THE NATIONAL CONGRESS has been instrumental in the unity of Elizia since its inception, dedicated to national success and of fierce independence. The leading political movement of Elizian Independence from foreign imperialism, the ENC guided a torn nation from the shambles of colonialism into vibrant independence and economic success. Leading the nation with Asian principles, ideals, and vision created the grand economic and social progress Elizians have experienced consistently under ENC government. The forward thinking of the ENC and the ability to compromise successfully prevented a civil war despite communist and racist incitement.

THE ENC'S LEADERSHIP has seen the great reformation of the party to adapt to the ever changing circumstances that Elizia, the party, and its people face throughout the country. The Elizian National Congress is the only party that can and will properly represent Elizian beliefs, strive for Elizian goals, and forge a strong, unified nation.

THE NATIONAL CONGRESS is dedicated towards a bright and beneficial future for every single patriotic Elizian, a home, an education, and a job is what the ENC promises and delivers. With consistent record of economic development and social progress you can count on the ENC's drive towards success and record of delivering on promises to propel Elizia forward.

OUR PLATFORM:

Social Policies


• There is no point to establishing laws if they will not be enforced. The Elizian National Congress believes in firm but fair punishment for crimes, including the re-establishment of the death penalty in some cases.
  
• Affirmative Action is the purposeful benefiting of individuals because of their race. This is inherently racist. The Elizian National Congress favors a united Elizia where all people have equal opportunity.
• Abortion and Euthanasia both mean taking the life of another, often without consent. This can and should be classified as murder. The Elizian National Congress does not believe in legalizing murder.
• Marriage is a religious function. The Elizian National Congress recognizes that it is entirely the right of individual faiths and churches to restrict the right of marriage from whomever they wish in accordance with their beliefs.
• Immigration can benefit both migrants and Elizia as a whole when managed properly, but will endanger the nation if not. The Elizian National Congress believes in a skills and investments based points system for restricted immigration.
• Education is a vital foundation for the future of Elizians. The Elizian National Congress favors a strong, singular educational system including both free public schools and regulated private schools.
• Language is one of the foundations of identity. To strengthen the identity of the united Elizian, the Elizian National Congress favors the learning and adoption of a lingua franca for all Elizians.
• Healthcare is important for Elizians of all ages and backgrounds, but is a difficult expense. The Elizian National Congress believes in supporting affordable preventative measures and awareness campaigns first, and approaching expensive options second.


Economic Policies


• The Free Market will consistently output efficient and affordable results, so long as adequate competition exists. The Elizian National Congress supports anti-monopolistic measures to encourage competition and so, encourage results.
• In the interests of national security and defense of Elizia's sovereignty, the Elizian National Congress believes that critical industries (ie transport, power, arms manufacturing) should remain under full government control.
• Elizia is a nation full of innovators and entrepreneurs. The Elizian National Congress believes that protectionist measures are necessary to defend and nurture local industries so they can develop without foreign intervention.
• To further encourage and support Elizian businesses and projects, the Elizian National Congress believes that a state investment bank should be established to provide start-up capital to Elizians, without handing influence over to foreign interests.
• Welfare is a system that keeps some Elizians from financial collapse. However, without reform it will lead to the government facing similar issues. The Elizian National Congress favors a Workfare system where individuals will be required to volunteer for charitable NGO or GO work, take training courses of their selection to improve employability and provide proof of attempts to gain employment to receive payments.
• The "Progressive" tax system would punish hard-working Elizians who have earned their money fairly by taxing them at higher rates than other Elizians. The Elizian National Congress favors a flat income tax rate, excluding any income below the poverty line.
• Infrastructure is the backbone of the economy, and important in national defense. The Elizian National Congress believes that the infrastructure of the nation including roads, highways, rails, ports and airports, must be repaired where applicable and modernized.


Foreign Policies


• Elizia is a strong, cultured nation which has been endangered by the influences of foreign powers, particularly from the west. The Elizian National Congress believes in a strong foreign policy focused on strengthening relations in our "neighborhood".
• For a wide variety of practical reasons, the Elizian National Congress favors recognizing the PRC in exchange for financial concessions, while maintaining relations with Chinese Taipei through a consulate.
• While the IMF's corruption has damaged the Elizian economy in the past, other international financial institutions such as the NDB, IDB, IFAD, AIIB, and ADB are all potentially beneficial partners in economic development. The Elizian National Congress favors investigating these and similar institutions on a case-by-case basis and applying for membership where beneficial.
• To maintain sovereignty in the end a nation needs a strong military. The Elizian National Congress does not favor putting the military over social or economic concerns, but when the budget is able, expenses should be made in order to strengthen and modernize the Elizian Armed Forces on land, air and sea.

France is a nation with soft ideals and an imperialistic history in the region. The ENC does not approve of either of these factors. Nonetheless, it is a wealthy nation of the European Union, and the ENC is open to economic cooperation on equal terms with any nation.

Will expand later but my general impression is that it is too economically liberal, not nationalistic or authoritarian enough and doesn't really have any big policies to make any liberal-minded scream 'they said fucking what'.

It's a nice design but I worry it might be difficult to edit and use in banners, etc. That's not to say we're not open to changing the logo but that symbol would be a little difficult to put to use.
