GHA 1 - Full scale nuclear war , at this point a strike will have been launched
GHA 2 - Escalation of Non - Nuclear war , Nuclear forces fully active
GHA 3 - Heightened readiness in response to political crisis/small scale skirmishes , Nuclear forces being readied
GHA 4 - Increased Alert , Conventional forces being readied , Nuclear forces inactive
GHA 5 - Normal Peacetime readiness

Level 4: Skirmish with neighboring state.
Level 3: War of any scale up to 5,000 deaths.
Level 2: Large scale war, more than 5,000 deaths
Level 1: Enemy forces moving into the home country. At level 1, citizens are required to be indoors, and a curfew is in order for those unable to stay in a permanent home.

There are three. Current levels are bolded.

DEFCON, or conventional military readiness...

DEFCON 5, no active combat, but involvement may happen soon. This usually means the GWO government just doesn't have a target at the moment.
DEFCON 4, GWO forces are ready, or very, very minor operations are being carried out abroad.
DEFCON 3, GWO forces are on active Standby, or relatively minor operations are being carried out abroad, or extremely minor foreign operations are happening in the GWO.
DEFCON 2, the GWO has full military operations occurring abroad, or, foreigners have begun minor operations against the GWO's territory.
DEFCON 1, the GWO itself is being fully attacked by foreign forces.
DEFCON 0, the GWO government has ceased to function and/or has become an underground or exiled organization.

There is, theoretically, a DEFCON 6 for total peace, but it has never been attained in the history of the GWO.

Spire's Orders, or nuclear readiness...

SO5, no direct nuclear threat.
SO4, nuclear threats are possibly soon to come.
SO3, nuclear threats have been made.
SO2, full nuclear readiness.
SO1, nuclear forces inbound for striking.
SO0, nuclear warfare has broken out.

Domestic Security Level, or terrorist/criminal threats at home...

DSL6, no rebel/terrorist activity.
DSL5, rebel/terrorist activities suspected.
DSL4, minor rebel/terrorist activities.
DSL3, active rebels/terrorists in hiding, major attack expected.
DSL2, large increase in rebel/terrorist activity.
DSL1, full-scale domestic warfare between government forces and malcontents.
DSL0, secession from the GWO.

4: Aware, a major conflict is happening somewhere in the world, though it hasn't affected the Reich, yet
3: Concerned, a major conflict is happening near the Reich and it has affected us somewhat
2: Paranoid, the Reich is a major player in a major conflict
1: *Screams in a psychotic and heavily German accented voice* IT'S BLITZKRIEG TIME!!!, the Reich is heavily involved in a major war that involves nukes

Epsilon: This is the condition used to designate normal peacetime military readiness.
Delta: This refers to normal, increased intelligence and the heightening of national security measures.
Gamma: This refers to an increase to force readiness above normal. Radio call signs used by the armed forces change to currently classified codes.
Beta: This refers to a further increase in force readiness just below maximum readiness. Targets are sent to military units and they are placed on hot standby.
Alpha: This refers to maximum readiness. This is war WMD are on hot standby.
Omega: Total war, WMD are active.

We use a modified DEFCON system:

DEFCON 5- Peace. Military Alert readiness at the lowest point posible.
DEFCON 4- Normal military readiness.
DEFCON 3- Heightened military readiness.
DEFCON 2- Preparing for war.
DEFCON 1- War.
DEFCON 0- Total or nuclear war.

The Blue Helmets Alerts System is divided in 5 levels which are:

5) Total Peace
4) Blue Alert/Low threat, low-level warfare
3) Purple Alert/ Medium threat, small scale warfare
2) Yellow Alert/ High threat, Total war
1) Red Alert/ Risk of Total Destruction, All WMDs are launched to randomly

DEFENSE CONDITION 5
Defense Condition 5, or DEFCON 5, is the normal position of readiness. Vesski Forces are not mobilized outside of military bases, and all combat units must be at 50% readiness.

DEFENSE CONDITION 4
Defense Condition 4, or DEFCON 4, is the heightened position of readiness. Vesski Forces are mobilized in a peacekeeping or neutral role, and all combat units not deployed must be at 50% readiness.

DEFENSE CONDITION 3
Defense Condition 3, or DEFCON 3, is the alert position of readiness. Vesski Forces are mobilized in an active role, and all combat units not deployed must be at 75% readiness.

DEFENSE CONDITION 2
Defense Condition 2, or DEFCON 2, is the advanced position of readiness. Vesski Forces are mobilized within Vesser's interests in a defensive role, and all combat units not deployed must be at 90% readiness.

DEFENSE CONDITION 1
Defense Condition 1, or DEFCON 1, is the highest position of readiness. Vesski Forces are actively engaging forces within Vesser's interests in a defensive role, and all combat units are deployed at 100% readiness.

3:Hightened rediness. This level is used if Woam is fighting overseas. It is also used during international crises and if their has been a recent terrorist attack.
2: High-level rediness. Used if a war or international conflict is going on within Woam's borders.
1:Extreme rediness. Used if their is a serious threat of the current Government of Woam bieng toppled. It is the other NAL Woam has never been at.

We use Hobit Defense Security Levels and Nuclear Combat Levels (HDSL and NucCom.)

HDSL 5: Peace time
HDSL 4: Slight military activity
HDSL 3: Moderate military activity; attacks possible; soldiers mobilized
HDSL 2: Slightly Heavy military activity; attacks imminent; soldiers deployed; citizens on curfew and evacuation stand-by
HDSL 1: Total military action; attacks occuring; soldiers fighting; citizens evacuated and placed on strict curfew rules. This has only been used twice throughout its use.

Nuclear Combat has three levels:

NucCom 3: Nuclear Missiles are stored and secure.
NucCom 2: Nuclear Missiles are activated and put into launch manuevers.
NucCom 1: Nuclear Missiles launched.
