North Europa, officially the Republic of North Europa is a huge, socially progressive nation.The Capital of The Republic of North Europa is St. George. Member of the WA and of the region Europeia.
Geography
The Republic of North Europa is a country with an area of 4.000.000 km2. Temperate climate prevails in much of the country and especially at the coast. Mountains visible in the northwestern part of the country. The highest mountain is Jupiter. In the center of the country there are large arable plains, rivers and relatively large lakes. In the south there is a large percentage of people which employ in fishing.
Government and Political Structure
The constitution of the country is Unitary semi-presidential constitutional republic. Head of state is the President of Republic, William Malkox with a term of 5 years. Prime Minister is the head of government, George Longom.
The Parliament of country consists of two parts with 400 politicians:
1)the National Assembly(300 civilian) and the Senate(100 senators)..Τogether comprises the Republic of North Europa Parliament.
The Senate is the upper house of the Parliament of North Europa,presided over by a president.
The Senate enjoys less prominence than the lower house, the directly elected National Assembly debates in the Senate tend to be less tense and generally enjoy less media coverage.The senators elect a President from among their members.The current incumbent is John Klayton. The President of the Senate is first in the line of succession—in case of death, resignation or removal from office (only for health reasons)—to the Presidency of the Republic, becoming Acting President of the Republic until a new election can be held.
