Knight Hospitallar:
Arms: AK-74 (w/scope, laser, extended magazine), Concussion Grenade, Short Sabre
Armour: Kevlar Helmet, Kevlar Surcoat
Purpose: The Knights Hospitaller are armed with the intention of keeping tradition in the army, and thus are trained as medics and are expert swordsmen. Their augmented AK-74 rifles make them a multipurpose task force, although they are effective primarily in urban environments. The Knights are considered the highest ranking elite forces in the nation's army.
Grunt:
Arms: AK-74, Glock Semi-automatic Pistol, Frag Grenade
Armour: Kevlar Helmet, Kevlar Jacket
Purpose: The Grunts make up the bulk of the Chian military when at war. Their primary weapon is the AK-74, although their rifles are less impressive than that of the Knights. Grunts are meant to hold onto defensive positions and provide a meatshield for Knights and Grenadiers when assaulting fortifications.
Grenadier:
Arms: Omega Class Rocket Launcher, Glock Semi-automatic Pistol, 2 Radar/Heatseaking Rockets, 2 Frag Rockets, 2 Anti-Tank Rockets, 2 Flashbang Grenades
Armour: Kevlar Helmet
Purpose: The Grenadier is armed with a standard issue Omega Class Rocket Launcher, four SS rockets, two SA rockets, and two Flashbang Grenades. Due to the weight of his equipment, the Grenadier is lacking in body armour, and is usually a particularily strong individual. Each Grenadier has two long-range radar/heatseaking missiles, to be used in the likely event of enemy aircraft flying overhead. The missiles are designed to be highly resistant to countermeasures commonly used against heatseaking missiles by utilizing radar and intelligent guidance control. Being that Neamon cannot afford a massive air force, the Grenadier is the backbone of air superiority.
Patra Trooper (specialist):
Arms: Patra Anti-Armour Rifle, Glock Semi-automatic Pistol
Armour: Kevlar Helmet, Kevlar Vest
Purpose: The Patra Trooper's sole purpose is the destruction of tanks and other vehicles of warfare. Patra Troopers are expert marksmen and extremely knowledgable in the operational usage and strengths/weaknesses of all enemy vehicles. They are required to memorize the thickness of all parts of the tank's armour, as well as the location of each crew member and vital tank systems. This information is then used to efficiently dispatch tanks and, in many cases, capture them. In fact, Patra Troopers are so renowned for their effectiveness in the theft of enemy tanks that they are colloquially known as "Naemon's Tank Division".
F-16 Falcon (multirole)
The F16 Falcon is an imported craft. Despite repeated attempts to construct a factory capable of producing F-16 Falcons, Neamon has all but completely failed to reproduce the plane. The Falcon is used primarily for tactical bombing and air-intercept missions. However, being one of the only jet engine aircraft in service in Naemon, it fills practically every role possible for an aircraft aside from transport.
T-6 Texan II (trainer)
The T-6 Texan is used quite frequently as a reconnaissance and trainer aircraft.
Yak-1 (fighter)
By far the least effective, and yet most numerous, airplane in the Chian air force. Purchased en masse from collapsing socialist republics at the end of the war. This plane is barely ever used, and many are calling for them to be dismantled and burried to save on defense spending for the hangars they are rotting in.
MiG-29 (fighter)
Purchased abroad. Serves as the primary figher and escort aircraft.
SM.81 (bomber)
An old aircraft gained from the fascists, who abandoned a large number of planes at their airbased on Chios as they retreated. Neamon is attempting to replace these outdated bombers with more modern craft.
C-130 Hercules (transport)
The C-130 Hercules is the only military transport plane in Naemon, and there is only one of them in service. It has practically no use other than occupying hangar space.
Bell 47 (heli trainer)
An extremely old helicopter imported from foreigners as they were phasing them out of their own military. The Bell 47 is used for the singular purpose of training new helicopter pilots.
Super Puma (heli med-evac)
Used primarily as a med-evac transport helicopter.
