So If the math all works out right my round would outperform or match 7.62X54R 7N13 in penetration at 500m using only FMJ. it's listed as 6mm at 520m (who the hell tests at 520m?) I'm assuming that this would be due to the fact that I have a lighter, faster projectile.

The 7N13 penetrates 6mm of mild steel at 660 metres. The 57-N-323S is the one that will penetrate 6mm at 520mm. These ranges are probably given because any further ranges wouldn't result in acceptable penetration of the steel.

And I'd say it's all down to velocity with your round.

If you can find sufficient information on them, I'd also love to see 6mm Unified.

On the trajectory table though, what's with 7.88x62mm? Its trajectory randomly changes at 800m.

I'd ask you to also add my 5.45x45mm cartridge, but I don't expect its performance to differ significantly from 5.56 - a minor drop in cartridge weight, minor increase in ME and I've no idea of pressures.

520m is either relevant in Arshins, Yards or some empirically-derived combat-relevant range.
These are Russians we're talking about.

On the basis that it's 631 Arshins or 568yds, it's probably something derived from something.

You're using paratroopers wrong if you intend to use them as guerrilla-forces.

True enough I suppose. I can't think of a Reason {i]Not[/i] to use them just not reason why we should switch because they are the next best thing since self-contained cartridges

This actually came from my idea of modernizing my bolt action rifle to essentially be a really long plastic tube that you can stick a pistol grip, bipod, stock, and scope on to make it a sniper rifle. Having a straight, uninterrupted line of PCAPs from where the pistol grip would be to where the handguard ends would be easy
