I just added the explosive tipped thing because I assumed the projectile is not explosive for most recoilless rifles. But yeah, I mean HEAT or HE projectiles.Can you explain why rockets are better than recoilless rifles?

Well, it really depends on how you use them.

A general purpose weapon like the M3 is going to be more flexible than an AT4, or ATGM launcher, however will lack the dedicated anti-tank capability of an ATGM.

However systems like RPG-29 exist, which are fucking massive and still deliver good armor penetration.

A number of rocket launchers and recoilless rifles have ways of dealing with the back blast. Notably soft launch systems and and using shredded rubber.

After doing a bunch of looking around last night I'm probably going to use something similar to the loose fitting drab green uniforms of 1960s china or a simple boiler suit type thing kind of likethis. In savanna colours obviously (er, hopefully). Add in a mix of old Libyan and soviet uniforms smuggled in and some identifying armbands and I'll be all set

PG-7 is 85mm, weighs 2.25kg
PG-7M is 70mm, weighs 2kg
PG-7L is 93mm, weighs 2.6kg
PG-7R is 64/105mm, weighs 4.5kg
TBG-7 (Thermobaric) is 105mm, weighs 4.5kg, has aerodynamic ability of a rocket propelled newborn
OF-7 is 40mm, weighs 1.8kg
GSh-7VT is 105mm, weighs 4.8kg

PG stands for "Protivotankovaya Granata", "Anti Tank Grenade", OG for "Oskolochnaya Granata", "Fragmentation Grenade", TBG is an acronym for "Thermobaric", and GSh, I have no idea.

Its an anti-fortification warhead. The rear warhead detonates, creating a large blast crater from which the forward warhead penetrates and then detonates within the target. This is a very effective, as overpressure takes effect and is very devastating to any enclosed space, like a pillbox, bunker, or small room.

Its quotes as being able to destroy up to 45cm of brick structure, but only penetrates between 40 and 60mm of RHAe. It would still be very effective against a LAV, obviously.

VT Nomenclature is simply "Tandem Explosive", while VT is likely Thermobaric Explosive (Vzryvnoye Termobaricheskoy)

They still need to spend their time fighting outside of the vehicle, and sitting close to the vehicle to grab magazines or whatever is only going to make it easier to wipe out an entire section.
