A traditional Spirean Burial is to place the body of the dead on a white plank, and cover the face of the dead with a white shroud and sing the Dirge of the Goddess, and then adorn the body with white Catralia lilies, floating the a body on the plank over a body of water, their arms positioned crossed over their chest. As the body floats away song and dance dedicated to the dead is given as the plank is floated out into the water, and finally a flaming arrow is shot to the plank and the ceremony is over when the ashes of the dead finally disintegrate into the water.

Very carefully! There's sapient cats and changelings which can turn from humanoid forms into the form of common housecats. One has to respect cats because it's very possible that they might be the sapient variety and will be rather miffed if you treat them unkindly so most people don't take the risk and treat them warmly.

Are they well regarded? Are there various 'cat cults' etc?

There are some, but they're often cultural beliefs promoted by some superstition, believing if a Cat comes to your home, that you have a warm family.

"You obviously don't know what a Knight of the Order is supposed to do! A knight of the Order of Idealists is supposed to help all people regardless of their nation or homeland. Communist or not we don't wear red armor, we wear silver colored with gold inlays and dark blue cloth! Also, to tell the truth if something's not happened before how can one judge it as that? I mean, I already said I don't know or care much about Communism, but the High Council seems to know what they're doing. We don't have poor people who fight to live anywhere else. We treat everyone the same, and yet we're free people, so I don't get where all this rage is coming from. Plus Hippostanians murdered people before the Ponyist Party was in power. I am glad the ponyists took over, but they're still doing a poor job of taking care of practicing the elements of harmony. Maybe Lyra can fix that, I don't know her well enough to say, but we'll see."

What is CS's main form of electrical energy generation?

Geothermal Energy to the north in the Fornt's crown mountains where active volcanoes provide a good source for power. In the South we use wind turbines, and in central Crystal Spires revolutionization of pressurized Steam. Fossil fuels are used limitedly because they're nonrenewable and have better use being used to make plastics and such, or they're rather dirty and cause pollution problems. Some Hydroelectric power is used, but we fear messing up the ecosystems of the rivers or worse.

Can you describe the Spirean electoral system?

Certainly.

Spires Provinces are divided into small District Areas called "Protectorates" and these Protectorates have an electoral Council which all seat are elected popularly with the Chairman of the Council being the "Representative" who acts as the representative of that district. They go to the High Council where they act as legislators. The Head of State, the High Chancellor and the Chancellor are Recommended within the High Council, but ultimately the vote is determined by popular election.
