Make sure to make your entry as clean and organized as possible, like the example at least. If not, it will get reported for deletion by moderator. This to ensure that your entry is easy to read and be listed in the Index.
Before you post your entry or proceed to actually composing your entry, do make notice of the below limitations set for your entry as said in the following post,
Heliocalypse wrote:1) The Species slotted for Index entry may not posses highly evolved form of travel, such as any intial form of FTL by their own
2) The Species slotted for Index entry may not posses initial highly advanced intelligence such as piloting ships or any mode of transport or vehicles by their own.
3) The Species slotted for Index entry may not posses any initial potential to develop any form of FTL travel by their own.
And such, "Parasitic Species" that infect other sentient beings and consequently uses the infected body to drive a spaceship for example, is exempted from these limitations, since the species do not pilot the ship by its own but instead with an aide of another being as long the infected being do have the knowledge of piloting such spaceship before getting infected. This is perfectly acceptable. Thank you for reading this short message.

Heliocalypse wrote:4) The Species slotted for Index entry may not have a potential to form a civilization.
A civilization can be defined as a state where a Species may achieve considerable amount of progress in terms of intellectual, cultural and material development, showing a highly visible form of organized hierarchy and society while adept of using whatever suitable for owns advancement, intelligently. Note that this definition may change without warning.
Species entry must contain most of the below listed elements. The more elements your entry it includes, the more better defined your entry is, so try to include as much as listed elements below while also remain reasonable at least. It also ease on assigning Threat Level on your entry since it's more defined. Remember, one entry of one unique species amounts to one post only and accepted entry will get directly linked to the Index thread. So, to post more than one species, post them separately, thank you.

Threat Level is a generalized rule on determining the dangerous level of the said species. For example, for a species that have Threat Level 1, it will take approximately 10 professional hunters at maximum to kill or capture one entity from the said species.Threat Level of species will be assigned accordingly after your entry is accepted. It's formulated from the dangerous features the species might have, like Speed, Size, Lethality, and Behavior.
Lethality is the general classification of how lethal the species is. Below shows the generalized list of the element. Basis of the list is how much a full grown healthy man with medium build the single entity of the species able to kill.
A: Relatively harmless but dangerous in large quantities.
B: Can paralyze or hinder young child of human from functioning properly. Short term effects on adult man.
C: Can kill young child of man and severely stop adult man from properly functioning.
D: Can kill healthy adult human.
E: Can kill ten healthy adult human.
F: Can kill one hundred healthy adult human.
G: Can kill approximately one thousand healthy adult human.
Hazard Type is designated to define the hazard of the said species, like Carcinogenic or Mutagenic or something similar if any. Below list briefly of the available Hazard Type classification and their respective definition. Hazard Type can affect Lethality classification as well.
Carcinogenic : Species can cause cancer on touch of the species or via its body fluid, almost imminent death if not treated quickly
Mutagenic : Species can cause horrendous mutation of anything that come contact of it or any emissions of the said species.
Neurotoxic : Species is able to cause neural damage, causing asphyxiation or paralysis. Fast acting.
Corrosive : Species able to cause any contact material to dissolve due to interaction with emissions emitted by species.
Explosive : Species can detonate dangerously if touched or its bodily fluid can explode on contact.
Flammable : Species have tendency to burn or emit emissions that can cause hard to extinguish fires or can burn almost anything that happen to interact with it.
This is just a short classification of the said species. Sentient species is capable of thought and voluntary movement while vulnerable to psionics. Only non-sentient species is not vulnerable by psionics like induced mind hallucination or mind control. This element can affect the overall rating of the species.
