=OFFICIAL FACTBOOK OF THE GRAND FORCES OF THE CITIZENS' REPUBLIC OF NORTHWEST AMERICANA=

The Grand Forces of the Citizens' Republic are the collective military and organized private militia of the Citizens' Republic charged with the Chartered duties of national defense and international intervention. With combined forces over eleven million strong, the actual military of the Citizens' Republic (Army, Navy, Air Force, and Cyber & Astronautical Command) maintains a standing army of approximately six million through a process of completely voluntary service. The remaining five million are predominately civilians, often former members of the military, who joined privately organized militia organizations that first arose during the Americanan Revolution. Whereas the militias in the Grand Forces are predominately privately controlled by civilians, the military wing of the Grand Forces is controlled by the civilian Executive branch of the Citizens' Republic. The duly elected President, head of the Executive Branch, is Commander-in-Chief of the Citizens' Republic's military forces. The internal workings of all branches of the national military and overall national security is managed by the Department of War. Not included in the count are approximately twenty million civilians in unorganized private militia, generally patriotic civilians who seek to use their own resources and weapons to safeguard the Citizens' Charter and Populist Revolution.

Only the express consent of either the Citizens' Legislature or the Legislative Intelligence Committee can legally allow for the use of the Grand Forces through covert action or a declaration of war. While largely not being employed during the fourteen year history of the Citizens' Republic, the Grand Forces continue to instill a sense of nationalism, unity, and pride among all Americanans and are looked upon as guardians of the Populist Revolution.

The Revolutionary Army of the Citizens' Republic - WIP

Mission statement: The sole purpose of the Revolutionary Army is to protect the integrity and existence of the Populist Revolution and the Americanan Citizens' Charter from enemies out and in Americana Proper itself. The Revolutionary Army aims to fulfill this purpose through their focus on land-based defensive warfare, along with potential use as a marine invasion force if needed to secure national interests.
