Territory Claimed: (As an extra challenge, try to not use RL country names but if you need to that's cool too) area between the Caspian sea and black sea, plus upper Asia Minor.
Past History: (Here is where I want you guys to try to use your thinking caps, give us the rundown on any major events that have happened to you over the past 200 or so years like wars or government coup's or invasions and the like) 1798: The Shnerrish Frontiers founded
1807: democracy established
1844: massive civil war, government begins to fail
1850: dictatorship established, name changed to Shnercropolis
1850-1900: large conquests take place, upper asia minor annexed.
1920: Shnercropolis establishes firm rule over upper asia minor, major government reforms centralize government
1930: more military campaigns attempted, none successful
1960: Shnercropolis enters space race, succeeds in sending 6 men into space
1975-present: economic boom

Lebowa Seko

Territory Claimed:
An area about the same size as RL Lesotho but maintains the current shape of my map located in my sig. The country should be located somewhere in the south of RL Chad (Sorry it's a complicated.)

Past History:
The Republic of Lebowa Seko was just beyond the reach of the global powers in early eighteenth centaury, the local tribes still remained in control. Eventually the Mumbabi Tribe from the south managed to conquer the others and created the Kingdom of Lebowa in 1783, modeled after the kingdoms in Europe. The country managed to stay out of most conflicts, if they did the King would have certainly be removed from power by other nations in the region. Modernization never really reached Lebowa Seko during those times, there was never enough equipment available to extract the resources needed for industry to develop. This remained pretty much the same until the year 1942. While the nations of other countries were fighting in a massive bloody war, a revolution had begun in the Kingdom of Lebowa. This lasted until 1951 when the King finally admitted defeat and left the country, not after stealing thousands of dollars from the banks. The new government embraced the idea of democracy which was new to them, they even added Seko, meaning 'free', to the nations name. They still could not fully adopt a process of modernization, the money the King had stolen left the government poor and made any remaining money worthless. This lead to the use as diamonds for currency. Lebowa Seko was advancing at a reasonable pace, still around forty years behind the rest of the world, but advancing none the less. The democratic system collapsed when President Amollo Odhiambo declared himself dictator for life and banned all other parties and elections.

Nation Name: Protectorate of Nohn
Territory Claimed: Island slightly smaller than Tasmania south of the Aleutians and south-east of Kamchatka

Past History:
1969 AD: The Event occurs. In an instant, the isle of Nohn is violently removed from Cirundi, and finds itself crashing into another world. Damage is severe, and millions are killed. Communications are cut off with the outside world, and more disturbingly, the sky and stars are all wrong. It is soon determined that Nohn is no longer on Cirundi, but another planet. Soon after, contact is made with the indigenous life forms of the planet. They call themselves humans, and their planet Earth.

1971 AD: The Council of Elders forces a martial crackdown on their citizens in an attempt to end the clan warfare that had broken out since the Event. Recovery has been nonexistent, and poverty and starvation are widespread. The Soviet Union offers the reclusive nation support, and the Council of Elders accept. Nohn joins the Cold War on the side of the Warsaw Pact.

1977 AD: After several years of economic and social recovery, Nohn launches it's first satellite with help of it's Soviet allies. In return, the Soviets are allowed unprecedented access to the more advanced technologies of Nohn. Worried about this development, NATO begins drafting plans to remove Nohn from the Soviet sphere of influence.

1980 AD: After a terrorist attack on the city of Hirest, Nohn claims evidence that it was perpetuated by NATO, and against the wishes of the Warsaw allies, declares war on the United States. The 10 Day War ends with the Council of Elders being disposed, and the establishment of the NATO-aligned and human-run Protectorate of Nohn.

1983 AD: The Protectorate of Nohn opens up Nohn to human settlement.

1987 AD: The Protectorate of Nohn adopts a new constitution. Autonomous regions are established for each of the 4 sythen races, where they can govern themselves, while the city of Alsten and the surrounding region are declared to be under the direct rule of the protectorate government.

1990 AD: Following the collapse of the Soviet Union, Nohn applies to, and is accepted into, the United Nations.

1995 AD: The first democratic elections are held for the position of mayor in Alsten. It's won by a human, Lucas Bergeron. Widespread sythen rioting follows. The protectorate government begins deporting violent syth to the autonomous provinces. Elections are suspended for a decade.

1999 AD: The Protectorate of Nohn begins competing in international sports events. Only humans take part in these events. In part due to Nohn's location, in the months leading up to the millennium, Nohn sees a spike in tourists.

2002 AD: Internet becomes popular throughout Nohn again. Sythen-language sites sprout up all over the 'net.

2005 AD: Elections are held throughout Nohn. Despite representing only 5% of the population, humans with 25% of the seats. Rioting in sythen regions take place again, but are quickly put down by Protectorate forces.

2011 AD: Current year. The Protectorate Nation lifts many restrictions around Nohn, preparing for a transition to democracy over the next decade. Human settlement of Nohn greatly increases, as does the strength of the sythen insurgency, leading to full-scale military action within the cities of Nohn.

Territory Claimed: The area from the Tiber River, to the south Mediterranean Sea.
Past History: The land of Legionica is mainly originated from the ancient kingdom of Imperios. This was founded in 500 BC. As was with many nations, this was the Golden Age for the citizens of this land. When infighting icreased greatly, the Golden Age ended and the kingdom declined. After 10 years of anarchy, Imperios was broken officialy in 200 AD. The area was seperated into many small tribes led by military commanders. Multiple battles were fought between the tribes, such as the Battle of the Olive Trees. Many years passed, as the tribes fought. Recently, a powerful warlord, named Marius, with a great army died. His son of 14 years took control of his army and led to the Unification of the tribes. In 2 years, the tribes were united under one banner; Legionica. In October of 1997, Legionica was unified completely, with the boy general being renamed Primis Sanguine, and crowned Caesar of Legionica. Also recently, Legionica has expanded with the junction of 45% of Evaningham, after the Invasion of Evaningham.
