Not quite "plain Kevlar" - multiple layers with ballistic fabric and other components. The existing helmet is rated Type III. However, it is vulnerable to direct hit from an armor piercing rifle round. Hence the switch to the Dominion nanotech helmet, which is rated Type V.

The senestrian PCH-4 combat helmet features a single-piece sintered Boron Carbide armor element for high performance against enemy munitions and large shrapnel. A non-scratch coating protects the armor element, heavy padding ensures user comfort, and the helmet features a multitude of attachment points for a large variety of accessories. The edge features a seal for use with NBC gear. Attachments include, but are not limited to, night vision goggles, communication headsets, fabric covers, neck covers, clear face shields, ballistic masks, gas masks, and other equipment designed to connect with the attachment points.

The C-415
Image
There's a breathless hush in the Close to-night
Ten to make and the match to win
A bumping pitch and a blinding light,
An hour to play, and the last man in.
And it's not for the sake of a ribboned coat.
Or the selfish hope of a season's fame,
But his captain's hand on his shoulder smote
"Play up! Play up! And play the game!"

The New Emperican military does not use combat helmets. Instead, we use combat visors, as seen on these strapping young men. These visors are capable of displaying video from miles away relayed by another soldier, utilizes thermal and night vision, and are outfitted with communications devices and sound enhancers.

My nation is not like my nation page at all, it contradicts itself, we don't EVER eat kangaroos, that's just very sad. Also vegetarianism is compulsory yet it still says it's the nation's favourite main course and all and stuff.

In all branches of the military, combat soldiers thick in the field of battle wear pickelhaube helmets, but the spike on the helmet is replaced with a cross.

The Army and Naval Infantry are equipped with a mixture of the 6B7 and 6B26 helmets.

Airborne Forces use the 6B28 helmet, which doubles as a jump helmet and a ballistic helmet.
Image

Spetsnaz Group "Alfa" operators are generally allowed to use any helmet they want, but the MICH2000 is the most popular
Image

Interior Ministry Special Forces may also use any helmet based on the operators preference, but the most commonly used helmet by far is the Altyn
