What type of gov't do you have?

We are a constitutional monarchy/parliamentary democracy. We were unsure whether to pick "unicameral democracy" or "monarchy" but we assumed that by monarchy you meant absolute monarchy, thus we would be more accurately called a "unicameral democracy"

What rights do your citizens have?

Our citizens have many rights, a few of which are:

Freedom of the Press
Right to a Fair Trial
Freedom from Unreasonable Searches & Seizures

What type of legislature does your gov't have?

Our national legislature is unicameral and called the Estates-General. It is composed of the three estates of Otrenia: 1st the Royal Family, 2nd the nobility, 3rd the people. The 1st and 2nd estates compromise a lesser part of the Estates-General than the 3rd.

Astrolinium has an absolute monarchy. (It is absolute because, in theory, the king can violate the Charter whenever he pleases. However, it's not a good idea in practice because he is outnumbered 87:1)

The sole law-making body of the land is the King, who is assisted by his royal advisory board.

The government type is Bureaucracy. Basically all officials are appointed by committee, and committee members are appointed by different committees. It becomes a viable system once the government grows large enough to make feedback practically impossible.

There are no term limits and officials are allowed to hold multiple posts.

There is no legislative as such. Instead of having one chamber of a few hundred people, somewhere around five hundred to a thousand different organizations all have power to pass laws and/or levy taxes, though usually only in regards to specific matters. The process is extremely decentralized.

The citizens get rights to life, liberty, education, protection, medical care, food, and shelter. They have a right to reasonable privacy, the right to petition government for redress of grievances, and to peacefully assemble provided they get proper permits. There are a bunch of others, but they specifically exclude the ability to do whatever you want with your body (i.e., safety laws are mandatory and there is a Prohibition in place) and the religious practices are generally not considered valid excuse for violating secular law.
