides support from distance for other mechs as they push. The pulse cannon is an effective weapon to take down enemy combat mechs. The Saturn Heavy Combat Mech is not seen often but when it is, expect a large battle to happen soon.

The Jackal Urban Combat Mech is used in urban environments due to their relatively small size and their design and equipment. They were designed by Tackon Defense Industries for use in urban environments. They feature a large laser cutting beam to clear debris and a large rotary autocannon. The short range, accurate missile pods are designed for use within close environments with lots of buildings.

Mechs of all sorts take on the same role as super soldiers/dudes in big tincan future armor, and that it's pretty much just fielded for show, since 99% of all Uelvanian warfare is determined by launching missiles at eachother's cities.

Which realistically leaves them to be an over glorified and expensive law enforcer.

You should add some sort of mechanism to root the mech into the ground when it fires, because when you're shooting shells the size of a person, that mech would easily fall over.

Our most used mechs, our automaton guards, used to guard cities and, in rarest of cases, used in attack (amount of these currently active in Skulley Imperium is 2,000,000).

I feel like I might as well post a picture or two.

This is and armored Doragoris, one of our more common military kaiju. Its crew of 4 direct the monster and deploy ranged weapons and countermeasures as necessary. The armor is only sort of necessary, as the monster within has near-impenetrable skin. Believe me. We've tried.

With its armor, the Doragoris comes to a staggering 60 meters tall, and it is easily able to level buildings, small towns, and, in groups, whole cities.

The monster itself can fire energy beams from its eyes, and has the ability to cross between our dimension and another, which allows it to travel nearly anywhere almost instantaneously. This dimension takes the form of a uniformly lit red space, in which there is no discernible edge in any direction. The dimension hop itself, at least from our end, looks like the sky shattering like glass to reveal the pocket dimension.

Being immensely strong, the Doragoris would be easily able to rip most of your puny mechs limb from limb.

The Atlas IV is a Cerberus (A pro human terrorist organization) mech. After the destruction of Cerberus near the end of December 2186 All surviving Atlas' were taken and remade by the Systems alliance meaning it has a navy blue colour scheme and light blue reinforced glass.still uses the standard mass accelerator cannon and rocket launcher in most systems alliance versions but some can be seen with the following armaments:
-Flamethrowers
- Miniaturized Thanix cannons
-Gatling guns
-Omni-Blades
