Yohannes, officially the Kingdom of Yohannes (Nordstormian: Königreich Yohannes), is a royal federation in Northern Judea, with overseas territories; dominions, mandates and protectorates in Asavona, Azhukali, Europa, Guanxi, Gholgoth and Tyrrhenia. Metropolitan and overseas Yohannes covers 60,883,696 square kilometres (23,516,298 sq mi), spanning nineteen time zones and incorporating a wide range of environments and landforms. Metropolitan Yohannes borders the Nordstorm Sea to the north and northwest, and it shares land borders with Sturmia to the northeast, Tecknoko to the east, Tergnitz to the southeast and Altimaea to the south and southwest.

The majority of the population speaks Nordstormian, which is also one of the country's two official languages. The second official language is English, which is mainly used for international commerce, exchange and social interaction. English however, is not used inside metropolitan Yohannes in general, although it is used widely by the country's inhabitants overseas.

The origin of Yohannes today date back to the time of the Hardenburghian settlers' arrival in Northern Judea, over what is today a part of both southern Sturmia and Yohannes in 980 AD. The Hardenburghian Trading League was established in 1100, comprising of twenty five monarchies and fifty seven city states. The conclusion of the Protestant Reformation Movement in 1509, spanning over the course of nearly a decade, resulted in the collapse of the Trading League. The subsequent Treaty of Loriath in 1511, established the formation of the North Judean Confederation, and concluded its member states' independence from the Hardenburghian Confederation.

The North Judean Confederation collapsed in 1830, as a result of rising tension between the Grand Duchy of Lindblum and the Sturmian Empire. The Sturmo-Lindish War of 1833 resulted in a hegemonic Lindblum following Sturmian defeat at the Battle of Landsberg. The Federal Proclamation of 1837 unified the nineteen southwestern Nordstormian states into a royal federation, subsequently establishing the Kingdom of Yohannes.

Today, Yohannes is a constitutional monarchy and a federal parliamentary representative democracy. The capital and largest city, with a population exceeding 3.1 million, is Valedonia. Yohannes is headquarter to some of the world's largest trading companies, such as that of VMK AG, Yohannesische Bundesbank and Yohannesische Börse AG.
