Kragenmoor, officially known as the Kingdom of Kragenmoor since 1419, is an absolute monarchy located in on the continent of Kolfinna but also possess several colonies around the globe. It's border is composed of the Telvanni Mountains to the west and the Eastern Sea to the east, to the north and south are lands which have no government and are occupied by criminals, barbaric tribes and outcasts.

Over the past five hundred years the Kingdom of Kragenmoor has conquered several smaller nations making it the most powerful nation on the continent while most others have descended into a state of total anarchy. This why the primary focus of the military in previous years was keeping the borders secure from the barbarians to the north and south.

Over the past fifty years the main focus of the government has been to increase the welfare of the Kragenmoori people, this has resulted in diminishing importance of nobility but has established a universal health care system and better education facilities along with many other improvements.

The Telvanni Mountains

Mount Brennan (5,154m) Viewed From The South

The Telvanni Mountains run along the entire western border of Kragenmoor and it's highest peak, Mount Brennan, is just over five kilometers above sea level. Throughout the history of Kragenmoor the Telvanni Mountains have played an important role in protecting the nation from the west because most considered them impassable until the 18th centaury, even now an inexperienced man or woman attempting to cross the mountains will most likely perish. Even so, the Royal Kragenmoori Army has established a chain of helicopter bases along the mountains to patrol the western border even though several helicopters in service cannot even reach the heights desired. The Telvanni Mountains also make an appearance on the Kragenmoori £20 note alongside famous Kragenmoori mountaineer Richard Anthony.

Formation of the Telvanni Mountains began almost 20 million years ago when the West Kolfinnan Plate collided with the East Kolfinnan Plate, on which Kragenmoor is now located. Slowly they have grown to the height they are today and their size is still increasing at around 4 millimeters per year according to a recent study by the Kragenmoori Geological Institute.
